New version of Local Display Unit (LDU)

Engine type This document concerns WRTSIL 32 and 46 engines equipped with a WECS 2000 engine control system. Manufacturing of the DP90W Local Display Unit has ended and it is no longer available. See Figure 1.

Fig. 1 Old LDU type, DP90W. Replacement As replacement a new LDU type, GOP 7B, is now available. See Figure 2.

Fig. 2 New LDU type, GOP 7B. Due to the different dimensions an adapter plate is needed when mounting the new unit, the necessary parts are included in an upgrade kit. See the Ordering section for the part number. Note! When replacing the LDU type the software in the Main Control Unit (MCU) in WECS 2000 must be updated. See the Ordering section for more information.

Installation instructions Note For safety reasons, power off the WECS 2000 system when doing the installation. 1. Mount the new LDU with the adapter plate. See Figure 3.
