Role: Fundraising Volunteer -MS Ireland What's Involved? Deal with telephone enquiries to MS Irelands Fundraising Office to include providing information to callers and referring them to the appropriate person, taking messages as required and ensuring that all calls are dealt with in an efficient, professional and courteous manner. To greet all visitors in a friendly professional m anner. To provide general administrative support to the Fundraising Team Where: Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 When: 14 hours a week Role: Database Administrator - Clanwilliam Institute What's Involved? The volunteer will need to coordinate client clinical information for input to database. They will then input this data into the database and ensure the reports are running accurately for the period in question. Where: 18 Clanwilliam Terrace, Dublin 2 When: Mon, Tues or Wed morning for 9 months Role: Assistant to the Concerts' Manager - National Chamber Choir of Ireland What's Involved? Assisting the Concerts Manager in the running of rehearsal space for singers/instrumentalists/Artistic director. - Liaising with key artistic personnel. - Stage management & backstage duties: Set up and take down of staging/lights/electrics/backstage area & dressing room area before and after Concert. - Safely lifting and carrying equipment under the guidance of the Concerts Manager. Where: The National Concert Hall, Earlsfort terrace, Dublin 2 and The Pepper Canister Church, 2 Mount St Cresent, Dublin 2.When: 16 hours a week, days are flexible Role: VOLUNTEER MENTOR SECONDARY SCHOOL SUPPORT PROGRAMME (STEP UP CLUB) What's Involved? Step Up is our secondary school support programme which is a one-to-one mentoring club for young people transitioning from primary to secondary school. Since the club started in September 2011 it has grown from catering for 10 young people to 36 in September 2013. Tasks Include: Building a mentoring relationship with one young person. Where: Marrowbone Lane, Dublin 8 When: 1 hour a week for 9 months Role: Colour Dash Volunteers - 27th July - Irish Cancer Society What's Involved: Volunteers are required for the Colour Zones, registration area and for stewarding. Where: Phoenix Park, Dublin 8. When: Saturday, 27th July 2013. Times: 8:30am - 1pm. Role: Thomas Street Volunteer Ambassador - Volunteer Ireland What's Involved: Ambassadors will approach tourists and chat to them about local tourist attractions,

cultural events, businesses, history and local traditions in the area. Ambassadors will also help tourists with directions and public transport queries along the Thomas Street area. Don't worry you won't be asked to sell or fundraise! By participating in the ambassador programme, volunteers are helping to put a welcome face on the historic Thomas Street area. Where: Volunteers will be based primarily in Thomas Street, Cornmarket and High Street, effectively between
Christchurch Cathedral and James's Gate. Volunteers are expected to walk around The Liberties area taking in, on occasion, Meath Street & Francis Street. When: August to September 2013 Role: Upstart- Pop Up Park Volunteers What's Involved: Upstart now requires a team of volunteers to help transform a vacant site in Dublin

City Centre at Dominick Street Dublin 1 into a Pop-Up Park for one month this summer. The park will feature open-air cinema, a theatre, restaurant and events for the whole community to enjoy. All volunteer skills are welcome. Where: Dominick Street, Dublin 1
