by Stephanie Gage Materials: - 2 skeins of Queensland Haze, color: 908 - 5.00mm (US H) hook - scissors - tapestry needle Notes: Place a stitch marker at the beginning of your rounds when working in single crochet to help keep track of your progress. Abbreviations: ch = chain dc = double crochet sk = skip ss = slip stitch chsp = chain space pm = place marker

Note - Be sure to ch1 at the beginning of every round. The chain will count as your first stitch. - Join all rounds with a ss. Base - ch3, join to form a ring Round: 1. 6 sc into center hole; ss in the first stitch of the round (the beginning of your 6 sc) 2. 1sc in same spot as ss (same for every following row); 2 sc in each stitch around (12sc); join with ss 3. 2 sc in every other stitch around (18 sc) 4. 2 sc in every 3rd stitch around (24 sc) 5. 2 sc in every 4th stitch around (30 sc) 6. 2 sc in every 5th stitch around (36 sc)

Continue in this fashion until you reach row 20. Heres a guideline: 7 . Every 6th (42 sc) 8. Every 7th (48 sc) 9. Every 8th (54 sc) 10. Every 9th (60 sc) 11. Every 10th (66 sc) 12. Every 11th (72 sc) 13. Every 12th (78 sc) 14. Every 13th (84 sc) 15. Every 14th (90 sc) 16. Every 15th (96 sc) 17. Every 16th (102 sc) 18. Every 17th (108 sc) 19. Every 18th (114 sc) 20. Every 19th (120 sc) 21. *1 sc in each stitch around* (pm in ch [counts as 1st sc] to keep track of your rows); join w/ ss to beginning of round. 22. Repeat previous row. Body Mesh stitch: Round 1: ch3, 1dc in next 2 st; *ch1, sk 1 st, 1dc in next 3 st* - repeat from * to * until end of round. - join to beginning of round with ss. 2: 4ss to get to chsp; ch3, 2dc in same chsp; *ch1, 3dc in next chsp* - repeat from * to * until end of round. - join to beginning of round with ss. 3 - 20: Repeat round 2. - end row 20 with a ss to top of beginning ch. - ch1

Top Round: 1 *sc in each of 3 dc; 1sc in chsp* repeat to end. 2 - 5: sc around; end w/ ss in first ch of round; ch 1. Placing markers helps you keep track of rounds!

Handle 1 Sc in next 4 stitches (5 stitches total) *ch1; turn; sc across 5 st* Continue until handle measures approx. 14.5 inches from where handle began. Near base of strap (top of bag), count 25 stitches to the right of the strap. ss loose end of the handle to the top of the bag. Finish off. Handle 2 Join yarn to the 26th st from the first handle ch1; sc in next 4 stitches (5 stitches total) *ch1; turn; sc across 5 st* Continue until handle measures approx. 14.5 inches from where handle began. Near base of strap (top of bag), count 25 stitches to the left of the strap. ss loose end of the handle to the top of the bag. Finish off.
