night, I would like to inform you sth in connection
with my offer,namely teaching English in
Pontianak, Indonesia. I indeed need your help.
First of all, I would like to tell you something
about my family. I come from teacher family. My
father is a retired teacher. He used to teach
English at senior High School I in Pontianak. He has
got wife who used to be her student when she
studied at junior High School in Pontianak. My
father’s name is Gery Adi Wagiman. He is 73 years
old. My parents have got five children. They are
Adi Mursalin, Titik Rosnani, Agus Sobirin,
Trisnawati, and Ibnu Mustopa. All of my father’s
children are teachers, except trisnawati.she is a
dentist. I am the first oldest brother in my family. I
am a lecturer. I lecture on Marketing and English in
University of Panca Bhakti . My second eldest
sister in my family is Titik Rosnani.she is also a
lecturer in Tanjungpura University. She lectures on
Human resources management.Her husband is
unemployed.he is an engineer. My third eldest
brother is Agus Sobirin. He is a teacher of
English.He teaches at Junior High School in
Pontianak. His wife is also a teacher of English at
Junior High school in Pontianak. My fourth eldest
sister is trisnawati is a dentist.Her husband is also
a dentist. They work for the Health Agency in
Pontianak.They are civil servants. My youngest
brother is Ibnu Mustofa. He is a teacher of English
at Junior High School.His wife is also a teacher of
English at Senior High School in Pontianak.
Referring to my family background, I decide to run
an English course in Pontianak because the
members of my family are teachers of English. My
English course is named “COMMUNICATIVE
ENGLISH COURSE”. THIS English course is run to
make the students able to communicate with the
native speakers in English. We stress our English
course on speaking. There are a lot of students
studying English at Communicative English Course.
They come from different education backgrounds.
They are from elementary school, junior high
school, senior high school, and university or
college,as well as employees.

To make my English course better and better, we

need a native speaker to teach English here. I
would like to request for your help to teach English
here in Pontianak. What you should do is teaching
English. Perhaps you teach the students of Junior
High school, senior high school, or even university
students and employees who work for government
office and company in Pontianak. I think you can
have some English books there that can be used to
teach English here.

Talking about the money, I will inform you that

there is a big difference in the standard salary or
wage between Indonesia and Australia or even
difference between Bali and Pontianak.

As an illustration, I will give you an example of the

fee that will be given to you

Suppose you teach a class of 20 students. Each

student should pay Rp.150,000.00. So, we will get
Rp.3,000,000.00. You will get 60% of the fees paid
by the student. So, you will get Rp.1,800,000.00
for one class a month . And this is regular class.
There is the different treatment for private class
or package class in paying the tuition fee. The
private class can consist of two up to five people.
The fee fixed is different from the regular class.
You also will get 60% of the fee paid.

When you have a good and strong will to teach in

Pontianak ontianak. I will have a plan to write a
proposal sent to the offices and companies in
Pontianak. For a month I will set a fee at
Rp.1,200,000 per group teaching in a company or
in an office. You only teach twice for one group.
You will also get 60% of the fee paid by the office
or company, it is called package class or private
class.

So, the fee you are going to get depends on the

number of the students in regular class. It is
different from the package class. What do you
think?
You can also give TOEFL Training. We can set a fee
at Rp.350,000 per person. You will also get 60% of
the fee paid by the students.

In connection with the accomodation, you can stay

at my house. You can have some food together
with my family. But, I must teach you Indonesian
language first. I am ready to teach you Indonesian
language.

If you want to help me teach English at my

campus. The fee is paid based on the credit of the
subjects. I am paid Rp.25,000 per credit. English
has two credits. So, I am paid Rp.50,000.00

I would also like to tell you that Pontianak is the

hottest City in Indonesia. It lies on the equatorial
line. Pontianak is different from Bali. Pontianak is
a trade city. Many Chinese live in Pontianak. They
are merchants.

Well, that’s all. I am very glad that we can be good

friends and I hope our friendship can last forever
and forever. I used to put up seven American
students at my house for two months. Thank you
