I was recruited as pre-opening General Manager at the early stage of construction having direct input in the development and design of key operational facilities and areas. Reporting directly to the owner and my initial responsibilities were to liaise regularly with contractors, architects, interior designers and project managers to ensure quality standards are incorporated for possible and future branding options. This all suite, river facing resort with a small splash pool & stunning landscaped gardens ensuring pure tranquility, privacy with a spectacular white sand beach providing the main ingredients in making this a class leading resort in the area. Other responsibilities were to ensure all pre-opening tasks of the resort were executed to include positioning the resort, trade show participation, negotiate tour operator contracts, pre and post sales, marketing, PR and advertising initiatives, selection and purchasing of all SOE items, compiling of all SOPs, senior recruitment, including the
