PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION: B.TECH.(HONS) with FIRST CLASS from I.I.T. Kharagpur in 1957 in CIVIL ENGINEERING. M.TECH. with FIRST RANK from I.I.T. Kharagpur in 1958 in WATER RESOURCES ENGINEERING (DAM CONSTRUCTION & WATER POWER ENGINEERING) Ph.D. from Technical University, Dresden, Germany in 1962, Class awarded: VERY GOOD (MAGNA CUM LAUDE). (He Is one of the earliest Doctorates in Engineering In India) He is one of the responsible for the formation of Groundwater Department in A.P. State.

Since its inception in 2008, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been continuously making progress in teaching and R&D activities. Started with an intake of 60 students, the sanctioned intake was increased to 120 seats in 2010. As part of an Institute whose mission is to impart futuristic and comprehensive professional education of global standards with a high sense of discipline and social relevance in a serene and invigorating environment, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering attracts some of the best students and faculty. Basic Sciences & Humanities The Department of Basic Sciences and Humanities comprises four units English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Since starting the department focused imparting instruction in Basic Sciences and English Language that helps the students understand and appreciate advanced knowledge in their respective areas of specialization. In a sense the department lays firm foundation for the student in terms of academics as well as ethics. About FDP Programme The overall goal is to establish a sustainable program for assisting faculty

as they enter various career stages and seek to widen the range and scope of their work; to encourage faculty to develop new skills and approaches that push the limits of their academic disciplines and individual talents.
