Faith Toward God

Heb 11:1, 6; Heb 6:1 Heb 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God Faith is a unilateral spiritual force. It must always be directed toward God alone, not Man, not things. It is faith in God that changes both Man and things, not faith in things, systems or people. Faith in things, systems and people can fail, but faith in God can never fail. In Mark 11:22-23, Jesus says: Have faith IN God., and then He goes on to say: For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. According to the foregoing, it is faith in God that overturns a mountain from its foundation and hurls it into the sea. Things are changed by our faith in God, not in things. The Word of God is the Parent Material from which all things were made. It is only faith in God's Word that can create and recreate the things your heart truly desires. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:3). Jesus Christ, the Living Word, is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Our faith begins and ends with Him. If it does not begin with Him, it cannot finish with Him. Beloved, we are to look to Jesus, The Living Word, and not to things; not to people; not to systems or institutions of men, but unto God. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Pro3:5-7; Rom 4:17-22; Heb 12:2

My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I put my trust in You absolutely and whole- heartedly. I know You are working all things out for my ultimate good and pleasure. Thank You for my faith in You will never be let down, in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Why Faith?
Heb 11:6; Eph 2:8-9 Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. To the Believer, faith is so important that it cannot be over-emphasized. It is the hub of the Christian life; the centrality of our walk with God. Everything that pertains to life and destiny swings on the hinges of faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. But without faith it is impossible to please him (Heb 11:6). Nothing else pleases God apart from faith. For we walk by faith, not by sight (2Cor 5:7). A walk is a series of steps taken in the direction of progress. Faith is our progressive advancement. It is our victorious procession, without which there is no visible progress with and in God. .for, The just shall live by faith (Gal 3:11). The Believer, who was justified by faith, shall live by faith. Faith is our life. There is no other life worth living for the Believer other than the life of faith. Faith is our sure access to grace. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Rom 5:2). God's grace always answers to faith. Faith is our unshaking stability. For by faith ye stand (2 Cor 1:24). By faith we are anchored on Christ, the Solid Rock. Nothing moves faith because it is the mover of all things. In view of the above facts, it is evident that faith is the oxygen of the Believer without which there is no life. It is our vital leverage. Our life is that of faith. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Heb 11:1-3; Hab 2:4b; Heb 10:35-39; Rom 1:16b My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I thank You for revealing to me the importance of faith. I thank You for showing me how much my faith in You is worth, how much it can accomplish and how far it can go. I declare that I live by faith in Your Word, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

The Measure of Faith

Rom 12:3; 2 Thess 3:2; Rom 10:17 Rom 12:3 ..according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. It is of paramount importance for the Believer in Christ to know that God has dealt to every Man the measure of faith. It is 'the' measure of faith, not 'a' measure of faith. Every child of God has the measure of faith. At New Birth, the Believer receives the measure of faith that is of the God-kind. No one child of God receives a measure of faith better and greater than the other, for it is the same Word of God that saves all. Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The Word of God is the substance of faith, for faith comes by hearing it. It therefore follows that the faith that first came to the Believer for salvation was of the Word of God. It is known as the measure of faith. It is the same in measure across board. It is also known as the saving faith, that is, the faith that brought salvation. Not all men have this kind of faith; for all men have not faith. (2 Thess 3:2), for not all men have received the Word of God that imparts this measure of faith. However, everyone who is born again has the measure of this faith, which is of the kind that God possesses. This is the principle of equality of faith. Nevertheless, though the principle of equality of faith levels all up at New Birth, yet the eventual development of faith is a personal responsibility of the Believer which predicates upon commitment to hearing and doing God's Word. The Believer is responsible for whatever the measure of faith becomes after New Birth. Other Scriptures for Meditation: 2 Pet 3:18; 1 Pet 2:2; Eph 4:13-15; Pro 4:20-23; Josh 1:8 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I thank You for the measure of faith. I commit myself to feeding upon Your Word so my faith can develop. I take this noble responsibility to always challenge my faith to grow as I meditate and act upon Your Word. I declare that I live by faith in Your Word, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

God is Love
1 John 4:78; 1 John 4:16; Eph 3:19; 2 Cor 13:1 1 John 4:7-8 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is Love. The God nature is the Love nature. Love is the most significant quality and attribute of God; the core and the very essence of His being; it is who God is. That is why 1 John 4:8 says God is Love. Just as much as the nature of a thing or a being defines its characteristics and attributes, Love is the definition of God's character; it defines every other thing about Him. Everything God does and everything God is stems from His Love nature. The reason behind all of God's actions, all of God's Word, all of God's principles is His Love nature. In Exodus 34:6, God revealed himself to Moses: And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering and abundant in goodness and truth. Note the words God used to describe Himself, merciful, gracious, long suffering and abundant in goodness and truth; all these words reflect God's Love nature. God doesn't just show mercy, He is merciful, He is gracious, He is longsuffering, and He is abundant in goodness and truth. By nature this is who God is. Love is His nature. Love is not something that God feels when He is pleased, God is a Love Being. His life is a Love Life, His words are Love Words. Love is God's way of doing things; Love is God's reason for doing what He does; Love is the easiest and natural thing for God to do. Renew your mind to this truth constantly. God is not a bad tempered, furious and angry God as many have portrayed Him. He is a Love God full of compassion towards His children and the entire world. Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 John 3:1; Eph 2:4; 1 John 4:1-16; Rom 5:8; Eph 5:2 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I believe that You are a Love God and that Your Love for me can never change. I believe in Your Love and I respond also to You in Love today and always; thank You Lord, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

Love: Our New Nature

1John 3:14; Matt 5:44-48; Eph 5:1-2 1 John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Love is the significant proof of the essence of the God kind of life. Every kind of life has its own nature that defines its peculiar characteristics. The opening Scripture reveals that Love is the substance of the God-kind of life. You cannot possess eternal life and not have the Love nature. The God-kind of life produces the Love nature. In John 5:24-26 Jesus said Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself. According to the above Scripture, every one who believes has Everlasting Life. Note that Jesus did not say 'will have' but he said 'has'. It means every Believer has Eternal Life right now. Verse 26 clearly reveals that this Life is of the Father. If you are a Believer, you have the God-kind of Life in you right from the very moment you confessed Jesus as Lord. No wonder the Scriptures say in 1 John 4:4 that we are of God. Love is the very essence of the New Man in Christ. The New Man has the capacity to walk in love because love is his nature, he is fundamentally and essentially a Love being. Are you born again? If yes, then the good news is that, Love is your nature. You are a Love being as much as God is because you have that same Life that He has. You can love like God does; you can be as merciful, as gracious and long suffering as He is. It is not a feeling, it is who you are. It is your inherent and permanent nature and you must wake up to this reality every day of your life.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 John 5:1-13, 1 Cor 13:1-8a; Rom 5:5; Rom 12:9-10; Rom 13:8; Zeph 3:17

My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I confess that I have passed from death unto life because I have received Your Love nature; I am a Love Child of the Love God. God's Love is shed abroad in my heart and it flows to bring life to everyone that comes in contact with me in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

The God-Kind of Love

1 Cor 13:1-8; Eph 5:1-2 1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

There are a number of Greek words interpreted as Love in the Bible: 'Phileo' 'Philadephia' and 'Agape'. Phileo means to be fond of or to have affection for something or someone, denoting personal attachment, as a matter of sentiment or feeling. Philadelphia means brotherly love, a sense of kinship with another, while Agape is the God-kind of love. God wants us to have Philadelphia towards other believers. But Phileo and Philadelphia are natural human love. They are limited. However, Agape is divine Love is limitless. It is the fruit of the God-kind of Life. It is only the Possessor of God's life who can demonstrate Agape because it is supernatural kind of Love. In Ephesians 3:18 Paul prayed for the Ephesians that they . May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God. Walking in the God-kind of Love requires the knowledge of God's Word. It is the Word of God that enlightens us in the realm of the God-kind of love. You must desire the knowledge of God's Word to be skillful in your walk of love. From God's Word, we can learn exactly what the Love of God is apart from what it is not. Make a commitment to study God's Word about His Word and His Word will lighten your understanding of the God-kind of love.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Matt 5:31-48, Eph 4:1-3; John 13:34-35; John 14:21, 23; John 15:17 My Solid Front (Confession)
Heavenly Father, I thank You because, by the Holy Spirit You have shed Your kind of Love abroad in my heart. I understand the breadth, the length, the depth and the height of your Love in Jesus Name. Amen.

Correct Response to God's Word

2 Cor 5:7; Rom 10:8, 17; Luke 1:26-38 Luk 1:38 And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from her. Having heard God's Word, this question is often asked: what do I do with what I have heard? The response to the question is FAITH- to believe God's Word. Our response ought to be Mary-like, 'be it unto me according to Your Word'. That was Mary's response to God's Word spoken to her. Though what God said to her was out of place in the natural order, yet she believed God by coming to terms with Him. She received God's Word as her final authority; her present hour reality. By doing this, she pleased God (Heb 11:6). Beloved, this is the sure way to enjoy the fulfilment of God's Word in your life. Remember, we (the Just) live by faith, and we walk by faith. (Rom1:17; 2 Cor 5:7). Your correct response to God's Word will guarantee the flow of His grace in your direction. Mary, the mother of Jesus, in Luke 1:38 displayed an amazing response to God's Word. She, having not seen anything done to anyone before her of that spoken by God to her, yet believed God. At the very moment she believed God, she received power to conceive Jesus in her womb. The Holy Spirit moved upon her and there was a performance of what was told her of the Lord. Beloved, you too can conceive to birth every Word God has spoken to you. All you have to do is to respond with your heart in faith and put His Word in your mouth, accepting it as your present hour reality. Let your heart settle down with His Word. Come to rest by His Word. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Heb 11:1-6; Matt 8:5-10, 13; 1 Kings 17:9-16; Mark 7:27-30; 2 Cor 4:13 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, right now I respond correctly to Your Word in faith. I walk by faith in all I do, believing Your Word and accepting it as the final authority in my life in Jesus Name. AMEN.

Love is the greatest!

1 Cor 13:13; Col 3:14; Eph 4:16 1 Cor 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. Love is the Ultimate to which other things are penultimate. Everything you do in Gods kingdom only makes sense and attracts rewards if it is done in Love. Whatever is not of Love has no value to God. The value of your faith and your labour is the Love that motivates them. See what the Scripture says in 1 Cor 13:1-3 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. Think about the foregoing. Gifts of the Spirit, faith and even charitable deeds have no value without Love. Little wonder, 1 Cor 13:13 says: the greatest of these is Love. Love indeed is the greatest. Because Love is this important, we must give it more attention in our daily life. God's kind of Love serves humanity heartily. You don't truly love people if you don't serve them. Love is selfless, always desiring to see the prosperity of other people and going all the way to making life better for them. Gal 5:13 says but by love serve one another and Luke 22:26 but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. Can you see that greatness in God's kingdom is attached to service done by Love? Greatness in God's kingdom is measured by service rendered to people in Love. Not only is love the greatest, it also has the capacity to make you great in God's Kingdom. Put premium on your Love walk; invest time confessing and meditating on Love till you are saturated with it. To gain mastery in your Love walk is the most Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 Cor 13:1-13; 1 Cor 16:14; 2 Thess 1:3; 1 Tim 1:5; 1 Pet 4:8 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, Your Love in me serves others, I seek to bless others with my resources, my words and my actions are constantly Love motivated in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

The Rule of Love

John 13:34; John 15:12; Romans 13:10 John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. As Jesus began to prepare to go back to the Father, He gave to us a New Commandment as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. This is the rule for life. You can never be wrong walking in Love towards people. A lot of people talk about having principles and they try to use their principles to judge what is right or wrong. Nonetheless, you see, Love is God's principle when dealing with people (Please, note that Agape- the God-kind of Love is the subject matter in context). If we use Love all the time to decide how to relate with people, we would be right all of the time. In Philippians 1:9-10 the Scripture says And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; that ye may approve things that are excellent Love is always an excellent choice. When we apply Love as the rule in our relationship with others, we make the right decisions. Don't follow your feelings or your head, follow the law of Love and you will make right decisions about the people you relate with. Do you want a good relationship with people especially the people closest to you? Let Love be the rule. Love will not insist on its own way, Love is not rude, Love is patient and kind, Love suffers long, Love forgives, Love in honour prefers the other person. Love is considerate. How would my partner feel about my actions? What impact would my words have on other people? These are the vital questions Love always asks. Love people as Christ has loved you. In the kingdom of God our rule of law is the rule of Love. You can never be wrong walking in Love. Let Love be your motivation and principle by which you live your life. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom 8:35-39; Jam 2:1-26; Rom 12:9-10; Rom 13:8-10 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, thank You for the grace to Love people the way You have loved me. In honour I prefer people; I esteem people better than myself and I am quick to forgive. I keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

January 10

The Word is Your Life

Matt 4:4; Psa 16:8 Matt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. The Bible declares that we live by the Word of God. It therefore follows that God's Word is our life. You see, we were born of God's Word to live by the same Word that sourced us. We are offsprings of the Word of God. To make the Word of God work for you, you have to come to the place of total acceptance that the Word of God is your life. This is a place where you are configured by the Word to function by it. Your understanding is shaped and paced by the Word of God. The Word has become an indispensable part of your daily living. This is what the psalmist opined in Psalm 16:8 I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. The right hand is the place of authority, such that the Word is now your only and final authority; you are not going to change your mind about it 'I shall not be moved'. Beloved, let the Word give you a mindset. Let the Word pace your goings. Give the Word right of way. How? In your daily affairs, let the Word guide you. Feed on it by meditating on it so much that your thoughts and actions are the overflow of God's Word in your spirit. In Christ Jesus, we do things not because they are in vogue but because the Word says to do them. Decide to deliberately meditate on God's Word constantly and it will make all the difference in your life. Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 1:1-14; Josh 1:8; Pro 4:20-22; Psalm 119, 9, 11, 97, 105; James 1: 22-25 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I give Your Word first place in my life, I meditate in your Word day and night till it becomes my way of thinking. Thank you because your Word is at work in me both to will and to do of your good pleasure, in Jesus Name. Amen.

January 11

Have You Not Read?

1 Tim 4:13; Josh 1:8; Ps 119:97; Ps 1:1-3 1Tim. 4:13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Meditation starts with reading. Some Christian folks are too quick to jump into conclusions from Scriptures when they have not even gathered enough facts from what the Word of God presents. Spending qualitative time reading God's Word is necessary for qualitative meditation. A good student of the Bible must be studious when it comes to reading God's Word, so as to have what to meditate on. To read God's Word is to run through all the facts the Word presents to us. We consider who said what, when it was said, how it was said, where it was said and to whom it was said. In reading God's Word, we consider what God says and what He does not say.In meditation, it is important to first of all gather the facts and also read in context, so Scriptures can be compared with Scriptures. People who do not take time to read make mistakes, because they do not have a rounded understanding of what the Bible says about such subject matters. There are different ways of reading the Bible; it can be topical reading; for instance what does the Bible say about the topic or subject of prayer? Or it could be character reading; that is, gathering facts about the lives of Bible Characters, for example Moses David, Esther etc. It could also be book reading of the Bible, for example the book of Isaiah, Matthew, Revelation etc. Learn to read out loud God's Word, for faith comes by hearing (audible hearing) God's Word (Rom 10:17).Gathering facts is an important part of meditation. Please, give attention to reading God's Word. Utilize the methods of reading God's Word mentioned above and do it consistently. Do not err, my beloved brethren (James 1:16) Meditation Scriptures: Pro 4:20-22; 1 Tim 4:1315; 2 Tim 2:15; Ps 119:130; Col 3:16 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I receive grace to give attention to Your Word, to consistently read and meditate on Your Word till it dwells in me richly in Jesus Name! Amen!

The Classroom of the Holy Ghost

1 Timothy 4:15, Joshua 1:8 Jos 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. The Holy Spirit is one who brings the realities of the Word of God to us; He ministers the understanding of God's Word to us. Meditation is the classroom of the Holy Ghost; this is where he fulfills his primary role as the Revealer. God's Word is not like reading an article from the newspapers and so should not be treated as such. To truly understand God's Word, you have to know the Spirit of God. Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Col 1:25-27) The Word of God is a mystery but not unto Believers. Only those that have the Spirit of God in them can truly understand the Word of God. The scripture says The natural man receiveth not the things of God for they are foolishness unto him (1 Cor 2:14) This reveals the importance of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Believer. You give the Holy Spirit room to fulfill his teaching ministry in the place of meditation. Set aside quality time daily to meditate on the Word of God; by so doing the Word of God will be made so plain to you. It is at this point that you can then begin to act on God's Word consciously i.e. observing to do as it is written therein. (Jos 1:8)

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Pro 4:20-22; 1 Tim 4:1315; 2 Tim 2:15; Ps 119:130; Col 3:16

My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I receive grace to give attention to Your Word, to consistently and thoughtfully read and meditate on your Word until it dwells in me richly, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

ZOE - The Life of God

Rom 6:23; 1 John 5:11-13 Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 John 5:11 And this is the record that God has given to us eternal life and this life is in his Son. The very day you confessed Jesus as your Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you received, right there and then, the gift of eternal life into your spirit. Zoe is the very life of God; it is God's own nature; it is eternal life. Eternal life is life as God has it. It is life in the nature and class of God. It is life as the Son of God and as everyone in Him, have it. Eternal life is not just longevity of life, as in everlasting life. It first and foremost reveals a quality of life before it stresses on quantity. It is not so much of giving up your old life as much as it is receiving the life of God. There is no special qualification required to receive eternal life, other than faith in God through Jesus Christ, the Lord. There is no price tag on it, for it is strictly a gift of God to everyone who believes. The gift is available to anyone and everyone who receives Jesus as their Lord. The moment anyone receives Jesus as his Lord and Saviour, he becomes a possessor of eternal life. 1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God that ye know that ye have eternal life.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 1:1-4; John 3:16; 2Cor 5:17; John 6:68; John 10:28. My Solid Front (Confession) Thank you Father, for giving unto me Your very own Life. Now I have received the life of God through faith in Your Son, Jesus Christ. AMEN.

The Reason for Zoe

Gen 2:17; John 10:10 John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Gen 2:17 The very day you eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil thou shalt surely die. God, having created all things, made man the king of His creation. He gave man the fruits of the earth to enjoy by way of demonstrating His love to him. God also did want man to reciprocate His revealed love. He gave man commandment not to eat of the fruits of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Man fell by transgressing the commandment of God. He breached the trust of God by a deliberate act of disobedience. The consequence of the disobedience was death. Death is not cessation of life, but separation from life. Life is not just existence, but a form of existence; a nature. Life is as much a nature as death. Death is the consequence of sin. Man did not immediately drop dead like a log of wood the moment he ate the fruit, instead he dropped into a lower quality of life characterized by fear, shame, insecurity, vulnerability, sin and other characteristics of the natural life. In other words, he was separated from the Life of God which is characterized by dominion. In fact he took on the devil's nature and he became subject to the devil, to sicknesses and to death. Man became a bonafide child of the devil (1John 3:9-10). John 8:44 You are of your father the devil and the desires of your father you will always do John 10:10 . I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly. The solution to man's state is a New Creation, not a new reformation. He needed to be born again with a new nature that is of the God-kind. He needed to receive eternal life; the life of God. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom. 5:12-17; John 17:2-3; Rom. 5:21; Titus 1:2; 1 John 5:11-12 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You that I have been redeemed from corruption; I have the super abundant life which manifests in my finances, in my health, in my ministry and in my career. Therefore, I declare that there is no lack in my life, in Jesus Name. 8

Eternal Life God's Own Nature

2 Pet 1:1-4; John 10:28; 1 John 5:13 2 Pet. 1:4 Whereby are we given unto us exceedingly great & precious promises; that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. Eternal life is the nature of God. It comes with all the attributes and possibilities of divinity. It is God's ability to live like Him in all the many sidedness of the divine life. It is living life at the level and quality of divinity. When we became born again, we received the nature of God into our spirit. We became partakers of the divine nature. It came with all God is and can do. Salvation is not conversion; it's not renovation; it's not conformation. It is New Birth. It is a spiritual, biological, genetic reality. Everything reproduces after its own kind. When we became born again, we were reproduced after His kind (nature) in the New Creation. The Word declares, Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a New Creation, old things are passed away behold all things have become new. And all these (new) things are of God.2 Cor. 5:17-18. At New Birth, Deity became wrapped up in humanity. The New Birth is the possibility of divinity and humanity fellowshipping in a homogeneous, organic oneness. The frailty of the human life can now be overwhelmed by the divine life. Every defect and deficiency of the natural life can now be overcome by the superior realities of the divine Life. Beloved, you must train yourself to take your reference point from your divine nature, and not the weaknesses of the natural human life. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Gen 1:26-28; 1 John 4:4; John 1:12-13; 1 Pet 1:23; Titus 3:5 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I thank You that I express all the possibilities of the divine nature. I am a New Creation and all things in me are of You. Old things are passed away in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

The Integrity of God's Word

1 John 1:1; John 10:35; Num 23:19 Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

God's Word is infallible because He is infallible. The integrity of God's Word is predicated upon His flawless integrity. God and His Word are one. God's Word is as potent and reliable as Himself. God's Word is not some theory or concept that fades out or becomes obsolete with time. God's Word is eternal; though timeless, yet very much timely. However, it is not limited by time. The Word of God is always true and does not change. It is not circumstantial; it is universal. It is not relative; it is absolute. The integrity of God's Word simply means: God's intent, will or purpose revealed through His Word. He will not say one thing and mean or do another. He cannot deny Himself; He is so faithful that you can bank on His Word. God is credible. Our confidence in the integrity of God's Word is born out of faith in the person of God. God is truthful, righteous and holy, and so is His Word. We can depend on God's Word as much as we can depend on God. When we come to this understanding, it becomes easier to accept God's Word for what it is and function by it in our daily living. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Ps 119:89; Heb 10:22-23, 1 Thess 5:24; 2 Tim 2:13; John 17:17

My Solid Front (Confession) My God is true, faithful and holy and so is His Word. God is one with his Word and because God cannot fail, His Word to me cannot fail. Thank You, my Father, for Your faithfulness is revealed to me abundantly. Amen.

Divine Creativity
Gen 1:1-3, 2:19-20; Mark 11: 12-14, 20-24; 2 Pet 1:4 2 Tim 1:6-8 For this reason, I am reminding you to fan the flame, the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands For One of the first manifestations of the divine nature is creativity. To become a partaker of the divine nature is to share in the creative ability of divinity. Man, by virtue of the New Birth, is a partaker of the creative life of God. Man, in the beginning, expressed creativity when he named every created animal. Jesus manifested this aspect of the divine nature when He cursed the fig tree. The fig tree dried up to its root. He further stated that anybody with the God Kind of Faith could do the same. Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith. With the creative life of God in us, we can create the world of our dream through the spoken Word. Our words are creative. Our words are kingly. Our world ought not be full of darkness and gloom because we are vessels of the creative life of God. The same way God said: let there be light, and light was, we can command in the same manner and get awesome results. We have the God-kind of Faith, and we can create our world by speaking the Word of God. Within us lie the solutions to daunting challenges in our world. Innovations that will develop our economies, families and governments are products of this creative life, which is inherent in us. In him was life and the life was the light of men John 1:4. Light stands for progress, advancement, innovation, creativity and proactivity. Whatever we are involved in ought to be different because the creative life of God is in us. Therefore, dare to stand out in your endeavour for the glory of God. Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 1:1-4; 1 John 1:1-2; Matt 5:14-16; 1 Cor 2:7-10; Isa 60:1-3, 15 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I thank You that I have the Divine Life in me, which facilitates development in every area of my Life. I understand how best to overcome any challenge that comes my way today in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

The Ruling Life

Romans 5:17; Gen 1:26-27; Mark 4:37-39 Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ. Gen 1:26 And God said let us make man in our own image after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air... Dominion is an attribute of the divine life. God cannot be ruled over by anything or anyone. He is always in charge of every situation and circumstance. Man was designed to dominate, not to be dominated. Little wonder he detests oppression. God, in the beginning, crowned man king over all the works of His hands. He made man to have dominion over the birds of the air, fishes of the sea and every creeping being that creeps on the earth. By virtue of the divine life we received at New Birth, we possess the dominating, kingly authority of God to reign and to rule over creation. Jesus demonstrated dominion in ruling over the raging of the sea, lack, sin and every negative thing that came His way. He was indeed the ruling, reigning Son of God. Remember, . As He is, so are we in this world I John 4:17 Royalty, a part of Divinity, finds expression in the New Man by faith. The Life of God in us makes us masters over any situation or circumstance that may come our way. This confers on us the ability to function daily as though fear, failure and lack do not exist. Jesus, our Perfect Example, was asleep on a pillow in the face of apparent shipwreck. You can face any situation with the same boldness because you are a Possessor of the ruling, reigning life of God. Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 1:12-13; Rom 11; 1 John 3:1-2; Rom 8:14-17; Gal 4:7 My Solid Front (Confession) Father I thank You that I have Your very life in me, therefore I rule over every contradiction. By my words, I set in motion the law of order, and I define my path in life as brighter and better in Jesus Name. AMEN.

The Word of Life

John 6:68; 2 Pet 1:3-4 John 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of Eternal Life. 2 Pet. 1:3-4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises that by these you may be partakers of the divine nature. It is impossible to participate in the divine life to any appreciable degree without the Words of Eternal Life. The words of Eternal Life are the exceeding great and precious promises in God's Word that describe how the Life of God functions. The Word of God reveals the dimensions of the Divine Life and how to access them. My son attend to my words, incline your ear to my sayings, let them not depart from thine eyes, keep them in the midst of thine heart; For they are life to those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Prov. 4:20-22. Health and life are accessed through the Word of God. Beloved, give attention to the Word of Life. Let them dominate your thoughts, speech and actions. This is when the life of God can find expression through your speech, thoughts and actions. Let thoughts of divine health which emerge from God's Word rule your mind on every occasion and as you do this, health will undoubtedly manifest in your body. Refuse to accept thoughts that do not line up with the life of God in you. Instead of expecting sicknesses every month, begin to expect the health God's Word says is yours. Whatever dominates your thoughts will rule your life and will eventually find expression in your life, as you cannot think death every time and expect results consistent with the life of God. Stick your mind on God's Word and see God's life find expression in and through you.
Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 1:1-4; John 17:1-3; Phil 2:16; 1 John 1:1

My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I attend to the Words of Eternal Life. I get results that are consistent with the Divine Life. The Life of God finds expression in my spirit, soul and body today, in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Lay Hold on Eternal Life!

1 Tim 6:12; Mark 4:14-15 1 Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, where unto thou hath also called The Word of God is Life (John 6:63). The knowledge of God is eternal life (John 17:1-3). Laying hold on Eternal Life is laying hold on God's Word. The enemy is always seeking to steal the Word of God. This is because it is our contact with God and His life. Mark 4:14-15 The sower soweth the Word and these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. The Word of God is the seed for the manifestation of the Life of God. Circumstances may be contrary to the Word but the fight of faith lays hold on the Word of God in the face of contrary circumstances. Faith focuses on the Word of God alone, not on the contrary circumstances. This means two things: firstly, to maintain a confession of the Word of God in the face of financial, marital, health challenges and not allowing the circumstances pressurize you into saying things that are not in line with God's word; and secondly, acting in line with what the Word says in the face of contrary circumstances. Beloved, it takes the fight of faith to lay hold on eternal life. The fight of faith is holding unto God's Word in the face of daunting, contrary physical evidences. For example; in the midst of lack, you still choose to stay on the giving side of life because the Word of God says to give and it will be given back to you. When you give in the midst of lack, the life of God is released for abundance in all you do. Beloved, remember that anyone who is born of God is not of this world. We stay stuck to the Word against all odds and storms of life. This is how to lay hold on eternal life. Refuse to flinch. Refuse to cave in to contrary evidences against your faith in God's Word, knowing this: 'there is nothing that can be done against the truth, but for the truth' Other Scriptures for Meditation: Luke 8:5-15; Jam 1:22-25; 2 Cor 4:13 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I thank You that my faith is working and all things work together for my good. I refuse to consider the storms of life; but I rise above every storm for my focus is on the Word of God, which puts me over in every area of life in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

A Demonstration of Life
1 John 1:1-2; John 1:4; John 5:24-27 1 John 1:1-2 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us. Jesus demonstrated Zoe for us to see the dynamic out-workings of the divine life. He had no consciousness of insufficiency, weakness or fear. He multiplied loaves of bread and fishes when confronted with lack. He calmed the raging of the sea by His command. He prevailed over the laws of nature through the exercise of the laws of the divine life. His life was not subject to circumstances. He, undoubtedly, demonstrated that the divine life is indeed kingly. Not only did He come to teach us lessons in the divine life, He also came to bestow it on humanity with awesome graciousness and benevolence. John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, kill and destroy. I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly. He who has the Son of God has received eternal life. We have become Partakers of the divine nature. Jesus is our Perfect Example. To demonstrate and manifest the divine life, we must look unto Jesus in all things that pertain to life and godliness (Heb 12:1-2). To look to Jesus is to look to the Word of God, for Jesus is the Living Word (John 1:1-3, 14). We cannot look to Jesus and not know how to go well and do well in life. He is our wisdom; our correct perception of reality. Beloved, feed Jesus into you by feeding on God's Word. Be an imitator of Jesus as you act out God's Word that has been built into you. Speak forth Jesus by speaking forth the Word of God in your spirit. This is how to demonstrate the divine life. Remember, Jesus is this Eternal Life and His life reveals to us how this eternal life functions. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Mark 11:22-24; Acts 10:38; John 5:19 My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You heavenly Father, because I have received Your kind of life. It is working in me now to prosper me and mine, in Jesus name. I declare that I am above situations and circumstances because I am a Possessor of the divine life. AMEN. 8

Abundant Measure
John 10:10; John 7:37-39 John 10:10 I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly. John 7:38-39 ...He that believeth on me as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this spake he of the spirit which they that believe on him should receive; for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified. Eternal life is in measures. God wants us to have his Life in a super abundant measure. Eternal Life is what we received at New Birth. However, Jesus describes an overwhelming measure of Eternal Life as a RIVER flowing out of the belly of the believer. In other words, the infilling of the Holy Spirit is the initiation into the abundant measure of Eternal Life. The initial evidence of this is speaking with other tongues (Acts 2:4). This is the dimension of Life that is much more than you can exhaust. It is the fullness of life that alters the course of a whole family, a State and a Nation. God's intent is not just to change us, but also to change the world through us. Thank God for the measure of the Life that changed us, but there is a measure that will change the world through us. It is the abundant measure of life that can influence our world through us. This is the dimension the infilling of the Holy Spirit offers. This dimension unleashes the manifestation of the Omnipotence, Omniscience of God. But the manifestation of the spirit is given to every man to profit withal 1Cor 12:7 The Believer can fully manifest God as he stays consistently filled with the Spirit of God. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; - Eph 5:18-20 This is a deeper measure of Eternal Life; our quest should be to manifest this Life in the richest measure. Jesus came for this purpose. Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 Cor 12:1-End; 1 Cor 14:2, 4; Jude 20 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I make the decision to stay filled with the Spirit constantly .The Omnipotence of God finds expression through my hands as special miracles are wrought through my hands, in Jesus Name. Fan It To Flame!
2 Tim 1:6-8; Gal 5:25; 1 Cor 12:7-11 2 Tim 1:6-8 For this reason, I am reminding you to fan the flame, the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands For God did not give us the spirit of timidity but one of power, love and self-discipline. The Word of God places on the Believer the responsibility of stirring up the gift of God in him. God gave the gift; however, it is our responsibility to stir it up. Just as God planted the Garden of Eden for Adam to keep and tend it, so has He given to us His gift to be nurtured and to be stirred up by us. Salvation is a gift of God to us. The Holy Spirit indwelling and infilling is a gift of God to us. Our callings, ministries, talents are all gifts of God to us. It is our responsibility to stir them up constantly. How? This is done through the words of faith we proclaim consistently, through prayers and by engaging them in active and profitable use. If the gifts appear to be dormant or inactive over time, what to do is not to pray for another gift; but to fan to flame the gift already received, for the gifts and calling of God can never change. (Rom 11:29). Whatever gift you have been given can be rekindled by you. Beloved, you must admit personal responsibility for the gift of God in you, and not leave it up to God to rekindle. Decide to rekindle the gifts today as you admit personal responsibility for the development and use of them. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Eph 5:18-19; Rom 12:3-8; 1 Cor 14:14-15 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You for Your gift in me. In the name of Jesus, I stir up every grace deposit on the inside of me, today!

The Grace Shunt

Eph 2:1-10; 2 Tim 1:9 Eph 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. A shunt is a bypass, a diversion from the normal. The grace shunt or bypass has ushered the Believer into a world of the God-kind, a world of new realities and possibilities in Christ Jesus. Wow! What a joy, what a blessing. Salvation is not what can be earned by trying to keep a set of rules and ordinances. It is the gift of God received by grace through faith. The grace shunt has brought us safely into the salvation package purchased by the death of Jesus Christ. This is established in second Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. Anyone who is saved by grace through faith is a New Creature in Christ Jesus, as established in 2 Corinthians 5:17: If any man be in Christ, he is a New Creature Ephesian 2:8 states: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: The word saved actually means to keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction, to heal, to preserve, to make whole. The idea salvation portrays is wholeness, that is, deliverance and safety. The Bible asserts that the whole world lies in wickedness (1 John 5:19). Beloved, it should gladden your heart today that though the whole world lies in darkness, yet by the Grace bypass you are in the Light. This is one of the major reasons you ought to share the Gospel with your unsaved friends and neighbours.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Col 3:1-3; Rom 6: 1-23; Psa 91; Rom 5:2; 1 Cor 16:23 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I thank You for by the Grace bypass I am saved and safe. I am exempted from all evil and I declare that I am far from oppression. I live in the liberty of the saints in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Abundance of Grace
Rom 5:17-19; 2 Cor 12:9 Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. The Believer, in Christ, has received ABUNDANT GRACE Grace without measure. In Christ there isn't any deficiency of grace. We have abundance of grace in overflowing, matchless measures in Christ Jesus. It is to help us in time of need (Heb 4:16). We have unreserved access to grace at the mercy seat of the Father. We can come boldly to access all that has been reserved for us in Christ. 2 Corinthians 12:9 establishes the sufficiency of God's grace: And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness... For all your endeavors from the trivial to the most important, be rest assured that there is sufficient grace to accomplish them. God is able to unleash all grace upon you to the end that all that He has put in your heart to birth on earth is accomplished. God is the God of all grace (I Pet 5:10), and He can make all grace abound toward you. 2 Cor 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. 2 Cor 9:14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you. Beloved, as we learn to pray in faith, we receive the abundant grace God has made available to us in Christ Jesus before the foundation of the world. You can leap over a wall and do valiantly because of the grace of God at work in you. You can fulfill your God-given dreams by the Grace of God. You can say like the Apostle Paul: But by the grace of God I am what I am I Cor15:10 Grace is the distinguishing feature of the New Covenant; it is the identifying character of this new dispensation. Grace is the summary of the New Creation life in Christ Jesus. Receive grace, today! It is abundantly available. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom 5:15-16; John 1:14-17; Rom 1:5; Jam 4:6-7 My Solid Front (Confession) I thank You Father for I have received abundance of grace and it is sufficient to be all You have ordained me to be in this life in Jesus name. Therefore, I come boldly to Your throne to find grace and obtain mercy to help in time of need. 8

Grace Defined
2 Cor 8:9; Titus 3:7; 2 Tim 1:9 2 Cor 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich. Grace is God's goodness and benevolence directed towards man at the expense of the sacrificial Lamb of God (Jesus Christ). Simply put, Jesus Christ took man's fallen state enabling man to take His (Jesus') exalted state. Grace is all that God is, bestowed on man to become all that God has created him to be. It is God's vital involvement in man, working out His perfect will through him. How better can we please God? Pleasing God by His own ability at work in us! What a life! The Word of God declares in Ephesians 2:5-6 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, by (grace ye are saved; and hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Beloved, you have a legitimate right to experience a living relationship with God, sound health and prosperity, all at the expense of Jesus Christ's death. Jesus didn't die for Himself. There was no guile or transgression found in Him. However, He bore our pain, sorrow, shame and death. His judgment on the cross was for our emancipation. It was for our prosperity that He was crushed on the cross. Rom. 4:25 Who was delivered for our offenses, and was raised again for our justification. Rom. 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. You can declare boldly that you are free from sin and all its consequences because you have received the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ; you are free to live big for and in Christ. John 8:36 Whosoever the Son makes free is free indeed. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom 5:15-17; Eph 1:6; Gal 2:20-21; 2 Cor 12:9 My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You Heavenly Father for the gift of Your grace. I declare that I am rich, prosperous and healthy in my spirit, soul and body in Jesus Name. AMEN.

January 27

Grace Is a Person
John 1:14-17; Rom 5:1-2 John 1:14-17 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Grace is a not a concept, nor a doctrine, nor an idea, nor a set of creed. Grace is in the person of Jesus Christ. The Bible asserts that Jesus is full of grace and truth. It is of His fullness that we all have received grace for grace. Evidently, Jesus is the person of God's grace that came into the world and became a sacrificial Lamb that took away the sin of the world so we can partake of His Grace (the goodness of God). He brought grace and truth (reality) to us. We are, undoubtedly, the offsprings of God's grace! Having come to terms with the fact that Grace is in the person of Jesus Christ, it follows that fellowshipping with Him is romancing the grace of God. You may be wondering how do you fellowship with Jesus - the person of God's Grace? Well it starts by believing that He died for you and was raised from the dead, and confessing Him as your Lord. Rom 10:9-10, then fellowshipping with the Word, for Jesus is the Word of God made flesh. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And then in John 1:14 the Bible states: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Jesus Christ, who is the person of God's Grace is also the Word of God. Hence, meditating on God's Word is equivalent to interacting or fellowshipping with Jesus the person of God's Grace. Beloved, as you meditate upon and speak God's Word, you are fellowshipping with Grace. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Eph 1:6-7; Gal 1:1-6; Josh 1:8; Pro 4:20-22 My Solid Front (Confession) I thank You Father for Jesus Christ is the person of Your Grace and that I can fellowship with Him every day. I declare that by Your Holy Spirit, Jesus becomes real to me today in Jesus Name. AMEN.

Victory Over Sin

John 19:16-30; Rom 6:14; Rom 6:4-7 Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Under the Law, sin reigned and ruled because of the Law and the weakness of the flesh (human nature). Rom10:2. The Law could not minister righteousness to those under it because of the knowledge of sin that it ministered to it recipients, which in turn ministered condemnation. Condemnation ministered death (separation from God) because of the feeling of unworthiness to approach God. Nonetheless, those who are in Christ Jesus are no longer under the Law, but under Grace (Rom 6:14). God's grace is the only cure for sin and sinning. What the law couldn't do because of the sinful nature of man, God sent in His Son to fulfill the Law so that the righteous requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us. We are no longer under the guilt of sin nor the condemnation of the Law. We are under the righteousness of grace and its ability to live above sin. Hallelujah! Our salvation came by grace, not by keeping the Law. It is maintained by grace. When Jesus gave up the Ghost on the cross, He said: 'It is finished'. This means, sin is finished; guilt and condemnation are finished. Grace can now be ministered to everyone who believes in Jesus Christ. We, who have believed and confessed the Lordship of Jesus Christ, are free from the compelling power of sin. Under the Old Covenant, man tried to obey the Law but always defaulted for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Gal 2:16. But thank God we have come into the grace zone; it's not a license to sin but an empowerment to live in righteousness. Now, righteousness, not sin, lords it over us.Rom 6:17-18 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. Beloved, Grace is your divine license to live right. Receive it by faith, today; for it is abundantly available in Christ.
Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom 6:20-22; Rom 8:1-2; 1 Pet 2:16; Eph 4:7

My Solid Front (Confession) I thank you Father, for sin shall not have dominion over me because I am not under the law but under grace. Therefore, I declare that I am dead to sin and alive to God in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Dead Indeed To Sin

Rom 6:1-23; Rom 8:9-10 Rom 6:11 Likewise reckon ye yourself to be dead indeed to sin but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The principles of God's kingdom are so simple that one could overlook them. Many think God is so complex that they can't understand Him. Some even think He can't be understood at all. However, the Believer in Christ has been given to know the mysteries of God's kingdom. The Apostle Paul exclaimed in 2 Cor 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. The sin problem has been solved and the how to living above the temptations of sin has been simplified in the Word of God. The key word in the opening Scripture is RECKON. To reckon means to deem it fit, to account oneself, to consider or think oneself as. Here is the active point of Romans 6:11, 'RECKON' means to consider, to think oneself as dead unto sin but alive unto God. Beloved, you need to see yourself as dead INDEED unto sin. This is the truth that the Word of God presents to us. When Jesus was crucified, we (the old nature) were crucified with Him. When He died, we died with Him. When He was buried, we were buried with Him. When He was raised from the dead, we (the new man) were raised together with Him (Rom 6:8 -11). This is the principle of identification with Christ. The old man (sin nature) is the reason for sinning. He was crucified with Christ (Gal 2:20). Now, we can reckon ourselves (old selves) dead with Christ Jesus that the new self may live in the fullness of righteousness. You don't respond to sin any more. You are dead to it. You only respond to righteousness. Hallelujah! Now, stop thinking of yourself as a forgiven, old wretched sinner. You are not a sinner anymore! The old sinner-man died with Christ. This new man in Christ is a righteous man (2 Cor 5:17). All you need to do now is to renew your mind to the truth of God's Word. Reckon yourself to be dead indeed unto sin, and alive unto God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Shalom!

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom 1:1-17; Rom 8:1-13; Eph 2:1, 5; Col 2:13; 1 Pet 2:24 My Solid Front (Confession) I thank You Heavenly Father for I am dead indeed to sin and alive unto You. I declare that I am free from the claws of sin and I respond to righteousness in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

The Name of Jesus

Phil 2:5-11; John 14:13-14 John 14:13-14 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my Name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it]. From the Scripture above, we understand that the Name of Jesus in the mouth of the Believer brings Jesus on the scene. Jesus said, If you demand anything in my name I will do it. This reveals the authority given to the Believer, in Christ Jesus, to use the name of Jesus. We can demand anything in the name of Jesus Christ and He will grant it unto us. This is the power of attorney He gave us to exercise authority in His name. God has made Jesus Christ Lord over all things in heaven, on earth and under the earth. Over the three realms of existence, Jesus Christ reigns as Lord. Phil. 2:9-11 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name, That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. The Church has not yet come to the full awareness of the benefits and the power invested in that Name. When we do, we will transform our world the same way Jesus did His when He walked on the earth. When we come to the knowledge that the same Jesus with whom nothing is impossible, is present whenever we call His Name, then we will become bold to use His Name. The truth is, when His name is called, He comes on the scene. He and His name are one. He is not apart from His name. It means that when you command sicknesses or diseases to leave in Jesus' name, He will drive them out. When you cast out demons and evil spirits in His Name, He will see to it that they are evicted. When we pray in His name, we should bear in mind that it is as though Jesus Himself were asking of the Father and this guarantees us answers every time we pray in His Other Scriptures for Meditation: Mark 16:15-18; Acts 4:30; Eph 1:21-23 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I thank You for the authority in the Name of Jesus, which You have given unto me. I believe when I demand anything (deliverance, healings, prosperity etc) in the Name of Jesus, He will do it. I walk in this consciousness in Jesus' Name. Amen. 8

Salvation In The Name of Jesus

Acts 4:1-21; Acts 2:21; John 14:6 Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Jesus is the only way to the Father. He said that no man can come unto the Father but by Him. Salvation is not in believing or calling on the name of an angel, it is in the name of Jesus. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name. The Apostles preached in the Name of Jesus and did many wonders in that Name, so much that they were supposed for supermen, in that name (Acts 3:15-16). In that name, many awesome works were wrought. Indeed, it was and still is an awesome name. As the Scripture says in Acts2:21, that whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Not only will that name save you (in that you get born again), it will also save you from fear, attacks, accidents, oppression etc. Just call on that name in faith, and awesome deeds will be wrought. Pro 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Beloved, not only does the name of Jesus save from sin, it also saves from its consequences. He has given us the right to use His name to make demands for unfailing deliveries. Whatever you ask in that name is sure to materialize. God is true to His Word to perform it. God's Word is sure to deliver what it talks about. Faith in the name of Jesus will produce awesome results to the glory of God. Use that name in faith and Jesus will come on the scene to perform everything you demand in that name. Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 1:12-13; 1 Pet 1:23; Rom 10:11 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I thank You for salvation is in the Name of Jesus Christ. I walk in freedom from fear, lack, sicknesses and diseases because I believe in the Name of the Lord Jesus. I am safe and I am saved, in Jesus' Name. I have the power of attorney to use the name of Jesus Christ. AMEN.

Love: The Way to Victory

Gal 5:22-23; Rom 5:5-8 Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is Love God is love and He exemplified His Love towards us by sending forth His Son to come and die for our sins. What a practical demonstration of His love for humanity (John 3:16). Nothing can be more graphic! God is love (I John 4:8, 16). He does not have love; He is love. This is God's fundamental nature. He is essentially a love Being. Everyone who is born of God is born of Love, for God is love. The Believer therefore, is a love being. The love of God is shed abroad in our heart by the Holy Spirit in us (Rom 5:5). Just as much as God has loved us by sending His Son to die for our sins, we can extend the same love to other people by giving ourselves for the purpose of their edification. We love other people with our resources to the end that they are refreshed and then abound in thanksgiving unto God. This is how we live in Christ. This is the way of victory that will always ensure unfailing triumph constantly. Love is the greatest force of life without which life is not realizable. It is the force that ensures constant victory. Hatred, wickedness and all evil will bow where Love thrives. 1 Cor 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE. The New Man is a Lover by nature. He is ruled and governed by love. The New Commandment of love is his matching order. Love has become the King of our lives. Our affairs are ordered by love. John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you. That ye love one another as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know ye are my disciples if ye have love one towards another. Put Love first today and victory is assured. Love never fails, it always wins. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Eph 4:32; John 15:7, 1 John 4:7-8 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the ability to Love the way Jesus loves. I decree that I walk in Love all the days of my Life in Jesus' Name. AMEN.

Healing in the Name of Jesus

Mark 16:17-18; Acts 3:1-16 Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. One of the signs Jesus said will follow the Believer in His name is healing through the laying on of hands. He said the Believer shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover, undoubtedly. This is the truth from the mouth of the Truth Himself. Nothing can be more true. This is the finality of truth; the totality of reality. Beloved, you can bank on His Word. He is honest and credible. John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me. In Acts 3:6-7, Peter exercised faith in the Name of Jesus and the man who was lame from his mother's womb at the gate called beautiful, received strength in his feet and ankle bones to have his maiden walk. The key to that miracle was hidden in verse 16 of that chapter: And HIS NAME THROUGH FAITH IN HIS NAME hath made this man strong.. (Acts 3:16). It was faith in the name of Jesus that gave the lame man perfect soundness. When we believe that the Name will do what Jesus said it will and we use it in faith, then it will produce awesome results. We cast out demons in that Name; we heal the sick (malaria, typhoid, cancer, tuberculosis, name it) in that Name because Jesus has paid for our sickness and disease by His blood (1 Pet. 2:24). Beloved, believe in the Name and you can eradicate sickness in your house and neighborhood. The name of Jesus works wonders. Hallelujah! at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. (Phil 2:10). Other Scriptures for Meditation: Isa 53:1-5; Heb 2:4; Acts 4:12, 30; Eph 1:21 My Solid Front (Confession) Almighty Father, I thank You for the healing power in the Name of Jesus. In that Name I heal the sick, I raise the dead and I cast out devils. I walk boldly in this authority, in Jesus' Name. AMEN.

Praying In the Name of Jesus

John 16:23-24; John 16:23-24 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. Jesus gave us, in His Name, a blank cheque to fill with whatever we desire from His Father. What a privilege! Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). His name is our sure access to the Father. We cannot receive anything from the Father in any other name other than the name of Jesus. By the authority of God's Word, we are to come to the Father in the name of Jesus. Beloved, when we come to the Father in the name of Jesus, it is as though Jesus were before the Father to ask of Him. We are one with Him in that name. In that name, the Father sees us in Him and Him in us. Halleluyah! We are no longer strangers in His presence because we have come in the name of Jesus (Eph 2:12-13). In that name we are heirs with God and joint-heirs with Christ Jesus. Now we are the children of God and He is our Father (1 John 3:1-2). So we can ask the Father for whatever we desire because we are his children. Jesus tells us how to pray, .when you pray, say our Father We are not to pray to Jesus, we are not to pray to angels, we are not to pray to any man or woman in the Bible. We also don't pray in the name of angels because our prayers will not be answered if we pray that way. Our prayers must be addressed simply to our Father in Jesus' Name. Praying to the Father in the Name of Jesus guarantees the Father's answer and Jesus' endorsement. Beloved, ask the Father for something today in the Name of Jesus and you will see the result of your obedience to God's Word. Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 15:16; 1 John 5:13-15; John 14: 13-14 My Solid Front (Confession) My Father, I thank You for the privilege of asking whatever I desire in the Name of Jesus and I believe that when I ask you hear me. Thank You Father, in Jesus' Name. AMEN. 8

Exercising Our Authority in His Name (I)

Luke 10:19; Matt 28:18 Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. The word used here for 'power' is 'authority' in the Greek rendering. Jesus has given unto us authority over snakes, scorpions and over ALL, not some of the powers or dominion of the enemy. In addition, it says we shall rule over the enemy's entire power and nothing shall by any means hurt us. 1Peter 5:8 says your adversary, the devil The devil is our adversary, not human beings. Our real enemies are not human beings. They can yield themselves to demons to influence them. However, the devil and his cohorts are our enemies. Eph. 6:12 For we are not fighting against people made of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against those mighty powers of darkness who rule this world, and against wicked spirits in the heavenly realms. [NLT] Jesus said all authority in heaven and on earth has been given unto Him and He gave that same authority unto us to use against all the powers of the enemy which include sickness, disease, oppression, demons and all their activities. In exercising our authority, the first thing we must know is that our adversary is the devil and not our fellow brethren. We must renew our minds to the fact that the real enemy is the devil. 2 Cor 10:3-4 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not WAR after the flesh: (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. [NIV]: We are human but we don't wage war as humans do This implies that as human beings, we don't fight one another, we Love one another. The real enemy is the devil. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Mark 16:17-18; John 14:13-14; Eph 6:10-18 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I am not unaware of the schemes of the devil. I exercise my authority over all the powers of the devil and his demons in Jesus' Name. AMEN. 8

Exercising Our Authority in His Name II

Luke 10:19, Luke 7:6-10 Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Jesus Christ, in His earthly ministry, exercised authority over sicknesses, diseases, storms and all situations and circumstances of life. He is our Perfect Example. We are to look unto Him in the demonstration of the divine life. He is our wisdom. In the name of Jesus, the Believer in Christ has authority over the created world. It was bestowed on us to rule over the created world. We, by new birth, are Kings together with Jesus Christ. Hence, it is not to be put to the debate that we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Jesus Christ. We are power-brokers! However, the knowledge of our authority in Christ is as important as its technical know-how. The biblical account of how the Centurion received healing for his servant clearly precipitates the use of authority. Authority is delegated right or power to act on behalf of somebody else. It is a legal permission to take somebody else's place in action as though he/she were there in person. The key to exercising authority is AWARENESS. The centurion knew that he had authority over all the 100 soldiers assigned to him and he knew that all he had to do was say the word and they would carry it out. The Roman Emperor gave him that authority and every soldier under him knew it. In the same vein, Jesus conferred on us the right to use His name to rule over the created world. Beloved, you must come to this awareness by meditating on this truth, deeply and consistently. This will enable you exercise your God-given authority effectively. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Phil 2:9-11; Psa 107:20; Isa 53:5 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I thank You for the authority I have in the Name of Jesus. I am conscious of this authority and I exercise it over every situation I encounter, in Jesus' name. AMEN.

Exercising Our Authority in His Name III

Acts 16:16-18; Luke 10:19 Acts 16:16-18 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. Beloved, faith in the name of Jesus enables you to act in His stead with boldness and conviction. Faith is the assurance of your hope coming to pass. It is the evidence of the things not yet seen. By faith, you can exercise authority the way the Apostle Paul did in our opening text. He knew who he was in Christ, and he did not hesitate to make his God-given authority manifest by faith. Faith is never void of a corresponding action. It always goes with an accompanying deed. If you truly believe that Jesus is your Lord and that He has given you authority over the demoniacal world, then you will not be afraid to exercise your authority over them. Fear is a deed that goes with unbelief just as much as boldness is a deed that goes with faith. Kings don't suggest, neither do they beg. They command (Ecc 8:4). We have been made Kings and Priests unto our God. And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. Rev 5:10. We are not to cry before poverty, sickness, fear, oppression, depression. We should not even cry before God as though He has not given us authority. We speak as Kings by faith in His name. Exercise your authority now by speaking to that disease, condemnation, sickness, poverty, oppression in the Name that is above every other name. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rev 5:10; Mark 11:23-24; Rev 1:6 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I exercise the authority You have given me in the Name of Jesus by speaking without doubting in my heart, because I'm confident that the Name of Jesus is efficacious. Hallelujah. 8

Fruit of the Spirit

Gal 5:22-23; John 15:1-8 Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. The fruit of the spirit is the fruit that the Believer bears because he has been born of God and he is a possessor of the nature of God. Unbelievers can't bear them because they don't have the nature of God. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5. Anyone who is not in union with our Lord Christ Jesus, cannot bear this fruit. Jesus Christ is the Vine; we are the branches. We understand that fruits grow on the branches. This means that it is our spirits that bear the fruit. It is not the fruit of the Holy Spirit. It is the fruit that the recreated human spirit bears. Hence, it is our responsibility to develop our recreated human spirit to bear love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. We have the ability to bear fruit because we are joined to the Vine. The Vine-life is the fruit bearing life that enables us to become fruitful. We must abide in Him to be fruitful. This simply means to feed on the Word and fellowship with Him constantly. This is the secret of fruitfulness in Christ Jesus. Beloved, as we bear fruits, the Father is glorified in His Son, and we in Him. John 15:8 'Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples'. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Col 3:12-15; Eph 5:9; Phil 1:11; Jam 3:18; Heb 12:11. My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I take responsibility to bear the fruit of the spirit and I yield my spirit, soul and body to love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance, in Jesus name.

Walking In Love
Rom 5:5; John 13:13-35 John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Love is both expressive and reciprocal. Agape (the God-kind of love) always demands and creates actions. We can't truly love without showing it. Love is a force of life that creates love-like actions. God is love. Beloved, we walk in love by acting on the Word of God. Acting on the Word is walking in love. How do we act on the Word? This book of the law shall not depart out of thy MOUTH; but thou shalt MEDITATE therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to DO according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Josh 1:8 Acting on the Word entails: a) Confessing the Word constantly (day and night) b) Meditating on the Word; that is, thinking deeply on Scriptures until they become your present-hour inner awareness 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 gives a catalogue of the characteristics of the God-kind of Love. For example, 1 Corinthians 13:5 says 'love is slow to anger', as you meditate and confess that: 'l am slow to wrath in Jesus name; I am patient and kind because I have the Love of God in me; I think no evil towards my neighbour because love thinks no evil'. As you practice this, it becomes so real in your awareness that walking in Love becomes a lifestyle. Remember that the Love of God in us grows as we feed it on God's Word and exercise it by acting on the Word.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 John 3:18; 1 John 4:7-10; Matt 5:43-48; Rom 13:10.
My Solid Front (Confession)

Heavenly Father, I walk in Love by putting Your Word of Love in my mouth and meditating on Love Scriptures day and night. I declare that I am strengthened to walk in Love in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Strengthened With Joy

Isa 53:4, Psa 8:2, Neh 8:10b Neh 8:10 for the joy of the LORD is your strength. Joy is one of the prominent springs of Eternal Life. It is the exuberance of life; the vitality of existence. It is the propelling force of Eternal Life. Joy is God's strengthgiving fountain that exudes and up-holds Eternal Life. The Word declares that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Gal 5:22 reveals the fact that joy is the fruit of the recreated born-again human spirit. It follows that as we activate the force of joy within us, the outflow of eternal life increases and strength is the result. More often than not, we mistake happiness for joy. However, they are a far cry from each other. One cannot be happy in trials and afflictions, but one can rejoice in the Lord despite them. The Word declares: My brethren count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations. Jam 1:2. Happiness is based on our five physical senses. The moment what we see, smell, taste, touch and hear is good, then we are happy but when they are contrary, happiness disappear suddenly. However, joy is a spiritual force that does not depend on the five physical senses, but on spiritual realities in God (1 Thess 5:16). We are to rejoice in the Lord. Joy is always in Him, not outside Him (Phil 3:1; 4:4). We have every cause to rejoice in Christ Jesus. We have been redeemed from grief and sorrow into joy unspeakable and full of glory. We are not to yield to sadness, sorrow or grief at any time no matter what is happening around us. Proverbs 24:10 If you faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. The reason why we rejoice in the midst of adverse situations, crises and trials is because joy strengthens our spirit to withstand and overcome all odds, and the fullness of God's glory is released to set things in order as we rejoice. Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 Pet 1:8; Psa 16:11; Psa 21:1; Psa 30:5b; Isa 61:3. My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I believe the joy of the Lord is my strength and I will rejoice always. I refuse to yield to sorrow, sadness and grief in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

February 10

Unspeakable Love
1 John 3:1; 1 John 4:7-10, 16 1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. The idea of God being a loving and absolutely harmless Father who seeks the peace and prosperity of all humanity is scarce today. This is because people erroneously believe human philosophy and the traditions of men over the revelation of who God is as revealed by His Word. The Truth alone can reveal the truth. God's Word alone can reveal Him. God is Love. This is a direct and precise definition of the Person of God. Love is the reason God made man and shared His Spirit nature with him (Eph 1:4). Love is the reason God sent Jesus to take our place to be punished for our disobedience so we could be justified (John 3:16, Rom 5:8). God's Love is unconditional. He loved us unconditionally, even while we were yet sinners. He never changes and so does His love nature. (Mal 3:6). Faith is the appropriate response to the Father's love demonstrated towards us (1 John 4:16). Faith in the Love of God is the response that brings man into the vital experience of it. When you respond to God in faith because you believe His Love for you, then you are positioned to partake of and abundantly enjoy all the good things He has provided for you. Draw near to God because He has drawn near to you in His Love and has declared His Eternal Love for you. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Jer 31:3; John 17:23; 1 John 4:19; 1 John 3:16. My Solid Front (Confession) I am of God. God loves me unconditionally and with a never ending love. I have acceptance with God because of His Eternal Love demonstrated towards me in Christ Jesus. And because I have believed and received the Love of Father, I can receive all I desire in God, for God will not keep anything, no matter how big or small, away from me. I am established in the knowledge of God's Love for me therefore, my faith works always. I live in the rest the Love of God brings in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

The Light of Life

John 1:1-4, 9; Psa 36:9; Isa 60:19; John 8:12 John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. The word 'Light' in our text today is used in the context of 'development', 'advancement' or what you would refer to, today, as 'civilization'. The Life of God is our development, advancement and civilization. God's original design for every man is to perceive and understand life by God's definition and knowledge of it (John 1:9). However, many seek to understand this present life in the 'light' of natural or academic education. They seek solutions to life's challenges in human wisdom and reasoning. Human wisdom is limited and cannot suffice in matters of spiritual significance, because it was not so designed. God intends for you to be educated in life through the knowledge that comes from His nature- Zoe (The God-kind of Life). If you have confessed with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and Saviour and have received Him by faith, then you have the Life that enlightens (Rom 10:8-10; 1 John 5:11-12). The light of life is the education that comes through the nature of God. It speaks of the knowledge of God's Word that flows from His Nature (Life). It is the light of God's Word (John 1:1-4). In Christ Jesus, we have access to the Light of Life. We access it through meditation in the Word (1Pet 2:2). Our education comes through studying and confessing the Word of God. This is the true light that lightens every man in Christ. This is the light that lightens us for victory and enables us to live in the fullness of God. God's Nature in the believer is the ability to see life through God's eyes and to know what to do to have good success. Beloved, you are to feed that life with God's Word and the light of it will shine showing you the way of victory. Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 1:9; John 9:5; John 12:46; 1 John 1:7; Col 1:12; 2 Pet 1:3-4. My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You that I have the Light of Life because I have the Life of God. The Life of God is my reasoning, development, understanding, by it I process information and approach all of life's issues. God's Life in me puts me over in every sphere of human endeavours, in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

The Bread of Life

John 6:25-51; Matt 4:4 Matt 4:4 But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Bread is a term which stands for food in Scriptures. It depicts the substance of sustenance. Natural bread sustains natural life, while spiritual bread sustains spiritual life. The Word of God is the bread of spiritual life. Man is essentially a spirit being whose spirit substance needs to be sustained consistently. Jesus said in John 6:63, it is the spirit that gives lifethe word I speak unto you are spirit and life. The spirit of man is sustained and energized by the Word of God. Light and understanding for progress comes to man through his spirit by the Word of God. Man lives by the Word of God. Our sustenance and nourishment comes from God's Word. A famished spirit that is starved of God's Word cannot function effectively in the realm of the God-kind. We have to be well fed with God's Word to realize all the possibilities and realities of the life of God in us. Beloved, feed your spirit with God's Word through meditating, confessing and acting on God's Word. Live by the Word of God daily.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 Tim 4:13-16; Col 3:16; Deut 8:3; John 6:68; 1 John 1:1. My Solid Front (Confession) In the name of Jesus, I feed my spirit with the word of God; therefore my spirit is strong and sensitive. I am effective and sharp in the use of my spiritual senses. I do not miss out on important spiritual information.

God of all Grace

1 Pet 5:10; 2 Cor 9:8; Eph 3:20 1 Pet 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 2 Cor 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work Grace is the involvement of God in the life of a man bringing him or her into prepared places, and things without fleshly and frustrating struggles. God's provision for your life and destiny is a product of grace. God has provided beforehand, everything required for your absolute success in life. Faith in the grace of God is faith in His pre-providence. The Apostle Paul reveals the secret behind his success in life and ministry : But by the grace of God I am what I am and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. 1 Cor 15:10. Our making is of and in God's grace. God desires for you to fulfill His purpose for your life by His grace (finished works for you at Christ's expense). Everything you would ever need for life and godliness is available in God's grace for you. It is time you entered into God's finished works for you through Christ Jesus by stepping out in assurance of faith that these things are yours NOW. Begin to take faith steps in appropriating the grace of God by knowing what the grace of God holds for you through studying the Word and acting on it. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom 4:4-5; Eph. 2:5, 8-9; 2 Cor 8:9; Tit 3:7

My Solid Front (Confession) God's grace abounds towards me in all things. I declare that I walk into prepared places and things, and I meet prepared people necessary for the fulfillment of my destiny in Jesus' Name. AMEN.

Men Ought Always To Pray

Luke 18:1-8; Phil 4:6; Rom 8:26-28 Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Prayer is communing with God. It is such a privilege we have in God to commune with Him. God loves to fellowship with us because we were made in His image. Prayer is an indispensable part of our walk with God. A lot can be accomplished by the Spirit through prayer. God wants you to look to Him for all that pertains to life and godliness. We were made to trust God for a living. He made us with no capacity to worry; we are to cast all our burdens on Him. The Word declares: be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanks giving let your requests be made known to Him. Phil 4:6 Prayer is not an intermittent discharge. It is not a spare tool we use once in a while when the regular one goes bad. Prayer is a life we have been called to as Priests of the Most High God. One of the reasons many fail in life is prayerlessness. Though God has blessed us with all that pertains to life and godliness, yet we cannot access them without prayer. We can access grace through prayer (Heb 4:16). Take your concerns to God in prayers, no matter how big or small they may seem. Do it in faith (confident expectation of God's response) and you will enjoy a speedy response from God. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Jam 5:16b-17 (AMP); 1 Thess 5:17; 1 Cor 14:1-15. My Solid Front (Confession) Father I thank You for the privilege to call on Your name. I confess that I live in constant fellowship with God. I pray without ceasing and my prayer life yields results because I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

The Profession of Our Faith

Heb 10:23; Rom 10:8-10; 2 Cor 4:13 Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised The biblical faith always has a profession. Faith's profession is its proclamation. The proclamation of faith is the bold declaration of faith in the face of contrary evidences that are against the Word of God. The Bible says Abraham believed God against all odds. He believed in hope against hope. He staggered not at the promise of God. In the face of daunting evidences against his conviction in God, he held unto God's Word, still. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. Rom 4:18 The profession of our faith is the solid front we present in the midst of the rage of doubt. It anchors our confidence in God's Word. It is the trigger we pull to release our faith for action. Simply put, it is what our faith boldly declares as a result of our confidence in God. Our faith cannot be propelled without a bold profession or proclamation. It secures the faithfulness of God to commit to what He's promised. Beloved, your faith is as valid as long as you are holding unto its profession. The rule of the operation of the faith of God says you must believe with the heart, and then confess with your mouth that which you have believed with the heart, for there to be a physical manifestation of it. (Rom 10:9-10). Walking by faith or professing faith is easy if we just follow this Kingdom rule. The Lord Jesus is the faithful High Priest of our confession, He watches over His Word on our lips to perform it. We must learn to remain constant in our declaration of faith, even in the face of all contrary situations and circumstances. This will result in things turning out according to our words of faith. Jesus promised that we would have what we say. Amen. Begin to declare today with your mouth every truth of God's Word in your heart and you will see the manifestation. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Heb 4:14; Heb 3:1; 1 Tim 6:12; Heb 13:5-6; Mark 11:23 My Solid Front (Confession) In the name of Jesus I have what I say, therefore I declare that all things are working together for my good. I have perfect knowledge and understanding concerning all things in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Walk in Him
2Cor 1:20; Col 2:6; 1 Thess 4:1 2 Cor 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. A walk is a series of steps in the right direction. Our walk in Christ is of faith. We make progress in the Lord by faith. We are not meant to crawl in Him; we are to walk in Him. At Salvation, we were born into the Family of God. We got saved by grace through faith (Eph 2:8-9). It is a vital principle of God's kingdom that was revealed to us at New Birth, that is, Salvation came by grace through faith. It is worthy of note that if Salvation (the greatest demonstration of God's benevolence) came by grace through faith, it follows that God has laid the precedence of how other things of salvation would come thereafter BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH. The Word of God has shown us how to walk in Christ Jesus. How? It says as you received Christ Jesus, So walk in Him How did we receive Him? It was BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH (Eph 2:8-9; Rom 10:9-10). The same way we trusted Him to save us by acting on His Word, is the same way we walk in Him. We walk in Him as we learn to abide in Him by putting God's Word first and then practice it by faith. Keep the Word in your mouth of who you are in Him, who He is in you, what you have in Him, who the Father is to you, what you can do through His Word and the power of His Spirit. Beloved, act out these realities in your daily life and you will experience God on a new level. Shalom. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Acts 17:28, Eph 1:4; 1 John 2:6; Eph 2:10; Phil 2:13 My Solid Front (Confession) In Christ I live, I move and I have my being. I declare that I am everything the Word of God says that I am and I can do by the power of God's Spirit everything the Word of God says I can do. AMEN.

God's Constant Presence Guaranteed

Heb 13:5-6; Matt 28:20; John 14:17 Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. One of the greatest fears that have plagued the human race is the fear of loneliness. People are afraid to be left alone without anyone committing to them in love to bear their burdens. Many enter into wrong relationships for the fear of being lonely. However, God has given unto us His ever present presence. This is worth more than heaven and earth. The Believer does not have to think of a possible moment of being lonely. Even in the face of daunting situations and circumstances that threaten, you must remember God's Word to you. I will never leave you nor forsake you Heb 13:5. Lo, I am with you. Matt 28:20. God is with you, now. God's presence with us guarantees constant success on every ground of life's combats. We are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us. Every resource of heaven is at our reach because God is with us. We have the final say in all matters of life because God is with us. Beloved, do not shiver or quiver, because God is with you, and He will always put you on top of every situation you face in life. Remind yourself that God is with you and therefore you are not alone, and because of His sure presence you can leap over every challenging situation.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Jer 42:11; Hag 1:13, Hag 2:4; 1 John 4:4; Phil 2:13 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You that Your presence is with me always, therefore I declare that I am not alone, God is with me, God is in me, God is by my side, God is on my side, no one or thing can successfully be against or withstand me, in Jesus Name AMEN.

Effective Faith
Philem 1:6; Rom 12:3 Philem 1:6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. Every born-again person has faith, the God kind of faith (Rom 12:3). Scriptures reveal that God has dealt to every man who believes the measure of faith. It would be unjust for God to demand faith from the Believer if he or she does not possess it. The reason God demands faith is because He has given it to us. Faith is of our New Nature in Christ. We are of God (1 John 4:4) and He has given unto us His very own kind of faith. For your faith to be effective, that is, to always produce results, you must do the following: Believe and acknowledge the Scriptures that you have the same quality faith as God (Rom 12:3). Feed that faith on God's Word (Rom 10:17). Declare, confess, profess, speak in line with God's Word always (Phil 1:6, 2 Cor 4:13) Act on what the Word of God says to do (Jam 1: 22) Meditating on God's word will build your capacity for faith while confessing and acting on God's Word will exercise your faith to become effective. As you practice these daily, your faith will work and become more and more effective, yielding results. Beloved, as you come to terms with the realities of the New Man in Christ (who you are in Him now) your faith will grow in leaps and bounds. Be aware of who you are in Christ, now. You are not a failure, you are not a sinner, you are not a beggar, and you are not to be ruled by sicknesses and diseases. You are a king and a ruler like Jesus. That's who you are. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Heb 11:1, 6; Mark 11:22-24; Rom 10:6,8; Rom 1:17; Rom 4:1-25 My Solid Front (Confession) I acknowledge that the God kind of faith is in me and I am effective in the use of my faith. I feed my faith fat on God's Word and I overcome the world with my faith in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Field Of Souls
John 4:34-35; Matt 9:35-38 John 4:34-35 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? Behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. We have a commandment from our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ; our Captain and Commander, to preach the Gospel to all creatures. It was not suggested to the Believer. It is a commandment as the command to walk in Love. Winning souls is our noble ministry. It is not for angels, it is for us to win souls. We have been made Soul Winners in Christ. We are co-labourers with Jesus Christ. Someone may say, Well, I am a very busy business man, doctor, lawyer, entrepreneur and so on; I do not have the time to go about preaching. You don't have to go about. Where you are is your field of souls. The Lord Jesus said not to procrastinate when it comes to reaching out to the unsaved. We are to get to work with all hands on deck, to reach the unsaved with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Beloved, the harvest is ripe. Look around you for the harvest of souls where you work, live or play; the buses you take, your relationships, anywhere you are. Reach out to your immediate world. The harvest is ripe and the Lord of the harvest has sent you as a Reaper. How do you reap? Preach the word! Tell at least one person each day that God loves them and Jesus already paid the price for their salvation, healing, deliverance, wholeness. He that wins a soul is wise. Be wise! Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom 10: 13-15; Pro 11:30; Acts 10:38; 2 Tim 4:2; Col 1:28; Matt 28:18-20 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You for calling me into this noble ministry of winning souls. I declare that by Your grace at work in me I am an effective Soul Winner. I preach the Gospel when it is convenient and when it is not, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

BEAUTIFUL FEET
Isa 52:7; 1 Tim 2:7; 2 Tim 4:17; Rom 10:13-15 Isa 52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! The Bible calls the feet of the preacher of God's Word beautiful. Why? The answer is found in the text, it is because he brings the message of good tidings (news). He publishes peace, he publishes salvation- healing, deliverance, prosperity and the rule and reign of the Almighty God in the lives of those who would receive and believe the Gospel. Every move we make to get the Gospel out to people is blessed with favour, grace and the miraculous acts of God. Hallelujah! Our feet are blessed and beautiful because we bear the Gospel of grace. God has given unto the Believer the Word and ministry of reconciliation (2 Cor.5:1820). We have this noble ministry of sharing God's powerful message to change and transform the entire globe. We have the gospel of Christ in our custody, which can change the world from worst to best. It's a divine trust. God has saddled the Body of Christ with the responsibility to connect our world to the Word of God, which can save and deliver. Beloved, as powerful as angels are, God did not send them to preach the gospel. It tells us that we have the exclusive reserve to communicate the gospel to our world. God has sent us with the message of peace to the troubled, of hope to the despaired, of healing to the sick, of strength to the weak. Everywhere we go with this message; there will be joy, restoration, deliverance, healings, signs and wonder, prosperity, life etc. When men see us, they rejoice and proclaim beautiful feet. Preach the Word! Make the world beautiful! Do the work of an evangelist! Other Scriptures for Meditation: Col 1:26-28; 2 Tim 4:2; 2 Cor 4:5; 1 Cor 9:16; 1 Cor 1:17 My Solid Front (Confession) Father I thank You that I am a bearer of good tidings. Everywhere I go, I preach the Gospel with signs and wonders following me. I give Life where there is death, Healing where there is sickness, Prosperity where there is poverty and Righteousness where there is sinfulness. I go into my world with the Gospel of Peace, in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Seasoned With Salt

Col 4:6; Tit 2:7-8 Col 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. Salt preserves; salt sweetens. It reveals the uniqueness of taste. The Bible admonishes the Christian to preserve and sweeten this world with the words of our mouth. We can let gracious words proceed from our mouth consciously, to bless and edify our audience. Our mouth is a door-way to our spirit. What we say affects both us and those who hear us. Thus, we ought to watch the kind of words that proceed from our mouths. It is true according to God's Word that we are responsible for every word we speak and how we speak them. Hence, we must let faith and love season our speech. Let the anointing season your words. Let your words be an expression of grace. The grace of God teaches us to become aware of the ever present help in God, of His goodness and providence. To speak gracefully is to talk in the awareness of God's Eternal favour, love and mercies shown to us in Christ; to speak the victory we have in Christ Jesus and expect our faith to deliver; to bless and not curse; to edify and not discourage. The next time you are tempted to use negative words on yourself, other people, or to describe your circumstances, you must remind yourself that such speech is not in the awareness of what God has made available to you in Christ Jesus. Speak Grace! Speak victory! Speak love! Speak Faith! Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 Pet 3:10; Pro 12:18; Pro 15:4; Pro 18:21; Job 27:3-4; Psa 34:13 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You for helping me to carefully choose my words for the purpose of ministering grace to my hearers. I declare that my words are a substance of preservation. I speak Life, not death; I speak Grace, not disgrace in Jesus Name. AMEN.

Strengthened in Grace
2 Tim 2:1; 2 Pet 1:2 2 Tim 2:1Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Grace is the embodiment of all the benefits we freely enjoy through faith in Christ Jesus. We did not and will never work to earn it. It will always be a free gift which faith draws in our direction. Grace has been paid for; everything that is of grace is already paid for and delivered including healing, restoration, peace in your home, prosperity, safety and everything of the God-kind. God's grace is God at work in us. It is God's ability strengthening us to do what we cannot accomplish on our own naturally. It is God's involvement and investment in us to be willing and doing. It is a divine enabling gift for productivity. Faith is our legitimate access to grace (Rom 5:2; Eph 2:8). Faith comes by hearing God's Word (Rom 10:17). To be strong in grace, you have to seek establishment in the knowledge of God's Word, because God's Word is the Word of His grace. Scripture commands us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord, Jesus Christ. As we continually learn of Christ through His Word, we become more aware of the grace in Christ and all that is available to us in Him. This kind of awareness breeds strength in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. In addition, we can always come boldly to the Throne of Grace, through prayer, to find grace and obtain mercy to help in time of need. The boldness to come to the Father, which is faith, is ministered to us through the knowledge of God's Word. Beloved, learn the Word, believe the Word, receive the Word in prayer, and there shall be a performance of every word that God has spoken to you. Walk in Grace! Other Scriptures for Meditation: 2 Cor 8:7-9; 2 Cor 9:8; Phil 4: 23; 2 Thess 1: 12; Heb 13:9 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You for the opportunity to feed on Your Word for growth and development. I declare that I grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ, in Jesus Name. I am bold to take steps of faith in line with God's Word; steps required to unleash grace in all the affairs of my life in Jesus' Name. AMEN. 8

Meditate on These Things

Josh 1:8; 1 Tim 4:15-16 Josh 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Everybody meditates. Some don't just do it by choice. They allow all kinds of thoughts take root in their minds and later cry for help when things begin to spin out of control. God wants His children to meditate on His Word consciously. We are instructed to meditate on the Word of God daily (Jos.1:8). God's Word must be the object of our meditation. The Word of God is worthy of meditation. The Word was given to us to enable us reason like God; it is our divine configuration. Through meditation on the Word of God, we can restructure and re-configure our minds to reason like God. Meditating on the Word is fellowshipping with God. When you meditate on God's Word, you are saying it to yourself while in deep thought of it to create an inner consciousness (an inward image of God's Word) until it becomes a reality in your spirit. You say it to yourself until your inner consciousness comes to term with its reality. When that image is fully formed through meditation it will take over your thinking, you will begin to think like God thinks...in line with His Word. The result of this is a thought life rich with God's thoughts of prosperity, healing, peace, increase and so on. Think God's thoughts today and you will see them leap into being for the taking. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Psa 1:1-3; Gen 24:63; Psa 63:6; Psa 119:15; Psa 77:12 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I commit myself to thinking on Your Word day and night till I am saturated with the truth thereof in Jesus Name. My thought life produces godly desires and actions as a result of Your Word ruling my mind, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

Meditate on These Things II

Phil 4:8; Psa 1:1-3; Phil 2:5 Phil 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. You are a direct product of your thought life. No one has successfully been able to separate the outcomes of his life from his thoughts. In clear terms, you are what you constantly meditate upon. In fact, your personality will take on the character of your thought life. You can insist on the type and quality of thoughts that run in your mind daily. It is your responsibility to let the mind of Christ be in you, it is in your power to choose. The Word of God has given us a blueprint on how to choose what we ought to think upon. Judge your thoughts by these standards: True or truth (God's Word defines truth) Honest (Sincere) Just (Righteous) Pure (Holy) Lovely (of Agape Love) Good report (of Faith exploit) Virtue (Godly standard) Praise (things provoking praise to God) Think on these things!

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Josh 1:8; Psa 119:9, 11; Psa 63:6; Col 3:16; Pro 4:23 My Solid Front (Confession) Precious Father, I declare before You in the Name of Jesus that I give attention to the quality of thought that run on my mind. I choose this day to make myself think Your thoughts till it becomes my way of life in Jesus Name. AMEN.

Be of Good Cheer
John 16:33; Phil 4:4 John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. God has commanded us to rejoice in Him, because we may not feel like rejoicing at all times. This is due to the undulating tendencies of our emotions. Believers, sometimes, often allow challenges of life weigh them down, empty them of energy as well as deflate their countenance. This ought not to be our response to life's challenges. It is true that in this world we will face challenges and tribulations but it is more true that we have the victory already through our Lord's victory for us. ... but be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world. Why do we rejoice or be of good cheer in the face of tribulations and challenges in the world? The answer is not far-fetched. It is because Jesus Christ has overcome the world for us. In His substitutionary work, He defeated principalities and powers for us to have the ride over them. No matter what we face in this world, we have the confident assurance that our God is more than enough to always put us on top of it. In addition, the trying of our faith works patience. We become more stable and established as our faith is tried. The enemy means it for our overturning, but God turns it around for our development (James 1:12; Rom.5: 3-5) Halleluyah! Beloved, the summary of the matter is that we are more than conquerors through Other Scriptures for Meditation: Neh 8:10b; Psa 21:1; Hab 3:17-18; Job 41:22; 1 John 5:4 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You for You make me to triumph in all things for Your praise. Therefore, I rejoice always because the joy of the Lord is in my heart and that joy is my strength. I declare that through faith in Jesus' words to me, I find joy and strength to go through every test of life and I overcome in Jesus' Name. AMEN.

In the Likeness of God

Gen 1:26-28; John 1:12-13 Gen 1:26-27 And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. According to God's intent in the beginning, Man was to be a different creature from all that God created. He spoke other creatures into existence, but when it was Man's turn to be created, He said: let us make Man in our image, after our likeness. Other creatures were made by the Word of God; however, Man was born of God's Word with the character of His divine nature and person. God gave birth to Man. The first Man fell by transgression. The last Man rose by righteousness to restore Man to the original dignity of God's creation. In Christ Jesus, Man has become God's offspring. He is the representative of God on earth. Hallelujah! Beloved, you are in the image (nature) of God to function like Him (in His likeness). That is your true self in Christ. Do not allow your environment define you. Do not allow the elements of this world re-define you. You are the image of God and you are meant to function or act like Him. Begin to see yourself in the light of who the Word of God calls you. Refuse to condescend to the things of this world. You are of God and He is your reference point. Put this truth in your mouth and shout it on the roof top. Your identity is your reality; it is your possibility. Insist on who you are in Christ and refuse to stoop low to the dishonourable things of this world. You are like God and in His very image. Hallelujah! Other Scriptures for Meditation: Gen 1: 1-31; Gen 2:1-25; Col 1:14-22

My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You Father, for I'm created in Your image and likeness; I have Your nature and I am not apart from You. AMEN.

The Holy Spirit- The Promise of the Father

Joel 2:28-29; Acts 2:38-39 Acts 1:4-5 but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. The Lord Jesus called the Holy Spirit the promise of the Father. In the Old Testament, only kings, priests and prophets had the Holy Spirit on them, but God gave a promise through the prophet Joel (Joel 2:28) that the day would come when He would pour out His Spirit on all people. The Holy Spirit would no longer be the preserve of a select few but would be available to all through the redemptive work of Christ. This would be the fulfillment of the longing of Moses who said would God that all the LORD's people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them. Num 11:29. This promise of the Father was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost in Acts 2, resulting in Peter's words But this is that which was spoken by the prophet JoelI will pour out my Spirit upon all fleshActs 2:16-17. God has fulfilled the promise He made. Through Jesus Christ He has poured out His Spirit (Acts 2:33), and now all who believe in Jesus can receive the Blessed Holy Spirit of promise as it is written; Acts 2:38 Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. The promised Holy Spirit is for all who believe in the Lord Jesus, not for a few. Peter said the promise is to as many as the Lord God shall call. If you are a Believer in Jesus Christ you have been called of God to partake of the Spirit. 1 Cor 1:9 says God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. We have been called of God to the fellowship of His Son, and faithful is he that calleth you who also will do it. 1 Thess 5:24 Other Scriptures for Meditation: Gal 3:14; John 7:37-39; Eph 1:13; Eph 4:30; Acts 2:4 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, thank You for fulfilling the promise You made to pour out Your Spirit on all flesh. Today, I receive the Spirit in His fullness in Jesus' Name. AMEN. 8

Have You Received the Holy Spirit Since You Believed?

Acts 19:1-6; Acts 8:12-17
When the Apostle Paul got to Ephesus and found some disciples there, he asked them Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? The same question is put to you today, Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? Oh! How important it is to receive the infilling of the Spirit as a Believer. Notice that it was the first question Paul asked them when he found out that they were disciples. He could have asked them a thousand other questions first, but he didn't. He asked about the Holy Spirit. There are many who have believed in Jesus but have not yet received the in-filling of the Holy Spirit. Some think that believing in Jesus is the same as receiving the in-filling of the Holy Spirit, but the Bible shows us that there is a difference between the two. Notice that Paul only asked if they had received the Spirit after he found out that they were disciples. Also in Acts 8:14-17, Peter and John went down to Samaria to pray for the people there after they heard that they had received salvation in Christ through the message of Philip the Evangelist. The Bible tells us Acts 8:14-15 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Ghost. In Acts 2, on the day of Pentecost, about 120 people in the upper room received the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. They were all disciples of Jesus, people who believed in Him (Acts 1:15). Also in Acts 9, after Jesus appeared to Saul on his way to Damascus, Ananias was sent to him to pray for him to receive his sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts9:17).From these instances in the book of Acts, we can see clearly that everyone who has believed in Jesus ought to receive the in-filling of the Holy Spirit. If our faith is the same as theirs then we ought to have the same experiences they had. Ephesians 4:5 says there's One Lord, one faith, one baptism. Since we believe in the same Lord Jesus that they believed in, we ought to receive the same Holy Spirit that they received, there should be no difference. If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus today, Have you received the Holy Spirit since you believed? If your answer is negative, then, What are you waiting for, when are you going to be filled with the Spirit? If you are not sure you have received the Spirit, you need to be sure; when you have received the Holy Spirit, you'll know it. Receive the in-filling of the Spirit today in the name of Jesus Christ. Ask the Father for the in-filling of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus, and He will fill you.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 7:37-39; Gal 3:2; Acts 2:1-4; John 14:17; Gal 3:14 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Spirit is my portion in Christ Jesus, this very day, I receive by faith the Holy Spirit into every fibre of my being in Jesus mighty Name. AMEN.

Knowing the Person of the Holy Spirit

John 16:13-15
The Lord Jesus spoke so much to His disciples about the Holy Spirit in His final moments on earth. We ought to pay careful attention to the things He said about the Spirit because if there was anyone who had perfect knowledge of the Holy Spirit of God, it was Jesus the very Son of God who dwelt in the bosom of the Father. Jesus said Howbeit when He the Spirit of truth is come Notice He didn't say when it the Spirit of truth but when He the Spirit of truth. He spoke of the Holy Spirit as a person not as an impersonal phenomenon. There are people who believe that the Holy Spirit is a force -- the force of God, but this position is different from what the Bible reveals. The Holy Spirit is a Divine Person. What makes any person is the possession of a will, a mind and an emotion. He has traits and features of a person. He can speak, He has a will of His own, He has a mind, and He has an emotion. Jesus said the Spirit would speak to us about Him (John 16:13), a force certainly cannot speak. In Acts 13:2 the Scripture tells us that the Holy Ghost said Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. The Spirit of God has the ability to communicate by speaking, just like you and I can. Ephesians 4:30 says And grieve not the Holy Spirit of promise, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. This makes it clear that the Holy Spirit can be grieved. To grieve actually means to cause great sadness to somebody. You cannot grieve a force, a force cannot be sad; therefore if the Holy Spirit were just a force, then He couldn't be grieved. The Holy Spirit has a will of His own; that is, He can choose what to do or what not to do. 1 Corinthians 12:11 says But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to everyman severally as he will. An impersonal phenomenon cannot will to do one thing or the other, but the Holy Spirit has a will of His own. Romans 8:27 says And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. See the expression the mind of the Spirit showing us that the Holy Spirit has a mind of His own. The Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, and when we receive Him and relate with Him in this manner, we are able to maximally enjoy the benefits of His Presence in our lives.

The Indwelling of the Spirit

John 14:16-17; 1 John 2:27
The Lord Jesus told His disciples that the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth whom He was sending from the Father, would come and live inside them. That would be His permanent address throughout the Church dispensation on earth. When you received Jesus, and became a New Creation, you became the House of God, ready to be inhabited by His Spirit. This is why the Holy Spirit is given only to people who have believed in Jesus, not unbelievers. Unbelievers receive Jesus, Saints receive the Holy Spirit. When we receive the Holy Spirit, He comes to take residence in us; we become His permanent house address. Glory to God! 2 Corinthians 6:16 tells us what God had said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God and they shall be my people. This was the desire of God which was fulfilled in the New Man in Christ Jesus. Now God can dwell in us by His Spirit which is why we are told in 1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? We have become God's house, God's temple where His Spirit dwells. If you are born-again and have received the in-filling of the Holy Spirit, God's Spirit lives in you in His fullness and you must be conscious of His indwelling Presence. Many Believers live without a consciousness of the indwelling Spirit of God. This is why they live in defeat, because they haven't learnt to stay in touch with the Divine Helper that's on the inside of them. They've not learnt to draw from Him strength for their daily challenges. 1 John 4:4 says Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. There's One dwelling in you and He's the Greater One. If you will look to Him always, you will never know defeat in any form. The Spirit of God hasn't come to live in you just to occupy space; He has come to do some specific things. He will teach you the things of God (John 14:26), He will guide you concerning the future (John 16:13), He will vitalize your mortal body (Rom 8:11), He will help you in prayer (Rom 8:26-27), He will reveal to you the things that God has freely given (1 Cor 2:10-12), He will strengthen your inner man (Eph 3:16), He will help you desire and do God's will (Phil 2:13). There are many other benefits to enjoy from the indwelling Presence of the Holy Spirit, but you must develop a consistent consciousness of Him in order to maximize His Presence.

Yielding Your Tongue to the Holy Spirit Acts 2:1-4; Acts 10:44-46
When the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples on the day of Pentecost and filled them, they immediately began to speak with other tongues as inspired by the Spirit. One thing that is noticeable throughout Scripture is that whenever people were filled with the Holy Spirit, their tongues immediately responded by speaking out words inspired by the Spirit, whether in a known language or an unknown language. The in-filling of the Holy Spirit is always accompanied with speaking. Luke 1:40-41 tells us And it came to pass, thatElisabeth was filled with the Holy Ghost: And she spake out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed art thou among women Elisabeth the mother of John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit and she spoke out. She couldn't keep quiet; the Spirit gave her utterance in her known language. Further on in Luke 1:67, the Bible says And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying. John's Father also got filled with the Holy Spirit and began to prophesy as the Spirit gave him utterance. Praise God! In Acts 2:4, the Bible tells us that the disciples began to speak with other tongues or languages as the Holy Spirit gave them the utterance. But they didn't speak with other tongues until they were filled with the Spirit. The household of Cornelius the Centurion was not an exemption, for when they also received the Holy Spirit; they immediately began to speak with other tongues. Acts 10:44-46 tells us While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the wordfor they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. How did the Jewish Christians present know that the Gentiles had been filled with the Holy Ghost? They heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. In Acts 19 when Paul was at Ephesus and met some disciples, verse 6 says And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied. Again we see the result of these men receiving the Spirit, they spoke in other tongues and they prophesied which is a Holy Spirit inspired utterance in a known tongue. Finally, in Ephesians 5:18-19 the Bible says And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. The pattern established in the Scripture is that the in-filling of the Holy Spirit is accompanied with speaking of Holy Spirit-given words, both in known languages and in unknown languages. We also should expect the Holy Ghost to give us words to say as we receive Him in our lives.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Num 11:25; 2 Sam 23:1-2; John 6:63; Isa 50:4; Jam 3:1-18 My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You Father for the Promise of the Spirit is mine. I receive an in-filling of the Holy Spirit and I expect to speak Words inspired by the Spirit today in Jesus' Name. AMEN.

The Holy Spirit - Our Teacher

John 14:26; 1 John 2:27
The primary work of the Holy Spirit to the Believer is teaching. He is the Spirit of Truth (John 14:17) hence He brings us into the understanding and experience of truth. According to John 17:17, God's Word is truth, and since the Holy Spirit is the 'Spirit of Truth', we can safely say He is the Spirit of God's Word. He is the One that brings us to a real comprehension and understanding of God's Word. The Lord Jesus said to His disciples in John 16:12-13 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth The Lord knew that those disciples were limited in their ability to receive and understand spiritual things so He refrained from saying the things He wanted to say, waiting patiently for when the Holy Spirit would come. The Holy Spirit He said would guide them into all truth or reality. Without the Spirit of God in us, our ability to understand the things of God would be limited because the things of God are spiritual and spiritual things can only be understood spiritually. 1 Corinthians 2:14 tells us that the things of the Spirit of God are spiritually discerned or perceived. It is the Holy Spirit that communicates these things to us in a way that can be easily comprehended for us to grasp them. 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 says Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the word which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. The Holy Spirit makes known to us the things that God has freely given to us; He teaches us and imparts to us the understanding of the things of God. You must realize that your natural mind cannot grasp the truths of God, this is why the Holy Spirit has been sent, and if you are filled with the Spirit you need to acknowledge the teaching ministry of the Holy Spirit in your life. We are reminded of this in 1 John 2:27, it says But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teacheth you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all thingsye shall abide in him. Beloved, if you have received the Holy Spirit, know this for sure, the Teacher lives within you. You must give attention to Him in order that the plans of God for you may be fulfilled. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Eph 1:17-18; 1 John 2:20; Luke 12:12 My Solid Front (Confession) My Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Holy Spirit in me. Thank You for fresh insights and understanding of Your truths today by Your Spirit in Jesus' Name. AMEN.

The Holy Spirit Allos Parakletos

John 14:16; John 16:7-15 John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter that he may abide with you forever. The disciples of the Lord were sorrowing when He told them He was going away. He said to them in John 16:5-6 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou? But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your heart. They had been with Him for more than three years; He was their Teacher, Counselor, Guide, Provider and Lord. The One they cried to when they were in distress was going away and naturally sorrow filled their hearts. But the Lord said to them that it was to their advantage that He went away, because the Holy Spirit wouldn't come until He had gone. In John 14:16 He called the Holy Spirit another Comforter or Helper. In order to have a better understanding of the role the Holy Spirit has come to play in our lives, we need to take a careful look at the Greek words used for 'another Comforter' in that Scripture. The Greek word for another is 'allos' which means another of the same kind, quality or nature, which is different from the other Greek word, used for another which is 'heteros'. Heteros means another of different kind, quality or nature, so Jesus said the Holy Spirit is another Comforter that is of the same kind, quality and nature like Him. The other word 'Comforter' is the Greek word Parakletos' which literally means a person called or summoned to one's side, especially called to one's aid. That word can also mean intercessor, consoler, advocate, strengthener or helper. In essence therefore, Jesus was telling His disciples that He would send them another One just like Himself who would go with them in life, helping them along the way. The only difference was that this Comforter is a Spirit and they would have to relate with Him with their spirits not from the sense realm. Beloved, the Holy Spirit is the One sent by Jesus to be with you and help you; this is why it is so important to receive the Holy Spirit and to learn to walk with Him. Without His input in your life as a Christian, life will be a struggle because He's the Helper. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4; Eph 1:13-14; Eph 4:30 My Solid Front (Confession) I am not alone; the Helper is with and in me. He is always with me because Jesus said He will abide with me forever. 8

March 6
2 Cor 13:14; Acts 15:28 2 Cor 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. The word 'communion' in our text can also be fellowship, sharing together or participation. We have been called into communion or fellowship or sharing together with the Holy Spirit. This speaks of partnership because partnership is about sharing together with another person. The Holy Spirit has been sent to go with us throughout life. If you have received the Holy Spirit, everywhere you go He goes, everywhere you are, He is also. We must therefore learn to walk with Him and partner with Him in order to maximize His Presence in our lives. Partnering with the Holy Spirit begins with having a continuous awareness of His ever-abiding Presence. You must believe that He lives in you according to God's Word whether or not you feel like it, and you must acknowledge with your mouth what you believe-that He dwells in you. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. The early Church walked in a great awareness of the Holy Spirit; they were always talking about Him. In Acts 5:32 Peter acknowledged that they were witnesses of Christ's resurrection together with the Holy Spirit. Again in Acts 15:28 in a letter addressed to the churches of the Gentiles, the apostles and elders of the Church said For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things The Holy Spirit was a party in their decision making council, He was present with them and they acknowledged Him. In Acts 8:29-39, Philip, in partnership with the Holy Spirit, was able to win the Ethiopian Eunuch to Christ thereby making it possible for the gospel to come to Africa. Paul also partnered with the Spirit of God during his missionary journeys as we see in Acts 16:6-10. In fact, his ministry with Barnabas started as a result of the instruction of the Holy Spirit (Acts 13:1-4). Paul's ministry started by the Spirit, and he stayed sensitive to the leading of the Spirit, and this resulted in success for him as an apostle of Christ. You too can walk in partnership with the Holy Spirit today; your success in life depends on Him. Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 5:19-20; Zech 4:6; 1 Cor 12:11 My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You Heavenly Father for the partnership of the Spirit; because of Him I know that all that I do will turn out successfully in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Partnering with the Spirit II

Gen1:1-3; John 14:16-17 Gen 1:1-3 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. In Genesis 1, the Spirit of God was moving upon the face of the deep, yet there was darkness until God said Let there be light, then light came. The Spirit of God moved into action in creation when God began to speak, He is the Spirit of the Word of God; He acts with and upon the Word of God. The Spirit of God is one with the Word of God; 1 John 5:7 says For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, that's what Jesus called Him in John 14:17; He always works in agreement with truth. In John 17:17 Jesus said while praying to the Father Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. The Word of God is truth, and since the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth, He is the Spirit of God's Word; He always works in line or in agreement with God's Word. The Holy Spirit will not say or do anything that is contrary to the will and Word of God. There can be no partnership with the Holy Spirit without a partnership with the Word of God. We need to renew our minds to think in line with God's Word so we can act accordingly; the more we do this, the more we experience the participation or fellowship of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Amos 3:3 says Can two walk together except they be agreed? For us to effectively walk with and partner with the Holy Spirit, we must think His thoughts, speak His Word and do His deeds. God said in Isaiah 55:8-9, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. We cannot walk with Him without exchanging our thoughts with His, without us allowing His thoughts rule and dominate our thinking. Make a commitment to God's Word today so that you can maximize the Holy Spirit's Presence in your life. Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 John 5:7; Josh 1:8; Jam 1:22-25; Eph 6:17; John 6:63; Col 3:16-17 My Solid Front (Confession) I boldly confess that as I think the thoughts of God, speak the Words of God and do the deeds of God, the workings of the Holy Spirit are made more manifest in my life, in Jesus' Name. AMEN. 8

Partnering with the Spirit IV

Eph 4:29-31; 1 Thess 5:19 Eph 4:29-31 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice We cannot walk with the Holy Spirit effectively without knowing His Person, Nature and character. We must know the things that please Him and the things that displease Him. When a man marries a woman, he learns to do the things that please her and vice versa. In the same manner, two individuals in a friendship learn to do the things that would please the other. To continually and persistently do the things that displease one's spouse or friend is to despise them. It shows that we do not hold them in high honour, and do not care about how they feel. No relationship can last that way; both parties might end up their separate ways. The same can be said of us God's children and the Holy Spirit. Though He has come to abide with and in us forever according to Jesus (John 14:16), we must be careful not to displease or grieve Him. Where will you go to for help if your Helper is grieved? According to Ephesians 4:29-32, the Holy Spirit is grieved when we allow corrupt communication, bitterness, wrath, anger, clamour, evil speaking, malice or unforgiveness in our lives. Beloved, you cannot afford to grieve the Spirit of God in you. He is the only true Helper that you have; the help of men is vain without His help. If you are a child of God and you are currently harbouring in your heart or walking in any of the things listed in Ephesians 4:29-32, its time to repent. Receive forgiveness today and renew your relationship with the Holy Spirit, the Blessed Helper. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Isa 63:10; Gal 5:16-25; Mark 11:25-26; Jam 1:19-20 My Solid Front (Confession) My Heavenly Father, thank You for your Spirit living in me. I do not by my thoughts, words or deeds bring grief to your Spirit. My life continually brings joy to the Holy Spirit in Jesus' Name. AMEN. 8

Quench Not the Spirit

Acts 2:3; 1 Thess 5:19-20 1 Thess 5:19-20 Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. In the above Scripture, we are exhorted not to quench the Spirit. This immediately suggests to us that the Spirit of God can be quenched. What does it mean to quench the Spirit? We can get a better understanding of the word by looking at a few other Bible versions. The Amplified Bible says Do not quench (suppress or subdue) the [Holy] Spirit The Phillips New Testament version says Never damp the fire of the Spirit God's Word version says Don't put out the Spirit's fire. From the different Bible translations, it's clear that to quench the Spirit is to suppress Him; it's to damp or put out His fire. One of the Scriptural symbols of the Holy Spirit is fire. On the day of Pentecost, in Acts 2:3 when the Holy Ghost came upon the disciples in the upper room, the Scripture says cloven tongues like fire came upon the disciples. The Holy Spirit comes like fire hence the admonition to not quench Him. To quench the Spirit means that the Holy Spirit is not given room to move or express Himself in our lives either as individuals or as a body of believers gathered together. There are people who think that the Holy Spirit will move whenever He wills and that nothing we do could hinder Him from moving. But 1 Thessalonians 5:19 shows us that we could hinder the Holy Spirit from moving. The next verse, 1 Thessalonians 5:20 says Despise not prophesyings. Notice that verse 19 and 20 are linked together. In essence when we despise prophesyings we quench the Spirit of God. This applies to other manifestations and workings of the Holy Spirit too. In 1 Corinthians 14:39, Paul said Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. We must not come to the place where we feel we are too dignified or too sophisticated for the move of the Holy Spirit. We must continually place value on the workings of the Spirit in our midst.
Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 Sam 2:30; Rom 12:11; Gal 5:17; Eph 5:18-19

My Solid Front (Confession) Holy Spirit of God, I appreciate You and all that You do in my life. Your workings are precious to me; I do not treat them lightly. Have your way in me today, precious Spirit of God. AMEN. 8

Be Filled Afresh With the Spirit!

Eph 5:18; Acts 4:31 Though we have been filled with the Holy Spirit at one time in our lives, the Word of God shows us that we can have more of Him; more of Him in terms of experiencing His Presence in a fresh way. Ephesians 5:18 says And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit. This portion of the Scriptures was written to people who had already been filled with the Spirit in time past, and Paul was letting them know they ought to continually stay filled with the Holy Spirit. When he first went to Ephesus in Acts 19, he ministered to them and they were filled with the Holy Spirit; now in his letter to them, he wanted them to know that being filled with the Spirit was not a once-for-life experience, but rather an ever continuous one for the believer. In Acts 4:31, we see the apostles who had earlier been filled with the Holy Spirit in Acts 2, get filled again with the Holy Spirit. This shows us that we can get filled again and again with the Spirit. And it is so important that we are constantly filled with the Spirit because our effectiveness as believers depends entirely upon the Holy Spirit. Now how were the apostles filled with the Holy Spirit in the beginning? They were in an atmosphere of prayer and devotion to God in the upper room. In Acts 1:13-14, the Bible shows us that they all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication; it was in that atmosphere that they were first filled with the Holy Spirit. The next time it was recorded that they were filled with the Holy Spirit was in Acts 4:31, and again it was after a prayer meeting. Whenever they gathered and prayed something happened -- they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Even the Lord Jesus received the Spirit upon Him in an atmosphere of prayer. Luke 3:21-22 says Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him Notice that while He was being baptized, He was praying, and the Holy Ghost descended upon Him. An atmosphere of prayer is the right atmosphere for receiving a fresh in-filling of the Holy Ghost just as we have seen in the lives of Jesus and the Apostles. Other Scriptures for Meditation: John 7:37-39; Luke 18:1; 1 Cor 14:1-15; Jude 20 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father, in the Name of the Lord Jesus, I ask for a fresh in-filling of Your Spirit today as I pray. Thank you for granting me this request in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Desiring the Things of the Spirit

Isa 44:3; 1 Cor 14:1 1 Cor 14:1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul wrote extensively about the various manifestations of the Spirit of God and ended the chapter by saying But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. He went on to speak about love as the more excellent way in chapter 13 and then in verse 1 of chapter 14 he said Follow after charity and desire spiritual gifts Notice that he said in 1 Corinthians 12:31 covet earnestly the best gifts and then 1 Corinthians 14:1 desire spiritual gifts. The Greek word for 'covet earnestly' is 'zeloo', which means to have warmth of feeling for or against something or somebody. It could also mean to desire something or be moved with jealousy about something. It's the same word used in chapter14:1 when he said desire spiritual gifts. We must have a fervent passion for the things of the Spirit of God. God has no room for lukewarm people, Jesus said in Revelation 3:15 I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarmI will spue thee out of my mouth. It takes a burning desire to experience the things of the Spirit of God. This is the reason why many of God's children don't experience more of God's Spirit- they do not have a genuine desire for more of Him. The Holy Spirit is likened to water in the Scripture, and only those who thirst for Him will be filled. God said in Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring. Jesus said in Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Only those who hunger and thirst after the things of God will be filled, there's no room for lukewarmness. According to Hebrews 11:6, God only rewards those who seek Him diligently. Beloved will you reach out today in fervent desire for more of the Spirit of God in your life? God has promised to give to all who ask. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Luke 11:13; Isa 41:17-18; Psa 46:4-5; John 7:37-39 My Solid Front (Confession) My heart is desirous of more of the Holy Spirit today, I value the things of the Spirit and I hold them in high esteem. 8

The Holy Spirit helps us in Prayer

Rom 8:26-27; 1 Cor 14:1-15 Rom 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. One of the most important things the Holy Spirit does for us is to help us pray. Romans 8:26-27 tells us that the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities or weaknesses. The word 'helpeth' is the Greek word 'sunantilambanomai' which means 'to take hold together with against', it also means to assist. The word 'infirmities' refers to 'feebleness of the body or mind'; it refers to the limitations we have as humans when it comes to praying accurately. It means that the Holy Spirit takes hold together with us against our weaknesses or inability to produce results. He assists us to overcome our limitations when it comes to praying effectively. Verse 26 of Romans 8 says for we know not what we should pray for as we ought. It means that we do not always know how to pray to get an answer in every situation of life. Some things that come against us seem so overwhelming such that we find it challenging praying about those things, they may be things connected to us personally or things that have to do with others. It is at such moments that we need the help of the Holy Spirit to pray. The Bible says He helps our weaknesses. How does He do it? Romans 8:26 says the Spirit maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. That's how He does it, with groaning within us which cannot be uttered in articulate speech. The Amplified version calls it 'unspeakable yearnings and groaning too deep for utterance'. The Revised Standard Version says the Spirit himself intercedes for us with sighs too deep for words. As we begin praying, He comes to our aid within us, helping us in prayer with deep groanings and sighs that our human words cannot articulate. When this begins to happen all we need to do is to yield and allow the Holy Spirit pray through us completely until we have the 'note' of victory within us. Then you know that whatever it is you have prayed about is done. Hallelujah!

Eze 36:27; Rom 5:5 Eze 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. God spoke through the prophet Ezekiel about what He would do for the house of Israel in the latter days. He said He would enable them to walk in His statutes and judgment by putting His Spirit within them. Keeping the commandments of God would no longer be a struggle but something that comes naturally, because of the Spirit of God within. That Scripture not only applies to Israel of old but to us who have become partakers of the promises of Israel through Jesus Christ (Eph 2:11-13). Now God has put His Spirit within us and we can keep all of His Word. Doing God's will and pleasing Him now comes to us naturally because God's Spirit lives in us. Little wonder Paul wrote to the Philippians saying For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Phil 2:13 Beloved, God is at work in you both to will and to do His good pleasure. Serving God is no longer burdensome or grievous to us; we love to do His will because we have been born of Him and His Spirit lives in us. God is at work in you by His Spirit. Romans 5:5 tells us that the Love of God has been poured forth in our hearts by the Holy Spirit. Now we can walk in love, we can express the God-kind of love to all men by the enabling of the Holy Spirit of God. When God gave His people the law and the commandments under the old covenant, most of them struggled to keep His Word, but thank God that for us, God has fulfilled His promise; He has put His Spirit in us and we can keep all of His statutes and judgments. Hallelujah! Beloved, you don't have to struggle to obey God if you have been born-again. God's Spirit lives in you and all you need to do is to trust Him to help you and to yield to Him every single time. When you do that you will be able to say Indeed His commandments are not grievous or burdensome Other Scriptures for Meditation: Heb 8:9-11; 1 John 5:3; Eph 3:14-21; Heb 10:7 My Solid Front (Confession) God is at work within me by His Spirit today. Integrity; Consistency of Character

2 Cor 1:17-19; Job 27:4-5; Ps 25:21 Scripturally, the Word Integrity means completeness. This portrays an idea of a man's spirit and soul and body being in alignment. The three components are geared in the same direction to achieve a specific goal. The word "integrity" stems from the Latin adjective integer (whole, complete). In this context, integrity is the inner sense of "wholeness" deriving from qualities such as honesty and consistency of character. It is important to know that the basis of our Faith is the Integrity of God's Word. Hebrews 10:23 says Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised. The basis of our Faith is that God is trustworthy because over the years, He has been found faithful. You can build your life on His Word because the Word cannot be faulted in any way. The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. (Psa 12:6) To have integrity as a person means to be dependable. Before a man can be trusted, He must have consistency of character which means that there is a constant alignment of his speech and actions. One of the most important virtues any leader can possess is the ability to say a thing and act accordingly. As Children of God, we have been called to a life of Integrity; living a life where we are ruled by our words, acting exactly like God. Psalm 138:2 says I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. This Scripture shows us that God is ruled by what He says. Hence, integrity is to be ruled by our words. Beloved, Biblical integrity is not just doing the right thing; so as new creations, it's a matter of having the right heart (motives) and allowing the person you are on the inside to match the person you are on the outside. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Matt 5:37; Jam 5:12; Pro 11:3; Psa 78:72 My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You Father because the seed of God is in me, therefore I declare that I am a Man of integrity. I am sound and complete. I declare that there is a constant alignment of my spirit and soul and body, in Jesus name. AMEN. 8

Being a Person of Your Word

Exo 8:28-32; Jam 5:12 Jam 5:12 But before all things, my brothers, do not swear; neither by the heaven nor by the earth, nor any other oath. But let your yes be yes, and your no, no, lest you fall into condemnation. A wealthy businessman lay on his deathbed. His pastor came to visit and talked about God's healing power and prayed for him. When the pastor was done, the businessman said, "Preacher, if God heals me, I'll give the church a million dollars." Miraculously, the businessman got better and within a short time, was out of the hospital. Several months later, the pastor bumped into this businessman on the sidewalk and said, You know, when you were in the hospital dying, you promised to give the church a million dollars if you got well. We have not received it yet. The businessman replied, Did I say that? I guess that goes to show how sick I really was! The words of a man of integrity are his bond. He is bound by whatever he or she says, irrespective of the circumstances surrounding the fulfillment of his or her word. Integrity is integrating your heart's value into your daily actions. Your yes must be yes and your no must be no. For people to depend on us, they must have seen over time that we mean what we say and say what we mean. The moment you have to always swear before people can believe you, then your integrity is in question. Integrity is a priceless jewel; it is telling the truth at all time. If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything, but if you don't tell the truth you have to remember what you said. Integrity provides a firm foundation. In itself, it is capital. Be a person of your words Other Scriptures for Meditation: 2 Cor 1:18-19; Matt 5:37; 1 John 2:27; 2 Tim 2:15 My Solid Front (Confession) I declare in Jesus name that I walk in integrity and uprightness of heart. I am not a hypocrite; therefore by the help of the Spirit, I speak the truth all the time even in the face of danger. I am a dependable and trustworthy person in Jesus Name. AMEN.

Practice what you preach

Matt 23: 16-28; 1Tim 4:15-16 1 Tim 4:16 Keep a firm grasp on both your character and your teaching. Don't be diverted. Just keep at it. Both you and those who hear you will experience salvation. (MSG) The opposite of integrity is hypocrisy. Clearly, the Pharisees and teachers of the law in Jesus' day failed to live up to that standard. Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for saying one thing and doing another. Their lack of integrity was not only substandard for those who would follow Christ, as religious leaders they were guilty of misrepresenting God. When leaders throw integrity to the wind, protges in the things of God are misled and their tender hearts are bruised with pains of regrets and illusions of the reality. This is the reason why the Bible stresses the need for leaders to be people of integrity, the level of leadership notwithstanding. Integrity in the biblical sense doesn't just mean doing what you say, but it means acting in line with the word of God that is in your spirit. Beloved, you are a leader in your own respect. You carry a measure of influence and you can influence someone with your gift, calling, talent and grace. Be careful how you speak and carry yourself, because somebody is watching either nearby or far away. Do all you do in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ as His able representative to the end that you may save yourself and your audience. In 1 Timothy 4:16, Paul exhorts Timothy to watch two things: his life and his doctrine. In other words, we have to give careful attention to our behaviours and beliefs. Make sure they match. We have to constantly examine ourselves to see whether or not our walk matches our talk. Be a doer of the Word! Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1Tim 4:12; Jam 5:12; Job 27:5; Psa 25:21; Pro 20:7

My Solid Front (Confession) I declare in Jesus name that I am a doer of God's word, I practice what I preach. My life is consistent with my doctrine and by the way I live my life, men love to become Christians. I declare that I am an example for others to follow in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

National Integrity
1 Sam 12:1-4; Heb 6:18 Psa 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Honesty or integrity is the most preferred of all the traits of leadership. Everyone wants to be sure that their leaders can be trusted. Trust is a product of performance and credibility. Becoming a person of integrity begins at one's immediate circle of influence. This is known as local integrity. However, it can also cut across board beyond one's immediate circle of influence; this is known as national integrity. National integrity begins with local integrity, which is, being faithful in little things no matter how insignificant they may seem. Prophet Samuel had a national integrity so much that it attracted God's testimony. The sons of Eli made themselves vile but Samuel did not join them. He lived such an upright life that none of His words fell to the ground. 1Sam 3:19 And Samuel grew, and the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. This meant that everything Samuel said stood fast. That in itself is integrity. What a life! Looking at the life of Samuel, it becomes worthy of note that integrity of heart is a force of life back of every word we speak to bring them to pass. A heart of Integrity enables the hands to perform what the mouth proclaims. Matt 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. There is something called image maintenance; spending vast amount of energy trying to get people to think about you the way you want to be thought about, putting up a false facade before people. That doesn't show a consistent lifestyle. We are to live with consistency in public and in private, because our Father sees what is done in secret (Matthew 6:4). God wants us to imitate Him in all things because He made us in His image to function like Him. Beloved, start with being a person of integrity locally and then move beyond borders to the ends of the world, blazing with shining integrity. Remember, you are the light of the world. Shalom. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Pro 2:8; Num 23:19; Rev 3:8; 1 Pet 2:12; 1 Tim 4:12 My Solid Front (Confession) Heavenly Father I declare that my life is attractive everywhere I go because Your beauty is upon me. I declare that my life is consistent with Your Word whether in public or in private; I am a man of integrity in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

March 18

Benefits of Integrity
Gen 20:1-6; Pro 2:7-8 Pro 20:7 The just man walks in his integrity: his children are blessed after him. Integrity of heart comes with a lorry-load of benefits. The blessings of God always go with a man of integrity. Abimelech's life was spared because God saw that his action was done in the integrity of his heart. A lot of people have been preserved because they exhibited integrity. God tries the hearts, so we need to understand that motives count with God; He is the God of knowledge and by Him actions are weighed. Mat 6:1 Take heed that you do not do your merciful deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward with your Father in Heaven. God guards the way of the just and protects the way of the faithful ones. Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner Prov 13:6. Integrity establishes in favour with God and with men. It brings steady increase and abiding wealth. Prov 10:9 says People with integrity have firm footing, but those who follow crooked paths will slip and fall (NLT). Integrity of heart shields from the fear of judgement; it protects from the respect of persons. Integrity is the true flag of justice and equity; it delivers from the snare of men. The beauty of Christianity is that we need not struggle to attain integrity in our lives. The grace of God is available to turn us in the right direction. God gives us the will and desire to walk in his righteous paths. However, we must learn to work out His will in our lives by faith, which is, acting on His Word. Doers of the Word are people of integrity. Phil 2:13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Psa 41:11-12; Titus 2:7-8; 1 Cor 2:1-4; 2 Cor 3:12; 2 Cor 7:4 My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You Heavenly Father because You work in me both to will and to do of Your good pleasure. Therefore, I yield myself to Your workings in me and bring forth fruits in accordance to Your will in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

The Fruit of The Spirit

Gal 5: 17-23; John 15:1-8 Gal 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. The Holy Spirit has come into our lives for many reasons. One of which is to help the Believer develop godly character. The Holy Spirit's indwelling in the Believer is geared towards energizing him to bear the fruits consistent with the nature and character of God. The fruit of the spirit is the fruit of the recreated human spirit, not the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Reading Galatians 5:17-23 in context, we understand that the flesh lusts against our recreated human Spirit (not the Holy Spirit). Jesus Christ is the Vine and we are the branches. In the Vine, the branches bear the fruits. We are the fruitbearing part of the Vine (Jesus Christ). John 15:1-7 According to Genesis 1:11 ...every tree yields fruit after its own kind; meaning that the Holy Spirit helps our spirit to produce fruit after the nature of God, thereby producing godly character. This is because we have been born of God's life and nature; we have God's 'DNA'. Love is the centrality of the Christian faith. It is the height of spiritual development. Our recreated spirits ought to bear the fruit of love, because the Holy Spirit is in us to strengthen our hearts to bear the fruit of love. A good seed sown into a good soil will produce good fruits. Therefore, to produce godly fruit according to John 15: 4-5, is to abide in the vine, which is, Christ. In other words, for us to yield godly fruits, we have to yield ourselves firstly to the Spirit of God in us through meditation in the Word, prayer and acting on the Word. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom 7:4; 1 Cor 6:19; Matt 7:17-18; Rom 6:22; Eph 5:9 My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You Heavenly Father because I am a Possessor of the divine nature and the Holy Spirit dwells in me .Therefore, I declare that I have the capacity to produce godly fruits and I bring forth fruits unto the glory and praise of my God, in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Maintaining A Gentle Spirit

Tit 3:1-5; 2 Tim 2:23-25 2 Tim 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient The Word of God places on the Believer the responsibility of stirring up the gift of God in him. Gentleness is the quality of being calm and well-tempered within. The word gentleness means to possess moral excellence in character or demeanor. It does not mean to be quiet externally, but internally. It is a display of inward strength of control and stability. Gentleness is the opposite of a harsh, crooked, and crabbed temper. It is a disposition easy to be pleased; it is the quality of being polite. It is highly required that God's Children be friendly and not ill-tempered. We must not strive with people, but must be courteous, friendly and gentle unto all. We must develop some sweetness in our attitude such that people will always love to be around us. We definitely cannot please everyone but by the help of the Spirit, we have been saddled with the responsibility of treating people well. As Christians we must not vilify another man neither must we speak impiously of people. We must learn to bridle the tongue and channel its power towards the edification of everybody around us. Titus 3:2 says To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all meekness unto all men. Abraham exemplified gentleness in his dealings with his nephew, Lot. Gen 13:8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdsmen and thy herdsmen; for we are brethren. We ought to take after this astute demonstration of fine gentleness. In dealing with people, we must seek to please them rather than seeking our own interests. In honour, we must learn to prefer others to ourselves. This is the way of Christ. Other Scriptures for Meditation: Phil 4:5; Jam 3:17; Eph 4:32; 1 Tim 6:6; 1 Cor 11:16 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You that You made me with the capacity to act like You. I declare that I am a graceful attraction, a magnetism of pleasantness. I declare that I have deep respect and consideration for others, coupled with a forgiving spirit. I declare that the kindness of Jesus is seen in me, in Jesus name. AMEN. 8

Striving For Mastery

Gal 5:23; 1 Cor. 9:25 1 Cor 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. Temperance is an element of Christian character. Of all the elements that constitute Christian character, temperance is a key to adding on the other elements, without which there can't be roundedness. Temperance simply means self-control. It is selfdenial to give up the good for the better; the better for the best. Self-control is needed to transform from glory to glory. Temperance is required to walk with the Lord. And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself Luke 9:23. It is an easy yoke of learning to acquire the knowledge of God. Learning in God's kingdom is not possible without temperance. According to 1 Corinthians 9:25, success and temperance are indispensable duo. It takes temperance to make it to the end in every sphere of life. Temperance is the ability to endure discomforts, hardships and disciplines in order to achieve a goal. ..and exercise thyself rather unto godlinessbut godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. 1 Tim 4: 7-8. The ability to go through the required training that brings victory in life comes through temperance. Beloved, temperance is the quality of the human spirit. The New Man in Christ has the potential within to develop temperance through meditating and acting on the Word. Do not allow the appetites of the body rule you. It is your responsibility to put your body under. Every time you act on the Word when it is not convenient for your flesh, you develop capacity for temperance. Act on the Word and grow stronger within. Shalom
Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 Cor 15:9-10; Col 4:17; 1 Cor 3:9; Gal 5:16-17

My Solid Front (Confession)

I declare that I am temperate in my thoughts, words, and actions. I live a disciplined life-in private and in public. I have complete mastery of my body, my mind, my emotions and will. My time, my possessions, my desires and appetites are subject to the authority of God's Word. By the power of temperance within me, I declare that I never lose control of myself, my situations and circumstances in Jesus Name. AMEN.

Put Your Body Under!

Gal 5:23; 1 Cor 9:24-27 I Cor 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. According to God's Word, it is your responsibility to put your body under the control of your born again spirit. This puts on you the onus to oversee what goes on in and with your body. At New Birth, the spirit of man becomes born again, his soul needs to be renewed by the Word of God, and his body needs to be subdued by his born again spirit (John 3:6; Rom 12:2). The body always seeks to do wrong and lead astray, because it is not born again. The salvation of the body will come at the catching up of the saints (I Cor 15: 52-53; Phil 3:20-21). However, before our vile bodies are changed, it is our charge to keep them under. Beloved, it is your responsibility to exercise self-restraint in all things; in eating, talking, sleeping etc. You must learn not to yield to the dictates of the flesh or indulge the flesh. God has made you the Overseer of your own body. You have authority over your own body. Do not allow looseness, gluttony, indiscipline, wrong habits rule in your body. You can rule your body in the name of Jesus. Use the name of Jesus in faith to put your body under the godly influence of your recreated human spirit. 2 Tim 2:4 No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier. Govern what comes out of your mouth by love and faith. Do not let your mouth cause you to offend. in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. James 3:2. Bridle your tongue by exercising authority over it in Jesus name. Living a life of self-control is the key to receiving an incorruptible crown.
Other Scriptures for Meditation: Jam 1:19-20; Gal 5:13; Phil 2:13; 1 Pet 3:3-4

My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You Father because I am temperate in all things and I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I therefore declare that by the help of the Spirit of God in me, I constantly put my body under and I lay hold of the incorruptible crown in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Joy - God's Ideal Environment

Gal 5:22; Phil 4:4 Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
In Genesis 2:8 God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. Eden actually meant the place of God's presence. Man lived in the place of God's presence before the Fall. God would come in the cool of the day to fellowship with man. According to Psalms 16:11, God's presence is the place of full joy; meaning, man lived in the place of full joy. That was the ideal environment for man to function at an optimal level. Sorrow was a result of the fall; it started in Genesis 3:16-17. Depression was never part of God's plan for man. Sin evicted man from that ideal environment, but thanks to God who has restored us back into our ideal environment through Christ Jesus, our Lord. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. John 15:11 Not only are we in joy, the joy of the Lord is in us as well. The Word of God in us is His joy within us. We have a responsibility to see that we express His joy that is in our hearts, thereby creating an atmosphere of rejoicing around us. Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice This is a revelation of truth that our joy is only in the Lord. The Lord is the object of our joy, not things. He is the reason we rejoice and believe things will always change for the better. Our joy does not depend on what man can give us; it does not depend on situations and circumstances. It depends only on the immutability of God's goodness and lovingkindness. We have an unchanging Father who continually loves and cares for us. Happiness is based on occurrences and circumstances around us. Joy is a force in our spirits that does not depend on circumstances but is based on revelation knowledge. We need to diligently feed on God's Word (our manual for living), allowing His Word to have the final say in our lives. This way, when we are faced with horrific situations we can laugh because we know that God's Word has the final say, and not the problem. Always rejoice because that is God's ideal environment for your optimal performance.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Jer 15:16; Isa 51:3; Job 38:7; Psa 35:27; Psa 40:16; Isa 51:11 My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You Father because You dwell in me, therefore my life is filled with joy. I declare that my joyful disposition is contagious and it spreads abroad the aroma of Your everlasting goodness in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Joy Unspeakable
1 Pet 1:6-8; Jer 15:16 1 Pet 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory.
Words are too shallow to unveil the richness of God's joy. That is the reason why it is labeled 'unspeakable' in Scriptures. When you can't speak it, you can shout it. When you can't speak it, you can dance it. Just be sure you are responding to God's joy in you somehow. Remember this: No matter what comes your way, you will always come back with a testimony, for the path of the just is as a shining light that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. James 1:2 says my brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. You may ask, How possible is it to rejoice in times of tests and trials? The answer is in James 1:3-4 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience but let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. The key phrase here is, 'knowing this'; it unlocks the door to the wealth this scripture contains. In other words, the key to rejoicing is revelation knowledge. You are aware that you are the offspring of the Truth, and that there is nothing that can be done against you but for you. Beloved, the Word of God in your spirit is your rejoicing. Jer 15:16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. The Bible admonishes us to rejoice in the Lord always because it is our strength (Neh.8:10). Jesus was able to go through the sufferings of the cross and of death by the strength of the joy that was set before Him. Heb 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame The key to joy unspeakable is revelation knowledge. How much of God's Word you have stored up in you will determine how you will react in the face of adverse circumstances.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom 5:3-5; Psa 5:11; Isa 55:12; Isa 65:18; Zeph 3:17 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You because I have revelation knowledge. My joy springs from the knowledge of God in my spirit. Thank you Lord because I can rejoice, for You have overcome the world for me. I have constant victory in life, no matter what I go through, in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

The Perfection of Patience

Gal 5:22; 1 Sam 13:5-14 Jam 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
We live in a world where things are moving at a very fast pace such that information travels at the speed of light. There are fast foods, super-speed microwave ovens, Falcon Hypersonic airplanes and automated teller machines (ATMs) among many other products of our jet age. Almost unknowingly, this generation is fast loosing grip of the vital part of life that makes everything work - Patience. Patience is the quality of being constant in the face of changing shifting situations and circumstances. It is the ability to endure the bad for the good; it is the strength to stay faithful in the midst of staggering tempting circumstances to be unfaithful. The Word declares: he that believes shall not make haste (Isa 28:16). Biblical Faith is always an expression of patient trust in Jehovah. Patience is the twin brother of Faith. Too many people quit before their miracles hatch. Many have forsaken the path of destiny because of impatience. Many have landed on the wrong foot in life due to premature exposure borne out of impatience. We cannot afford to be hasty in our decision making just because we feel like God failed to come through at the time we so expected. This was the problem of Saul in 1 Samuel 13:8-14. When Samuel did not show up on time, Saul offered a sacrifice he was not supposed to offer and that action rubbed him of his kingdom. Patience matures (Jam 1:3-4). Perfection is maturity. It is true that men are more patient than boys, and boys are more patient than little children. Perfection is not in view without patience. In Malachi 3:3, the prophet wrote that God shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver The word 'sit' in the Hebrew means to dwell, settle, to marry or tarry. We also have to learn patience in order to align to the dealings of God in our lives.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom 5:3-5; Rom 15:4-5; 2 Cor 6:4; Col 1:11; 2 Pet 1:5-8 My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You Father for the understanding of the perfection of patience. I declare that I never make hasty decisions or speak hasty words. I am not quick at jumping to conclusions. I face opposition and discouragement with composure. I never give up, in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

Patience's Perfect Work

Luke 8: 4-15; Rom 5:3-5 Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience. A good understanding of the parable of the sower is a pre-requisite to understanding all other parables the Master employed to explain the kingdom of God (Mark 4:13). The parable of the sower reveals how the Believer can become fruitful in his walk of faith. It is evident through out Scriptures that we have been ordained and sent forth to bear abiding fruits (John 15:16). The first thing God said to man when He blessed them was, be fruitful. This shows that fruitfulness is the main theme in God's heart (Gen. 1:28). There are three accounts of this parable. The book of Luke reveals that those who brought forth fruit to maturity did so with patience. Patience is a major determinant of fruitfulness. Notice that in the parable of the sower, all the soils were exposed to the same weather conditions. However, the hearers who endured brought forth fruits with patience. Patience means endurance and constancy. In the parable of the sower, the scorching sun stands for tribulation and persecution (Matt 13:5, 21). Beloved, trying periods are only survived by the patient. Rom 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience. Jam 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. When tribulations and persecutions react with your faith, patience is worked out, which in turn matures you. Hence, when tribulations come your way, face them with your faith. Stop running from the challenges of life! Your faith in God matures in the oven of challenges. The bakery that produces the loaves of bread that we all enjoy is not a cold place; it is a hot place. The very moment you understand the effects of patience, you will begin to rejoice in the Lord. Hallelujah! Other Scriptures for Meditation: Eph 4:1-3; Heb 10:36 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You for Your ability in me for patience. I declare that in the Name of Jesus, I have capacity to be stable in all that I do. Therefore ,I declare that I bring forth abiding fruits unto maturity. AMEN. 8

Peace With God

Rom 5:1-2; Eph 2:12-18 Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. When we were sinners, we were in enmity with God. This was evidenced by our rebellion against God and His eternal laws. In Adam and by his transgression, mankind fell. However, Jesus was delivered for our transgression and was raised for our justification so that the way might be paved for peace to reach those who believe in Him. Peace with God is purely by faith. In Christ Jesus, we have been reconciled back to God through our Lord Jesus Christ, and we have peace with God. Peace is the work of righteousness (Isa 32:17). Having made us right with God through His substitutionary work on Calvary, Jesus Christ justified us that peace can be ours in Him. Now that we are justified by faith, we have peace with God. There is more in this peace than mere termination of enmity with God. There is friendship and loving-kindness with God in it. We are no longer in fear of judgement. We are at peace with God by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. We were justified by faith, not by the works of the law. Through faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ, we have become God's friends. Jam 2:23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. In Ephesians 2:18, we understand that through Christ, who is our peace, we have access by one Spirit unto the Father. The peace of God is through Christ alone (Eph 2:14), we could not have earned it by our works of righteousness, because they were filthy rags. Other Scriptures for Meditation: 2 Pet 1:2; Psa 119:165; Eph 6:23; Phil 4:6-7; Col 1:20 My Solid Front (Confession) Thank You Father because I have been justified by faith, I therefore declare that the peace of God rules my heart and mind. I stay calm in raging situations because my eyes are fixed on Jesus. I enjoy wholesome and beautiful fellowship with my Heavenly Father in Jesus Name. AMEN. 8

The Leviticus
Gal 5:22; John 13: 34-35 John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
The Leviticus talks about the laws that guide the operations of the Priests. Christ is our High Priest after the order of Melchizedek (Heb 5:5-6), and according to Revelations 5:10; we are Kings and Priests unto our God. A new Priesthood demanded a new commandment. The new commandment is Love which means that the law that now guides the new creation man in Christ is Love (John 13: 34-35). Love (the God-kind) is the fruit of the recreated human spirit (the born again spirit). The flesh produces works but the recreated spirit bears fruit. As new creation people, we have become possessors of the divine nature, which is Love. Therefore, we have become possessor of the divine ability to Love as God does. The way to follow God is by walking in Love just the same way Christ did (Eph 5:1-2). Loving one another is a commandment, not a suggestion, given to us by the Master. One of the reasons it is a commandment is because the flesh always wants to get in the way of love. At such times, we are obligated to go the way of love as against the flesh's luxury. In the Old Testament, the Jews under the law were asked to love their neighbour's as themselves, but now we are to love one another as Christ loved us. This talks about a sacrificial kind of love known as Agape- the God kind of love. The way we can truly love like God does, is to understand the way He first loved us. Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. He loved you so much that He did not walk away from you but stood with you till you became strong enough to say, Lord I love you. Knowing that God forgave our sins graciously while we were sinners, we ought to extend the same benevolence to our friends and enemies. We have the ability to walk in Love as God does because His Love has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost (Rom 5:5). Walking in Love is giving expression to the life of

Overlooking Offences
Psa 119:165; 1 Pet 4:8-9 1 Pet 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. Love covers a multitude of sins. It God's transforming power to break and change the most hardened offender. God is Love. Not only is He Love, His motivation is love. In relating with people around us, love must be the motivation for our actions. Those who love the law of God have great peace and nothing shall offend them (Psa 119:165). To constantly live above offences, one must make the Word of God one's delight. God's Word is our manual for living. Everybody wants to be loved and accepted. Nobody gravitates towards hatred. Love, therefore, is our bait as we go a fishing. Christians are to show love to everyone irrespective of who they are or what they might have done wrong, or what they might have been through. We are to love people unconditionally beyond their persons, characters, actions, attitudes and shortcomings. Love is purely based on the nature of God in you, not the behaviour of its recipients. Jesus Christ, in Matthew 11:6, says blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. This shows us that offences will come without fail. However, we must refuse to take them. Love is the way to victory and the mark of the disciple of Jesus Christ. Forgiveness is one of the highest demonstrations of love. Beloved, forgive your neighbour just as the Father has forgiven you. Other Scriptures for Meditation: 1 John 3:18; Rom 10:8-10; 2 Cor 5:14a; 2 Cor 6:6; Gal 5:6b; 1 Pet 4:8 My Solid Front (Confession) I declare in Jesus Name that I am a Love-being, I am magnanimous towards those who offend me and I keep no record of wrongs. I win all the time because God comes first and His Word guides all my actions. Thank You Father for this victory in Christ, in Jesus Name. AMEN.

A Life of Faithfulness
Luke 19:12-26; 1 Cor 4:2 1 Cor 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
The Bible teaches that we are God's stewards. A steward is a manager of another man's resources. God has committed his resources to our care. We are stewards of His manifold grace. Every Believer has received a measure of grace for life and ministry. Stewardship bestows on us a sense of accountability and responsibility. Knowing that we will give account of whatever we have been given; therefore, faithfulness is required of every steward to become responsible. The parable of the talents in Luke 19 reveals that God rewards faithfulness and not ability (status). It is not the magnitude of your calling or office that God will reward, but the faithfulness exercised in the execution of it. Beloved, faithfulness attracts reward. On the other hand, unfaithfulness attracts judgement. In Luke 16:10-12, Jesus said He that is faithful in little is faithful over much. God will not commit great things into your hands if you are not faithful in little things. God will not commit true kingdom riches into your hands if you are not faithful in handling the unrighteous mammon of this world (money). It is a Principle of the Kingdom that the key to receiving your own business is faithfulness in another man's business. Prayer and fasting will never cover up for a man's lack of faithfulness. Be faithfulness in your kingdom financial responsibilities; your tithes and offerings. True faithfulness does not depend on the smallness or greatness of a duty. Our action should be that we will give our best to whatever has been committed into our hands because God is the Judge. He determines how we shall be rewarded and what we shall be rewarded with. In the service of God, we must be very thorough and hearty. We must know that reward will be in proportion to our faithfulness. Let us consider Jesus who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house. Heb 3:2

The Radiance of Glory

Heb 2:10; Phil 4:19 Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high
God's glory is all that He is and has. The glory of God is the effulgence of His majesty. It is peculiar to His nature and presence so distinctly that it separates Him from other beings. It is the desire of all creation from time immemorial. It is such a beautiful thing to behold. The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is the brightness of God's glory and the express image of His person. This Is remarkable! Jesus, the Son of God, is the effulgence of God's very essence. What a description! By this definition, it follows that nobody can perceive or see the glory of God without Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. The Son of God is the exact image of the Father God. Looking at Him is looking at the Father God. Little wonder He says in John 10:30 I and my Father are one and again in John 14:9 .he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Jesus Christ has come to reveal the glory of the Father. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Jesus Christ is the living Word of God. Fellowshipping with the Word is fellowshipping with Jesus Christ, who is the effulgence of God's glory and the express image of His person. Beloved, as feed on the Word and act upon it, you radiate the glory of God in all you set your hands upon to do. What a life! We are the reflection of God's glory through the Word that lives in us.

Other Scriptures for Meditation: Rom 5:2; II Cor 3:16-18; Acts 10:38 My Solid Front (Confession) Father, I thank You that I am the reflection of Your glory. Christ in me is the hope of glory. I declare that I am one with You and Your Word will abide in me consistently. I delight myself in Your Word and make my boast in Your glory, in Jesus name. AMEN. 8
