CORROGROUT ADMIX
Expanding and Plasticizing Additive for grouts, mortars & concrete

DESCRIPTION CORROGROUT ADMIX is a powder blend of expansive agent, plasticizers and filler and primarily used as an additive for expansive cementitious grout. It is directly added to plain cement or cement-sand mixtures to create a fluid pumpable expansive grout which is intimate in contact with the surrounding substrate. The plasticizer content reduces water demand resulting in more stronger grout. USES Typical application includes cable duct grouting in precast prestressed concrete, cavities / hole filling and other applications where a pumpable, medium strength, non-shrink grouting are required. For high strength, precision pre-packed grouting, use CORROGROUT - NS. ADVANTAGES Non ferrous Positive expansion Fluid pumpable consistency Does not contain chlorides Reduced water cement ratio DIRECTION FOR USE Mechanical mixing is essential. Use mixer with rotating paddles inside a stationary drum as opposed to free-fall mixers. Alternatively, an electric drill filled with spiral paddle running at 200 RPM can be used. First put the required amount of water into the mixer / container then add cement (and sand if required). Mix until the cement has been completely dispersed then add CORROGROUT ADMIX and continue mixing for at least 2 minutes until grout is uniform. Place immediately. RECOMMENDED USAGE/DOSAGE Neat cement grout: Use 0.5% CORROGROUT ADMIX by weight of cement. Maximum water 22 litres per 50 kg of cement. Cement / sand grout: When using equal parts of sand and cement use 0.5% CORROGROUT ADMIX by weight of cement. Maximum water 27 litres for 100 kg batch. Plasticising: Use 0.5% CORROGROUT ADMIX by weight of cement and reduce water contents by 10 15%. The same workability will be achieved with a 10% increase in compressive strength. For grout, mortar or concrete mix with an aggregate / cement ratio more than 1, use 1% CORROGROUT ADMIX by weight of cement PACKING CORROGROUT ADMIX is supplied in 250 grams metal cans packed 12 can per carton. 5 kg plastic bags packed 3 bags per container.

Dosage mentioned should be used as a guide for designing expansive cementitious mixture screed quality and type of cement can effect expansion properties, it is highly recommended that site trials are conducted to determine optimum dosage for a particular application.

SHELF LIFE Twelve months minimum in original unopened container stored in covered condition. HEALTH/SAFETY CORROGROUT ADMIX is non-hazardous but being a powder, users are advised to wear dust mask.
