How to Use the Third-Party Server to Collect CHR Data 1) Use a PC as the server. Run the server tool on the PC. In this example, the FileZilla Server is selected as the server software. Set the root directory of the server, and then start the server.

Set the route from the NE to the third-party server. Check the IP address of the NE to collect data on the Main Topology page. The method is as follows: Choose Topology > Main Topology. Right-click the NE to collect data and select Property from the shortcut menu. In the displayed NE Property dialog box, you can check the IP address of the NE. A route must be configured for each NE so that the CHR data on each NE can be uploaded to the third-party server.

After configuring the route, run the Ping command on the MML Command tab page to ensure that the third-party server and the NE can be pinged successfully.

Start the CHR collection task and check whether any file is uploaded from the preset directory. Select CHR Data Collection in the Task Management pane, and then start the collection task, as shown in the following figure.
