Warm UP: Describe the following pictures. They are books. As from what you see, say what do you think they are about?

Read the text. Dont concentrate on the vocabulary Look for phrasal verbs. State the meaning using dictionary Solve exercise 3a. Page 66 Now, lets work with the vocabulary. Look up those words are not familiar to you. Work with a monolingual dictionary. Give synonyms or similar expressions in order to understand the real meaning.

5. Field of science: Reading and Vocabulary a. Answer the following questions. `Four popular Science Books i. Describe briefly one of the three books from the lecture. Refer to, what is the book about? What is this based on? Why did the author write it? etc. (In the Blood The Human Face Brain Story ) ii. The Language Instinct: What is this book about? Do you think it is useful to non-native speakers? Why?

IV YEAR UNIT 3 DANGEROUS GAMES LESSON: Its like a drug (Jades Story)

Warm UP: WORK IN PAIRS Write a paragraph (50 words) describing the pictures. Refer to: What do they have in common? What is happening? Is it a real /ordinary and daily situation? Why?

Read the text. Dont concentrate on the vocabulary Answer the following questions: o Is the paragraph you wrote related to the lesson? Why? In what sense? o Who are the protagonists of the lesson? Lets characterize them. o Speak about how do they act? What is the main conflict? Is there any resolution? o From a feminine aspect: What would you do in Jades position? o From a masculine aspect: What would you do in Sams position? Now, lets work with the vocabulary. Look up those words are not familiar to you. Give synonyms or similar expressions in order to understand the real meaning. But DONT EXPLAIN THEM IN SPANISH. That will help you to get acquainted with new vocabulary. Right away work with SPEAKING SECTION: Solve exercises 4A Homework - Do exercises: 1 2A 2B

III YEAR UNIT 5 THE SPACE RADE LESSON: Invader from outer space Warm UP: Oral Activity Answer the following questions. o Would you like to travel to another planet? Why? Why not? o Do you think people will have holidays on other planets in the future? Why?

Read the text. Lets build the vocabulary. Remember you have to work with dictionaries. Change the title of the lesson. Give also reasons for this changing. Lets provide a headline to each of the paragraphs. Summarize the 10 main events about the lesson. Remember to include only the most important details about it. It is not necessary to include names or dates; events are the core of a lesson.
