At fyse, we support social entrepreneurs to achieve their utmost impact.

We develop innovative solutions that enable social entrepreneurs to effectively tackle our societys most pressing social and environmental challenges while creating jobs. We take a collaborative and hands-on approach, engaging a diverse network of partners including companies, government bodies, non-profit organizations and universities. Since 2008 we have worked across ten Asian countries including Pakistan, Indonesia, India and the Philippines - gaining unique insights and connections across the region. Our current focus lies in incubating and accelerating social entrepreneurs in China. We live in extraordinary times. Our society faces social, economic and environmental challenges which require systemwide and sustainable solutions. Social entrepreneurs can provide those solutions, if they are given the tools, training, and resources to ensure that their innovative approaches are scaled up to have the greatest possible impact. Social entrepreneurs are working to create a better future. The power of their vision is inspiring, their optimism infectious, their practicality confidence-building, and their commitment to continually act in the service of others humbling.

Research | Our research provides expert analysis about social entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education. Latest Publication: China Social Enterprise Report (2012) Capacity-Building Initiatives | Social entrepreneurs dont act in a vacuum; it takes a vast community of stakeholders to start up and scale up solutions to our most pressing social and environmental challenges. FYSE supports individual high-potential social entrepreneurs and connects them to a wide network of peers, professionals, organizations and companies to help them achieve success. Consulting | We work with investors, companies and foundations interested in engaging with social entrepreneurs in China, as well as with universities and schools to incorporate entrepreneurship education into their curriculum. Furthermore, we assist social enterprises and nonprofits to develop, improve and scale social enterprise activities. Building Bridges | Social entrepreneurs possess unique experiences and insights into not just local and global social and environmental challenges but also solutions to those challenges. FYSE connects professionals, students, companies and social innovators with social entrepreneurs to tap into these unique insights, enabling them to avoid duplicating inefficiencies and to speed up development. Social Entrepreneurship Education| FYSE provides training on entrepreneurship education and service learning to faculties of schools and universities across China. Teachers are empowered to provide entrepreneurship education to thousands of their students, creating buzz and excitement about entrepreneurship as a career choice, while training students on critical employability skills like creativity and critical thinking.

Social Enterprise Incubator | Launched in 2012, women validate their business ideas and kickstart their social enterprise during the one year incubator. Social Enterprise Immersion Program | The program offers companies, universities and schools a invaluable opportunity to learn more about sustainable development, social innovation and social entrepreneurship in China by meeting those immersed in the field. China Social Leadership Program | A modular program with the mission to empower the next generation of social leaders to effectively lead their organizations. The program develops emerging leaders within social organizations in China through coaching, leadership training and peer-learning. Springboard | A bespoke social innovation program that convenes the brightest women from the social, private and public sectors and through experiential learning equips them with the confidence, skills and community to address societal challenges in the 21st century. Women in Social Enterprise Conference | The brightest women from the social, private and public sector convene to build a supportive network that enables them to collaboratively implement and scale entrepreneurial approaches and innovative solutions to the most pressing social and environmental challenges of today. In 2013 WISE is offered in China, Singapore and Myanmar. China Social Enterprise Report | Responding to a dearth of information on the state and impact of social entrepreneurship in China published the China Social Enterprise Report in August 2012, providing for the first time key insights about the scale, performance and challenges of the sector.
