The six most important rules

First Affirmative form undoes all the rules. (La forma afirmativa deshace todas las reglas que vendran a continuacion) He goes to school. I am a student. Second Interrogative form puts the verb or the auxiliary before the subject, according to the tense. (La forma interrogativa antepone el auxiliar o el verbo al sujeto de acuerdo al tiempo) Does he go to school? Am I a student? Third Negative form, the word not goes after the verb or the auxiliary. (Forma negativa, la palabra not va despues del verbo o del auxiliar) He does not go to school. I am not a student. Fourth Interrogative negative, the two previous rules are applied. (Negativo interrodativo, se aplica las dos reglas anteriores) Does not he go to school? Am not I student? Fifth When auxiliaries are used, the verb goes in the base form. (Cuando se utiliza auxiliaries el verbo va en su forma base) Does he go to school? Will I be a student? Sixth When we have two or more verbs in the sentence, only the first verb changes. (Cuando tenemos dos o mas verbos solo el primer verbo sufre los cambios) He has to go to school. I am going to school.
