Accidental Release Measures

Personal Precautions: Large spill and leak, immediately contact safety personnel. Keep unnecessary personnel away. Use suitable protective equipment. Environmental Precautions: Avoid dispersal of spilled material and runoff and contact with soils, waterways, drains and sewers. Cleaning Up Methods: Small spills, rinse with plenty of running water. For large spills, dike spilled material or otherwise contain material to ensure runoff does not reach a waterway. Place spilled material in an appropriate container for disposal.

7.

Handling and Storage

Handling: Wear personal protective equipment when handle product. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Do not breathe vapor or mist. After handling, always wash hand and protective equipment thoroughly with soap and water. Storage: Keep container tightly closed. Keep container in a dry, cool and well ventilated area and away from incompatible materials. Do not store above 40C.

8.

Exposure Controls / Personal Protection

Engineering Controls: Provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep the air borne concentrations of vapours or aerosols below their respective occupational exposure limits. Ensure that safety shower and eye bath are close to workstation location. Personal Protection Respiratory Protection: A respirator is not needed under normal and intended conditions of product use. Wear appropriate respirator when ventilation is inadequate and occupational exposure limits are exceeded. Eye Protection: Wear safety glasses. Use chemical splash goggles. For continue or severe exposure, wear a face shield over the goggles when handling. Skin Protection: Wear safety apron, suitable protective footwear, rubber gloves or other protective equipment as necessary to prevent skin contact. Hand Protection: Use chemical resistant impervious gloves.
