Employer allocated Project Coordinator: Engineer or any other person informed to the Contractor.. Cooperate with the Project Coordinator in allocation of mobilization areas of site; for field offices and sheds, for Site access, traffic, and parking facilities. During construction, coordinate use of site and facilities through the Project Coordinator. Comply with Project Coordinator's procedures for intra-project communications; submittals, reports and records, schedules, coordination drawings, and recommendations; and resolution of ambiguities and conflicts. Comply with instructions of the Project Coordinator for use of temporary utilities and construction facilities. Coordinate field engineering and layout work under instructions of the Project Coordinator. Make the following types of submittals to Architect through the Project Coordinator: 1. Requests for interpretation. 2. Requests for substitution. 3. Shop drawings, product data, and samples. 4. Test and inspection reports. 5. Manufacturer's instructions and field reports. 6. Applications for payment and change order requests. 7. Progress schedules. 8. Coordination drawings. 9. Closeout submittals. Contractor is to provide the minimum staff requirements listed below. One full time Project Manager having minimum 10 years experience in U.A.E. Three full time Site Engineers having minimum 5 years experience. One part time Electro-mechanical Engineer having minimum 5 years experience. One part time HVAC Engineer having minimum 5 years experience. One part time Irrigation Engineer having minimum 5 years experience. One part time QA/QC Engineer having minimum 5 years experience.

PART 2 PRODUCTS - NOT USED PART 3 EXECUTION 3.01 PRECONSTRUCTION MEETING A. B. Architect will schedule a meeting after Notice to proceed.. Attendance Required: 1. Owner. 2. Architect. 3. Contractor. 4. Major Sub Contractors. Agenda: 1. Submission of executed bonds and insurance certificates. 2. Distribution of Contract Documents. 3. Submission of list of Subcontractors, list of Products, schedule of values, and progress schedule. 4. Designation of personnel representing the parties to Contract, Project Coordinator and Architect. 5. Procedures and processing of field decisions, submittals, substitutions, applications for payments, proposal request, Change Orders, and Contract closeout procedures. 6. Scheduling. Record minutes and distribute copies within two days after meeting to participants, with two copies to Architect, Owner, participants, and those affected by decisions made. Architect will schedule a meeting at the Project site prior to Contractor occupancy. Attendance Required: 1. Contractor. 2. Owner. 3. Architect. 4. Major Subcontractors. Agenda: 1. Use of premises by Owner and Contractor. 2. Owner's requirements and occupancy prior to completion. 3. Construction facilities and controls provided by Owner. 4. Temporary utilities provided by Owner. 5. Survey and Project layout. 6. Security and housekeeping procedures. 7. Schedules. 8. Application for payment procedures. 9. Procedures for testing. 10. Procedures for maintaining record documents. 11. Requirements for start-up of equipment. 12. Inspection and acceptance of equipment put into service during construction period. Record minutes and distribute copies within two days after meeting to participants, with two copies to Architect, Owner, participants, and those affected by decisions made. Schedule and administer meetings throughout progress of the Work at maximum half monthly intervals.

Architect will make arrangements for meetings, prepare agenda with copies for participants, preside at meetings. Attendance Required: Job superintendent, major Subcontractors and suppliers, Owner, Architect, as appropriate to agenda topics for each meeting. Agenda: 1. Review minutes of previous meetings. 2. Review of Work progress. 3. Field observations, problems, and decisions. 4. Identification of problems that impede, or will impede, planned progress. 5. Review of submittals schedule and status of submittals. 6. Maintenance of progress schedule. 7. Corrective measures to regain projected schedules. 8. Planned progress during succeeding work period. 9. Maintenance of quality and work standards. 10. Effect of proposed changes on progress schedule and coordination. 11. Other business relating to Work. Record minutes and distribute copies within two days after meeting to participants, with two copies to Architect, Owner, participants, and those affected by decisions made. If preliminary schedule requires revision after review, submit revised schedule within 5 days. Within 5 days after review of preliminary schedule, submit draft of proposed complete schedule for review. Within 5 days after joint review, submit complete schedule. Not withstanding above, the Contractor shall, working closely with the Engineer, exert intensive efforts to achieve approval of the Construction Schedule within first 10 days of receiving instructions to proceed. Contractor shall not be entitled to commence any site activity until the Construction Schedule is duly approved by the Engineer and any delay in obtaining approval and any losses incurred due to such delay, shall be on Contractor's own responsibilty. Submit updated schedule with half monthly Progress Reports. Submit new photographs with half monthly Progress Reports, within 3 days after exposure. Maintain one set of all photographs at project site for reference; same copies as submitted, identified as such. Photography Type: Digital; electronic files and photographer quality prints. Provide photographs of site and construction throughout progress of Work produced by an experienced photographer, acceptable to Architect. In addition to periodic, recurring views, take photographs of each of the following events: 1. Completion of site clearing. 2. Excavations in progress. 3. Foundations in progress and upon completion. 4. Structural framing in progress and upon completion. 5. Work progress of other activities in sequence. 6. Final completion, minimum of ten (10) photos. 7. Site Accidents and other similar incidents. 8. Damages to Owner's, Engineer's, Contractor's and other's property. 9. Mock-ups both approved and rejected. 10. Existing and installing utilities. Take photographs as evidence of existing project conditions as follows:

Exterior views: As instructed by the Engineer. Works progress in general. Work progress of major items.

Views: 1. Provide non-aerial photographs from four cardinal views at each specified time, until Date of Substantial Completion. 2. Panoramic views as required by the Engineer. 3. Consult with Architect for instructions on views required. 4. Provide factual presentation. 5. Provide correct exposure and focus, high resolution and sharpness, maximum depth of field, and minimum distortion. Photographer Quality Prints: Full color; three prints of each view. 1. Glossy; smooth texture; white tint; single weight; contrast grade 4, extra hard. 2. Size: 8 x 10 inch (200 x 250 mm); mounted for binder and tabs. 3. Identify each print on back. Identify name of Project, contract number, phase, orientation of view, date and time of view, name and address of photographer, and photographer's numbered identification of exposure. 4. Assemble prints into transparent holder sheets for 3-ring binder. 5. Binders: Provide one 2-inch binder with initial submittal. Provide information required by Project Coordinator for preparation of coordination drawings. Review drawings prior to submission to Architect. When the following are specified in individual sections, submit them for review: 1. Product data. 2. Shop drawings. 3. Samples for selection. 4. Samples for verification. 5. Test Reports. 6. Product Warranties. 7. Other documents as instructed by the Engineer. Submit to Architect for review for the limited purpose of checking for conformance with information given and the design concept expressed in the contract documents. Samples will be reviewed only for aesthetic, color, or finish selection. After review, provide copies and distribute in accordance with SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES article below and for record documents purposes described in Section 017800 - CLOSEOUT SUBMITTALS. When the following are specified in individual sections, submit them for information: 1. Design data. 2. Certificates. 3. Test reports. 4. Inspection reports. 5. Manufacturer's instructions. 6. Manufacturer's field reports. 7. Quality control and Quality assurance reports. 8. Warranties. 9. Other types indicated or as instructed by the Engineer. Submit for Architect's knowledge as contract administrator or for Owner.

3.09 SUBMITTALS FOR PROJECT CLOSEOUT A. When the following are specified in individual sections, submit them at project closeout: 1. Project record documents. 2. Operation and maintenance data. 3. Warranties. 4. Bonds. 5. As-built drawings.. 6. Stock material. 7. Other types as indicated or instructed by the Engineer. Submit for Owner's benefit during and after project completion. Documents for Review: 1. Small Size Sheets, Not Larger Than 8-1/2 x 11 inches (215 x 280 mm): Submit the number of copies that Contractor requires, plus two copies that will be retained by Architect. 2. Larger Sheets, Not Larger Than 36 x 48 inches (910 x 1220 mm): Submit one reproducible transparency and one opaque reproduction. Documents for Information: Submit two copies. Samples: Submit the number specified in individual specification sections; one of which will be retained by Architect. 1. After review, produce duplicates. 2. Retained samples will not be returned to Contractor unless specifically so stated. Transmit each submittal with approved form. Sequentially number the transmittal form. Revise submittals with original number and a sequential alphabetic suffix. Identify Project, Contractor, Subcontractor or supplier; pertinent drawing and detail number, and specification section number, as appropriate on each copy. Apply Contractor's stamp, signed or initialed certifying that review, approval, verification of Products required, field dimensions, adjacent construction Work, and coordination of information is in accordance with the requirements of the Work and Contract Documents. Schedule submittals to expedite the Project, and coordinate submission of related items. For each submittal for review, allow 15 days excluding delivery time to and from the Contractor. Identify variations from Contract Documents and Product or system limitations that may be detrimental to successful performance of the completed Work. Provide space for Contractor and Architect review stamps. When revised for resubmission, identify all changes made since previous submission. Distribute reviewed submittals as appropriate. Instruct parties to promptly report any inability to comply with requirements. Submittals not requested will not be recognized or processed. Document sizes: 1. All letters and transmittals A4 size. 2. Drawings A0 / A1 / A2 / A3 sizes. 3. All drawings in digital format (AutoCAD) also to be submitted along with the hard copies (No. of copies as required by the Engineer). END OF SECTION
