Classic knits is one of the few completely backward integrated entities in the garments industry with cotton cultivation to GINNING, SPINNING, and KNITTING, DYEING, FINISHING, AND GARMENTING INFRASTURACTURE. Classic knits now deals with all kinds of textiles such as 100% cotton, 100% mercerized, poly/cotton blended, cotton/rayon blended, linen/cotton blended, spandex, hydrotec, polyester and premium knits such as micro cross, waffles, square, structures, interlock knit and so on. More than 3500 well trained employees take care of the capacity requirements. VISION Classic knits core values are centered on maintaining the highest standards of ethics and business practices in order to achieve the overall objective of being a global player, through the relentless pursuit of perfection GINNING This unit segregates the cotton seeds and good quality cotton separately from the cotton lint. Ginning division has 52 automated gins with a production capacity of 500 bales/day with an average weight of 170KGS/bale. BALKAN GINNING (MODERN GINNING) Imported roller ginning machines from Balkan textile and cotton ginning machinery ltd. Turkey which is one of its kinds in India and has the capacity to gin 500 bales/day of 220 kgs each. SPINNING Ginned cotton is converted into spun yarn in this unit. KNITTING The knitting division has 19 circular knitting machines of Mayer& Cie from Germany, with a production capacity 6 tons/day. DYE HOUSE The knitted fabrics are then delivered to the associated dye house where non-riding processing. CUTTING CNC CUTTING (GERBER-USA) The cutting department is equipped with latest CNC CUTTING machines from Gerber, USA and fabric spreading machines from Gerber, USA it is also equipped with state-of-the art CAD system with Gerber software to get the exact consumption data from the marker. CHEST PRINTING The printing division is also been equipped with automatic chest printing machine from M&R, U.S.A for chest prints, with 60,000 prints/day. SEWING UNIT Our sewing division is equipped with 2200 machine collectively imported from Pegasus, Yamato, and Durokopp Adler & Siruba. GREEN ENERGY Classic knits have installed 4 WINDMILLS of total 3.00MW capacity taking care of entire power requirements of the group cost of RS.160 MILLION.
