3.C.1.C.1. Nominate a Soldier to serve at the BN HQ NLT 20MAY13. 3.C.1.C.2. BPT complete an ADOS packet (Appendix 2) though command channels to 55 BSTB S1 NCO if your nominated Soldier is selected NLT 24MAY13. 3.C.1.D. TASKS TO STAFF. (55 BSTB S1) receive packet, QA/QC, forward to SFC Aulisio and cc SSG Bogumil NLT 28MAY13. 3.C.1.E. COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS. 3.C.1.E.1. Units will be notified of their Soldiers selection on 21MAY13 and must submit a complete ADOS packet (Appendix 2) to 55 BSTB S1 NCO, SFC Noss. 3.C.1.E.2. Selected Soldier will serve on long-term PCS ADOS tour at the battalion until 30SEP13. 3.C.1.E.3. POCs for this task is CPT Watts. 3.C.2. Omitted 3.C.3. Omitted 3.C.4. TASK 4. Redeployment RESET Planning Workshop. (S: 24MAY13) (POC: SFC Vasicak) (C/55) 3.C.4.A. SITUATION. 28ID G4 in conjunction with PA-JFHQs/G4 will conduct a RESET Planning Workshop on 04 JUNE 2013. Participants will include 55 HBCT and 28 CAB Brigade S4, and Battalion S4 representatives from those units that are currently deployed. An audio bridge will also be available for those deployed units who wish to call in. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, 4 June 2013 from 0900 to approximately 1300 at Fort Indiantown Gap (FTIG) in building 12-140 classroom (Unit Training Equipment Site). PA RESET Project Manager will be present IOT provide the most up to date information and guidance to units in the RESET process. Units must have a clear understanding of key tasks that must be completed in theater prior to redeployment as well as upon return to CONUS. 3.C.4.B. PURPOSE. IOT provide subordinate commands with an overview of the RESET program both during deployment and redeployment. 3.C.4.C. TASKS TO UNITS. (C/55) 3.C.4.C.1. Attend the training and gain situational awareness. 3.C.4.C.2. Confirm your attendance with the POC. 3.C.4.D. TASKS TO STAFF. (55BSTB-S4) 3.C.4.D.1. Confirm BN attendance with CPT McHugh (55 ABCT aS4) NLT 28MAY13.

3.C.4.E. COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS. 3.C.4.E.1. Travel funding procedures TBP for AGR/ADOS individuals residing outside 50 mile radius from FTIG. 3.C.4.E.2. POC for this task is SFC Vasicak. 3.C.5. TASK 5. Post Traumatic Stress Survey Participation. (S: 22MAY13) (POC: SFC Gordner) (MED NCO) 3.C.5.A. SITUATION. Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) will be conducting research to identify potential genes that interact with the environmental conditions (e.g.,combat) to mediate responses to stress and which may serve as potential targets for identifying Soldiers at risk, improving Soldier resilience, and treating stress-related disorders (e.g., PTSD). USU is the Nation's federal health sciences university and serves the uniformed services and the Nation as an outstanding academic health sciences center. 3.C.5.B. PURPOSE. IOT collect DNA and complete a survey to potentially identify genetic markers regarding combat stress, mild traumatic brain injuries, and depression. 3.C.5.C. TASKS TO UNITS (Omitted) 3.C.5.E. TASKS TO STAFF. (MED NCO) 3.C.5.E.1. Coordinate directly with USU IOT facilitate the collection process and additional requirements as needed. 3.C.5.E.2. Secure a location and required equipment at FTIG in coordination with the BN OPS MSG on 28JUL13. 3.C.5.E.3. Coordinate directly with SFC Ziemba, 55 ABCT MED NCO as needed. 3.C.5.F. COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS. 3.C.5.F.1. BPT assemble in the evening of 28JUL13 for USU to collect survey data that screens for post-traumatic stress, depression, mild traumatic brain injury, and substance use issues. DNA will be collected in the form of saliva samples. The surveys and saliva samples will remain anonymous and will be matched for the presence and levels of candidate gene biomarkers. The collection/briefing process will take approximately 1 hour. Additional guidance is forthcoming. 3.C.5.F.2. Unit Commanders will ensure that all Soldiers are afforded the opportunity to attend the survey briefing. Soldiers not attending annual training or IDT during June and July, are authorized to attend a briefing in a SUTA or RMA status from 1 June to 31 July. Individual soldier participation in providing a sample is voluntary and anonymous. 3.C.5.F.3. GSA/Military vehicle usage will be maximized. 3.C.6. TASK 6. Omitted
