THEMATIC APPROACH
Each week, the curriculum focuses on a specic theme; Theater, Science, Art or the Environment. The activities and course work are all designed to integrate with the theme for that week. This makes for a more enjoyable and productive learning experience.

The language classes are blended with students from around the world, and the afternoon activities are combined with American students of the same age who are studying Spanish as a second language. ABOUT BSML & EASTERN POINT
The Boston School of Modern Languages is Americas rst and leading private English language school. For over 85 years BSML has taught English to students of all ages from all over the world. Our satellite campus is located on Eastern Point overlooking historic Gloucester Harbor. Just 200 meters from the waterfront, the location is one of the most scenic in New England. Gloucester is famous for its beaches, working shing village, historic harbor, art colonies and recreational boating facilities. Gloucester has an excellent public transportation system and is on the main commuter rail with convenient access to downtown Boston. Eastern Point derives its name because it is situated on the easternmost point on Cape Ann, just north of Boston. Because Cape Ann is surrounded by ocean on three sides, it enjoys the nest weather in New England cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

BSMLs English by-the-Sea program is specially designed for kids who wish to study intensive English in a total immersion environment, but also combined with : Sailing Snorkeling Biking Hiking Tennis Beach outings Historical tours Art and cultural activities Our youth programs are designed to teach English skills to students between the ages of 11 to 14 in a nurturing and fun-lled environment, while interacting with students from around the world. The curriculum is designed to provide a solid foundation in the fundamental skills of English using methods that are well suited for the way children learn. The classes are lled with activities that are both fun and educational. Your child will learn vocabulary, grammar and idiomatic expressions, which are critical to creating a solid foundation for future development in English.
