Features of Cast Steel SWING CHECK VALVE Cast steel body & bonnet. Bolted bonnet. For horizontal and upward horizontal flow of fluid. Unidirectional flow. Size range: NPS 2 up to NPS 48. DN50 up to DN1200. Pressure rating: ASME class 150 up to 2500. Connection: RF flange, RTJ flange, Butt Weld ends (for Long Pattern). Connection: Butt Weld ends (for Short Pattern). Option of Drain connection as per customer request. NACE service either MR-01-75 or MR-01-03. Low fugitive emssions control. Design standards: API 6D and ASME B16.34. Tested to API 598 and ASME B16.34. Flange dimensions as per ASME B16.5 for sizes up to NPS 24. Flange dimensions as per ASME B16.47 Series A for sizes NPS 26 and larger. Series B are available upon request. Face-to-face and end-to-end dimensions as per ASME B16.10. Welding ends dimensions as per ASME B16.25.

1) Body to Cover Joint, designed to apply a uniform load to the gasket to assure a leak proof seal. 2) Disc to Hanger connection, allows the disc a controlled movement, independent of the hanger to assure proper disc alignment with the seat at closure. 3) Connection is secured by a Disc Nut to prevent disassembly due to vibration and closure impact. 4) Stellite Seat Ring, provides increased resistance to wear abrasion and erosion of the sealing surface. 5) Cover lug. for easy handling and installation. 6) Body, with heavy wall thickness as per ASME B16.34 for maximum service life.
