The required input for the UPS system are package info, clients signature, the pickup info and delivery data, info location ,billing and Documentation of Clients clearance. The process all that by sending data to central network. The driver puts the so called (DIAD) in the UPS trucks vehicle adapter then the information of package tracking after that sent to UPSs network to be stored and processed inside the main computers. By Appling the automated package monitoring the company helps the clients to easily monitor his order and know exactly the location and time of delivery and thats will cost the business a little compared if this system is not there. 5-What would happen if these technologies were not available? If the technology were not available, the UPS will do its best to make monitoring the delivery available to the clients but they will pay a lot for that which will lead the increase in the price. And that will make it difficult for the UPS employees and hard for the clients to monitor their delivery
