Pinarello introduce la sua prima full con la stessa filosofia con cui lo scorso anno stata presentata la DOGMA XC: innovare. La Nuova DOGMA XM 9.9 frutto di visioni decisamente innovative, figlia di un desiderio forte di uscire da schemi tradizionali per portare idee rivoluzionarie nel mondo delle bi-ammortizzate. Ci consideriamo pionieri, ma con coscenza ed esperienza derivante dalla nostra storia nel ROAD e da un nuovo staff allinterno della Pinarello LAB con indiscussa esperienza nellMTB. Un nuovo staff che guarda al futuro orientato allinnovazione ed a nuove soluzioni davanguardia. Non ricalchiamo per filosofia i vecchi sentieri ma cerchiamo di aprire nuove vie, certamente difficili, sapendo che la via sconosciuta pu aprire scenari decisamente straordinari.

Pinarello introduces its first full-suspended MTB with the same philosophy with which it presented the DOGMA XC last year: innovate. The new DOGMA XM 9.9 is the outcome of very innovative visions, it is the result of a strong desire to get out of traditional schemes and bring revolutionary ideas in the full-suspension world. We consider ourselves pioneers but with consciousness and experience arising from our history in road racing and some new staff in the Pinarello LAB with unquestioned mountain biking experience. This new staff that looks to the future, oriented to innovation and new cutting-edge solutions. As is our philosophy, even here we dont trace the old paths but we try to open new ways, certainly difficult, but the unknown way can open new scenarios, definitely extraordinary. PINAFIT with Forkstopper

Su DOGMA XC e DOGMA XM utilizziamo nella parte anteriore il sistema PINAFIT con Forkstopper per permettervi di sfruttare tutta la potenza del triangolo anteriore perfetto, un sistema che oggi nessun altro pu vantare. Tutti i produttori di MTB, costruiscono i propri telai partendo dal presupposto che la forcella anteriore debba ruotare a 360. Questo li obbliga ad allungare il triangolo principale, compromettendo inevitabilmente la sua naturale rigidit ,al contrario dei telai Strada. Con PINAFIT, salendo sui pedali, si ha la straodinaria sensazione di pedalare con una bici da strada; il triangolo anteriore infatti ha caratteristiche di rigidit laterale insuperabili perch un triangolo perfetto. Il Forkstopper inoltre protegge il telaio ed il manubrio in caso di cadute, impedendo che sbattano tra loro.

On DOGMA XC and DOGMA XM we use the front system PINAFIT with Forkstopper to enable you to exploit the full power of the perfect front triangle, a system that today none except us can be proud of. All MTB manufacturers build their own frames on the assumption that the front fork should rotate 360. This forces them to stretch the main triangle inevitably compromising its own natural stiffness, contrarily to that of road frames. With PINAFIT pushing on the pedals, you have the unbeatable feeling of riding a road bike, the front triangle has indeed overwhelming lateral stiffness because it is a perfect triangle. The Forkstopper also protects frame and handlebars in case of falls, preventing their impact with the top tube.

XPOWER Closure
La chiusura sella la nostra collaudata XPower che assicura una presa sul tubo sella molto pi estesa, riducendo circa del 50% lo stress su di un punto notoriamente critico e sollecitato. Quattro viti blindano il tubo sella al telaio rendendolo un corpo unico. The seat clamp is our proven XPower which ensures a more extended grip on the seat tube, reducing of about 50% the stress on a notoriously critical and stressed point. Four screws lock down the seat post to the frame making it as a single body.

MONOLINK Asymmetric
Lammortizzatore centrale sulla DOGMA XM poggia sul nostro Monolink Asymmetric Leggero ma robustissimo, una vera opera darte delCNC, fulcro indistruttibile del quadrilatero posteriore Onda Curve Asymmetric. The central shock on the DOGMA XM rests on our Monolink Asymmetric Light but sturdy, a true work of art of CNC, the indestructible core of the rear quadrilateral Onda Curve Asymmetric.

RAD System
DOGMA XM utilizza il sistema RAD, ovvero monta la pinza freno sul fodero posteriore sinistro.Questo ci permette una frenata pi simmetrica e sicura che non incide sulla stabilit generale del telaio. DOGMA XM uses the RAD system that mounts the brake caliper on the left chainstay. This allows a more symmetrical and safe braking that does not affect the overall stability of the frame.

ICR Internal Cable Routing

Tutti i cavi della DOGMA XM scorrono internamente. E previsto anche un foro passa guaina per un eventuale tubo sella pneumatico con remote control. All cables of DOGMA XM pass internally. It also has an adjunctive hole for a possible adjustable seat post with remote control.

La nostra non fobia da asimmetria, ma la prova matematica che la simmetria sul posizionamento dei componenti in molti casi non ha alcun senso. Il caso dellammortizzatore centrale uno di questi. La parte destra del nostro telaio dedicata alla guarnitura, ed al deragliatore; punto focale della trazione della nostra bici dove le forze si esprimono in maniera preponderante e dove i pesi sono nettamente sbilanciati sul telaio. Lammortizzatore centrale sulla DOGMA XM grazie al nostro sistema ASC non tocca direttamente il telaio in carbonio, ma indirettamente collegato al movimento centrale grazie ad un braccio in alluminio ancorato con 8 bulloni. Questo assicura meno stress al telaio ed irrubostisce ulteriormente il movimento centrale. Lammortizzatore centrale non simmetrico al telaio ma asimmetrico per bilanciare perfettamente la parte destra del telaio dove lavora la guarnitura ed il deragliatore. Questo si traduce in un bilanciamento perfetto dei pesi e dei volumi che render la vostra pedalata pi simmetrica ed equilibrata..

Ours is not a phobia of symmetry, but the mathematical proof that the symmetric positioning of components in many cases makes little sense. The case of the central shock absorber is one of these. The right part of our frame is dedicated to the crank, and the front derailleur; focal point of the traction of our bike where the forces are prevalent, and where the weights are significantly unbalanced on the frame. The central shock on DOGMA XM, thanks to our ASC does not directly touch the carbon frame, but it is indirectly connected to the bottom bracket thanks to a aluminum arm anchored with 8 bolts. This ensures less stress to the frame and further strengthens the bottom bracket. The central shock is not symmetrical to frame, but asymmetric to perfectly balance the right side of the frame where the crank and front derailleur work. This results in a perfect balance of the weights and volumes that will make your pedaling more symmetrical and balanced.

Deragliatore flottante
Il deragliatore della DOGMA XM non sul tubo sella ma segue il movimento del carro posteriore. E ancorato infatti sul fodero posteriore per garantirvi una cambiata perfetta anche in condizioni estreme. Floating front derailleur. The front derailleur on the DOGMA XM is not fixed on the seat tube, but it follows the movements of the rear stays. It is indeed anchored on the chainstay to give you a perfect shifting even in extreme conditions.

Boccole IGUS
DOGMA XM ha sostituito i classici cuscinetti da 15mm con boccole ad alto scorrimento IGUS, una garanzia di durata, prestazioni e peso ridottissimo. IGUS bushings DOGMA XM has replaced the classic 15mm bearings with low friction IGUS bushings, a guarantee of durability, performance and low weight.

Perno Passante
DOGMA XM monta su ambo le ruote un perno passante 142/12 sinonimo di prestazioni e straordinario comfort di guida. Through axle DOGMA XM mounts both wheels on a through axle 142/12 for outstanding performance and riding comfort.

Il sogno di ogni Biker? ovvio: avere una bici che ammortizza solo se necessario. Fino ad oggi questo avveniva solo grazie a controlli remoti. Il nostro quadrilatero posteriore Onda Curve Asymmetric cambia tutti gli schemi perch rigidissimo su terreni regolari e si attiva solo sullo sconnesso. E un concentrato di tecnologia unico nel suo genere. I principali telai oggi sul mercato hanno di solito circa 6 punti di rotazione con boccole. Questo avviene quasi sempre in prossimit della ruota o del movimento centrale. Il sesto punto un fulcro di rotazione sempre attivo, qualsiasi sia il terreno, ed un punto di rotazione che ovviamente si traduce in un inevitabile punto debole, un punto pesante poich vi sono boccole e viti, un punto che necessita di manutenzione e pulizia costante. Tutto questo in Dogma XM non esiste pi, abbiamo eliminato il punto debole! Il nostro carro Onda Curve Asymmetric ha solo 5 punti di flessione, un monoscocca straordinario in cui la cinematica avviene grazie al suo esclusivo braccio in carbonio flessibile che rende immobile il quadrilatero sui terreni regolari e si attiva solo su terreno sconnesso. Il carro ha unescursione di 80 mm ed un rapporto di leva di 2,1. Fate presto ad immaginare quali siano i benefit di tutto ci: una bici sempre rigidissima e reattiva, ma attiva ed ammortizzante solo se strettamente necessario. Una tecnologia di ultimissima generazione derivata dai bilanceri delle auto di Formula Uno, materiali speciali ed una particolare stratificazione del carbonio permettono una flessione precisa e controllata tale a far ruotare il nostro quadrilatero posteriore con precisione straordinaria ed infinita...solo quando serve!

The dream of every biker? its obvious: to have a bike that dampens only if necessary. Until now, this was possible only by remote controls. Our rear quadrilateral Onda Curve Asymmetric changes all that because it is very firm on flat ground and it works only on uneven terrain. It is a unique combination of technologies. Most frames on the market today have about 6 points of rotation with bushings. This almost always takes place near the wheel or the bottom bracket. The sixth rotation point is always active, regardless of terrain, and therefore results in an inevitable weak point, a heavy point since there are bushings and screws, a point which requires constant maintenance and cleaning . All this no longer exists in Dogma XM, we have eliminated the weak point! Our rear stay Onda Curve Asymmetric has only 5 flex points, an extraordinary monocoque in which the kinematics functions thanks to its exclusive carbon flexible arm that makes the quadrilateral rigid on even grounds and flexible only on uneven grounds. You can easily imagine the benefits of this: a stiffer and more reactive bike, active and absorbing only if clearly needed.
