Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage key accounts in Asian markets and develop new clients as well. Source more than 150 containers of all types of yarns from mills in Pakistan Oversee sourcing of fringe fabrics, other commodity & value added yarns. Sell all type of yarns preferably Polyester Fiber and yarn to importers in Pakistan. Develop and sustain excellent relations with suppliers and manage product mix. Must be able to influence/win support from senior sourcing executives and senior management within the company, including key suppliers outside the organization. Must have a clear understanding of stakeholder needs and technical aspects of the sourcing function and related policies in order to organize, develop and manage projects efficiently to deliver products and/or services to internal business clients.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:


Work as a team leader or team member in the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, researching stakeholder requirements, documenting RFP, and coordinating all surrounding activities Ensure purchases for required goods or services are made by recommending appropriate supplier/s, costs, processes, etc.

Evaluate and analyze supplier proposals- Review contracts and possess knowledge of purchasing contracts and contract terminology Review, redline, and negotiate contracts to mitigate risks Obtain savings and track savings

Supplier Management:
Develop and maintain supplier relationships Arrange performance reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders to evaluate supplier performance and make recommendations to address issues and exploit opportunities Perform analysis of supplier spend data and process metrics to proactively recommend improvements

Stakeholder Management:
Work with and across stakeholder groups to define needs and aggregate wherever possible. Act as liaison between the stakeholder and the supplier to determine if optimal approach to meeting validated business requirements Provide input to stakeholders on budget development based on market/supplier pricing Provide feedback to stakeholders and management regarding status of projects and initiatives Provide education and guidance to stakeholders regarding value of adopting and complying with purchasing policies, procedures, tools, and processes

General/Projects:
Must have good knowledge of various sourcing practices and tools, and lead/support efforts to enhance the value of sourcing to the organization Perform analysis of spend data and process metrics to proactively recommend improvement Extend the reach of Sourcing by exercising appropriate influence within project teams, customer groups, and peer groups Create or lead project teams, or directly address specific sourcing issues, working with stakeholders and sourcing management to reach resolutions

Helping Tools:
Provided with the room at the head office of company. The room will equipped with AC computer printer telephone and other necessary items Company will provide you personal transportation for official work or reimburse the expenses(against documented evidence only). A total of 15 days holiday will be given in full year .

Job Specification
Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of IT software categories and supply markets Professional written and verbal communication skills. Advanced knowledge of software and licensing contract terminology Proven negotiation skills Excellent project management skills Knowledge of sourcing principles Excellent relationship management skills Strong skill in use of Microsoft Office

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:


Ten years of strategic sourcing experience including but not limited to category level responsibilities in Sales and Sourcing. Minimum 5 year work experience in trading environment with mills in Pakistan.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. MBA highly desirable. Technical know now of the industry.

Other Requirements:
Excellent relationship with good suppliers in Pakistan. Ability to work under pressure. Strong sense of honesty, integrity and responsibility. Proactive with excellent leadership & team building skills. Open for extensive travel within Pakistan and other international locations.
