COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT OF METIN2 PRIVATE SERVER IP: 159.253.132.129 HOSTED BY SOFTLAYER


We represent Tec Interactive, a Company incorporated under the Law of Singapore, registered as an authorized Game Publisher for a massively multi-player online game known as Metin2 (hereinafter referred to as Product). We hereby provide notice of copyright infringements pursuant to the terms of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act straight from the statute 17 U.S.C. of Section 512(c)(3).

Webzen Ymir Games is the owner of the copyrighted product and Tec Interactive is the rightful Licensee appointed by the owner to publish the Product in it respective territories. Information of our rightful claim can be found at below mentioned web links:

It has come to our attention that your organization has hosted an unlawful copy of the product for one of your clients known as WorldofMetin2 under IP address 159.253.132.129. All copyrightable aspects of the product are copyrighted under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of the United States law.

We have copies of the unlawful publication to preserve as evidence. We have a good faith belief that the use of the product described in this letter is not authorized by Copyright owner, any agent of Copyright owner or any applicable law. The information in this notification is accurate. We swear under penalty of perjury that we are authorized to act on behalf of Copyright owner with respect to the subject matter of this letter.

We therefore request that you remove the unlawful publication of your client as set forth in Section 512(c)(3) and Section 512(b)(2)(E) of the Act and pursuant to your Copyright Policy.

If you do not comply with this cease and desist demand, Tec Interactive is entitled to use your failure to comply as evidence of willful infringement and seek monetary damages and equitable relief for the copyright infringement. Please be advised that we will contemplate pursuing all available legal remedies, including seeking monetary damages, injunctive relief, and an order that you pay court costs and attorneys fees. Your liability and exposure under such legal action could be considerable.

Before taking these steps, however, we wished to give your organization one opportunity to discontinue the hosting services for the said client by complying with this demand. If you or your attorney has any questions, please contact the undersigned to confirm that the infringing materials have been removed or access disabled.
