What's
Involved?
Step
Up
is
our
secondary
school
support
programme
which
is
a
one-to-one
mentoring
club
for
young
people
transitioning
from
primary
to
secondary
school.
Since
the
club
started
in
September
2011
it
has
grown
from
catering
for
10
young
people
to
36
in
September
2013.
Tasks
Include:
Building
a
mentoring
relationship
with
one
young
person.

Ambassador

What's
Involved: Ambassadors will approach tourists and chat to them about local tourist attractions,
cultural events, businesses, history and local traditions in the area. Ambassadors will also help tourists with directions and public transport queries along the Thomas Street area. Don't worry you won't be asked to sell or fundraise! By participating in the ambassador programme, volunteers are helping to put a welcome face on the historic Thomas Street area. Where:

Volunteers

Pop
Up
Park
Volunteers
What's
Involved: Upstart now requires a team of volunteers to help transform a vacant site in Dublin
City Centre at Dominick Street Dublin 1 into a Pop-Up Park for one month this summer. The park will feature open-air cinema, a theatre, restaurant and events for the whole community to enjoy. All volunteer skills are welcome. Where:
