AVETMISS Easy is best described as the most affordable and powerful NO FRILLS AVETMISS reporting tool. The software comes fully compliant with the current AVETMISS standard and state requirements.

For those of you who have a website, there is a webENROL version which allows you to capture client data from your own site without the need to re-enter this data. AVETMISS Easy 2010 is a unique, simple, and easy to use physical standalone software package designed to now cater for both funded and fee-forservice training. Originally the software was only offered to non-funded RTO's, however now funded RTO's also can use this software to satisfy their QLD RTO reporting requirements.

We also have a dedicated data services team that can assist with data imports or special projects you may have. Feel free to visit our website and compare the benefits of purchasing this marvellous software tool. SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Does your software import our existing data? There is no one size fits all software that is able to import data from every working system that does not involve your manual intervention. There would be far too many combinations of student systems out there, most of them employing partially manual methods and different formats. Our system however allows you to 'easily' enter this data when needed for the sole purpose of producing AVETMISS files. We also offer 1 hour of free programming and data manipulation services to small RTO's to assist them in importing from their own systems when they are required to report their non-funded data to their registering body. In our testing, we have been able to enter the full student activity of 150 students in 3 hours. What is the webENROL component, and how does it work? The "AVETMISS Easy" windows software is the same for both versions (webENROL and standard). Essentially both are physical software applications that you can install on unlimited machines within your organisation. The webENROL addition is a separate HTML/JavaScript file that you place on your own web server (compatible with PHP or ASP) that asks the correct enrolment questions to ensure you gather AVETMISS compliant data on each new client. It then "POSTS" the client information securely to our server to capture the data, and then reposts it back to your server to continue with your online enrolment process. We essentially piggy-back the posting process of data to enable us to take a copy of the data and email it on to you for easy importing directly into AVETMISS Easy removing the need for you to manually re-enter this information when it comes time for you to report. Does the software take care of all of my Quality Indicator reporting across the RTO?

There is no one size fits all software that is able to automate your entire Quality Indicator reporting requirements that does not involve your manual intervention. There is always work required from the RTO to manipulate the data or upload it into the correct government system. The reason for this is that every registering body has their own system (all free) to facilitate the reporting of this information. The individual states supply very good technical support on these systems as well, and all the systems differ by state. Quality Indicator reporting is not AVETMISS reporting, it is a separate requirement under AQTF.

Why is AVETMISS Easy so affordable? We believe in the concept that if you combine simplicity with functionality you can create efficiency. Our software is clean, simple and functional. It is intentionally not a full scale student management system; instead it is an operational AVETMISS reporting student database tool. FLEXIBILITY IN THE CUSTOMISATION OF THE OFFERING OF ANY QUALIFICATION The CORSKILL Management System has always managed the customisation of the various offerings of the one Qualification for different purposes through the creation of separate Default Profiles (Template Training Plans) for each individual offering of a particular qualification.

TRACKING OF TRAINEE PROGRESS AT THE ASSESSMENT ITEM LEVEL The CORSKILL Management System has always been able to track a trainees progress through their training program at the assessment item level. Now your courses and classes are advertised online, and your onCourse website updates itself from the changes you make to your database, students can access all your course information including the number of places available, any time of the day or night. So whenever they find the class for them and are ready to enrol, you are ready to take their payment.

Students visiting your website will be able to enrol and create a student account even if they are first time customers. Students who are returning customers will only need to enter their name and email address to enrol again the website will cross check their details with the database so you dont end up with duplicate students.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS By integrating a payment gateway, ish onCourse will process credit card payments in near real time over an encrypted internet connection. TED (TRAINEE ENROLMENTS DATABASE)

Ted is designed as a simple, no frills, database that meets the AVETMISS reporting rules for all states in Australia. Ted can also create AQTF Competency Completion reports that can be imported into the Competency Completion Online System.

While you enter data into Ted it validates each entry against the AVETMISS rules, giving you immediate feedback, this ensures you have the least number of errors returned from the state government when you submit the AVETMISS files.

Ted has a limited number of facilities to aid you in managing large numbers of trainees. These facilities make it easier to find trainees, print groups of trainees and bulk enrol multiple trainees.

The facilities include: Setting trainees as active or archived, lists and reports will by default only list the active trainees. Enrolments can be labelled with a Course Program. This can represent anything you like. For example: classes, contracts, regions... Details of Training Package Qualifications and Units of Competency from NTIS are provided as part of Ted. Searching and importing these details saves you time minimising the amount of typing you need to do. It is made a simple as searching for the Qualification/Units you need and filling in the Nominal Hours for each Unit of Competency.

If you have your own internal courses or courses not provided as part of the Training Package data, you can manually enter your own Course and Module details.

Ted has a limited number of reports that include: Individual Enrolment Summary including enrolments dates and results. List of Trainees in Course List of Trainees who have completed Course List of Trainees in Module List of Trainees competent in Module List of Trainees at Location Mail Merge List. This can be used as the mail merge source for Word so you can print letters or labels.

All of the reports in Ted are shown in Microsoft Word so you have the ability to save them or adjusting them before printing. ICARE Icare is a Student Management System designed that is AVETMISS compliant. Icare can also create AQTF Competency Completion reports that can be imported into the Competency Completion Online System.

Two types of reports are available in Icare. The first type of reports is built into Icare and has a specific purpose. The second type of report you can design yourself in Microsoft Word or some other RTF compliant word processor. There are many built-in reports in Icare that will be useful to your organisation. They often have configuration options to allow you to make the report best meet your needs.

The Report Wizard is the section of Icare that allows you to design your own reports. You create your reports using a word processor, this means you can apply the full flexibility of formatting/fonts/logos to each report you design. The reports are designed in a similar way to Mail Merge documents that you may be familiar with, the Report Wizard extends on the mail merge concept allowing you to create more complex documents such as a letter to the trainee listing the modules they have enrolled in.

The best use of the Report Wizard is for your Certificates and Statements of Attainment, it gives you the flexibility to format these reports in your own way rather than being dictated by a predefine format in the system.

Reports designed in the Report Wizard have full access to any additional screens and fields you have designed into your system.

Assessments WinSAS includes a specialised process of printing assessments (Class Roll Style) collection reports, coupled with a specialised assessment entry by Unit of Competency. This time saving feature gives the ability to enter results in bulk, as well as individually. Assessments can be recorded as either marks or grades or both. Once collected, the system can produce student statements of results and attainment.

AVETMISS Data Our software has been providing AVETMISS statistical reporting since TAFE's were first required to report in the early 90's. WinSAS caters for all States requirements (including NSW and WA) and runs multiple states with in the one system. A step by step process allows you to complete the AVETMISS data as a normal part of the student enrolment. The data entered in the curriculum and student enrolments provides all the information needed for the AVETMISS lodgement. The statistical reporting files can be produced at any time through out the year and even for prior years if required (some limitations may apply).

Reports WinSAS contains a large number of standard reports including (but not limited to):Full curriculum report detailing all modules/competencies and elements per training package showing hours, discipline groups, core items etc. Student enrolment report detailing all students enrolled in courses. Because WinSAS is developed using the Visual DataFlex DBMS from Data Access (Miami, USA) it is available on any platform that Data Access supports. Currently this includes Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 or XP.

WinSAS operates in a stand-alone or Local Area Network environment.

Since the release of the Windows version in 1998 WinSAS is running in over 45 sites using a range of Windows versions, varying from single user up to 100+ users.

We develop WinSAS in house using Windows 95, 98, NT4.0 sp3, and XP. The same version of WinSAS runs on all of the above mentioned platforms.

What is needed to run WinSAS? Minimum Pentium 266MHz CPU or better 64 Mb RAM 30 Mb hard disk space (Not Including Data) Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, XP WinSAS may run on a PC with lower specifications. If you have any doubts please contact Winger Software.

Installation WinSAS is shipped with a self installing CD and manuals. The full MS Windows installation process does not require an on-site visit.

Training WinSAS training can be conducted via tele-conference (for remote sites) or Standard training courses run by Winger Software. (NOTE: Training courses are scheduled based on demand and are run at central locations. Winger Software can not guarantee that a training course will be run at a location near you.
