A. Why are you interested in this internship position at MoMA.

First of all there are many reasons someone want to work at MoMA. Is a museum worldwide known with a variety of permanent and temporary exhibitions. Exploring the art through MoMA is an opportunity to see the art from a different perspective because you see it from the perspective of great and famous artists. Also all the exhibitions have their influence from our daily life and we can feel the artist when he decided to depict that moment. Photography and filming are my passions and working at a place like this is a an opportunity to come closer to what I like and admire. As well am interested in architecture and in the idea to make a building worth as a work of art. Also I am a big museum fan and dont miss a chance to visit a museum in every place happen to be. I have visited a lot of famous museum such as Luvre, British museum and many other. Also Greece is an entire museum and you have a chance to visit and admire many places with an archeological interest. This is the reason to want to work at MoMA. Working in a place full of art gives you a different motive for the life and new ideas to insert to your way of living. Furthermore, working in a beautiful place gives you energy for the rest of day. I like the cooperation with other people because through cooperation you become a better person and you can improve your life. Thats the reasons interested in this internship position.

B. What is the role of museums and how do you envision their potential for evolution.

Museums take a big part and role not in our life. Is not only a place we can visit and see a culture or a civilization but also can motivate us for our daily life. In a museum we can admire the evolution of people though history and their efforts to evolve art, technology and also the way of thinking and living. These feelings and ideas wake up when you enter in a museum. You have to enter in the mentality of the era the exhibit manufactured and the ideas the artist had. This gives you the motive wake up your brain and make him think. A visit in a museum is an subconscious education, a lesson for our life an opportunity to see the things with a different mind, an opportunity to broaden our horizons. As well the museum offers us a chance to meet different civilizations from all over the world and all that in only one place. So someone has the opportunity to contact with the culture of civilizations disappeared or live far away from their country and maybe never have the chance to travel there. Nevertheless the museums not must remain in the exhibitions they have because this have as a result to become obsolete. The rhythm of living nowadays is different and also the way of living have changed. The museums are obligated to follow that evolution and evolve. This is the way to remain as point of interest and a must see when a visitor comes to a town. The evolution of technology is a tool to make museums much better. Interactivity is a mean to make a visit in a museum much more adventurous and a day to remember. Also collaborations through the museums with exhibitions that pull the interest are a key to make someone visit the museum. Finally, I would like to add the importance of focusing the museums at the daily life of the people. Must separate the real needs of the people and give them what they want to see. Some dusted portraits never can speak to the heart of the visitor and make him think and as a result lose the interest for the museum and his purpose.
