IMPORTANT Please observe the recommendations when disconnecting and reconnecting the battery (see Battery: Removal Refitting) (MR 395, 402 or 405, Electrical equipment, 80A, Battery). Disconnect the battery. Replace the ABS/ESP hydraulic unit (see Hydraulic unit with ESP: Removal Refitting) (MR 395, 402 or 405 Chassis, 38C, Anti-lock braking system). Reconnect the battery. IMPORTANT Carry out the necessary programming (see Battery: Initialisation) (MR 397, 404 or 407, Fault finding, 80A, Battery).
