PERU REPORT

FROM THE EDITOR

Welcome to the February edition of Estudio Echecopar's Newsletter.
Minister of Economy and Finance, Luis Miguel Castilla, stressed that private investments and public-private partnerships are essential in order to maintain Perus economic growth rate. In this sense, he informed that the government is preparing a package of legal measures to unlock over than 25 public-private investment projects to be added to the US$ 2,000 billion concessions program. We hope this should be a start point for a new effort from the government to foster private investment in public infrastructure. As always, we will keep you updated with news of the most important public infrastructure investment projects and opportunities in Peru.
