Welcome Abba Father (Junior praise no 2 ) Abba Father, let me be Yours and Yours alone. May my will forever be Ever more Your own. Never let my heart grow cold, Never let me go. Abba Father, let me be Yours and Yours alone Prayer and Lords Prayer CH4 641 Seek ye first the Kingdom of God 1 Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness ; and all these things shall be added unto you ; allelu, alleluia. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia ! 2 Ask, and it shall be given unto you, seek, and ye shall find ; knock, and the door shall be opened unto you ; allelu, alleluia. 3 You shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord ; allelu, alleluia. The verses may be sung in canon with the refrain. Karen Lafferty (b. 1948) Drama - The whole thing comes full circle (Tic Tacs) CH4 336 Christ is our light 1 Christ is our light ! the bright and morning star covering with radiance all from near and far. Christ be our light, shine on, shine on we pray into our hearts, into our world today. Christ is our love ! baptized that we may know the love of God among us, swooping low. Christ be our love, bring us to turn our face and see in you the light of heavens embrace.

Christ is our joy ! transforming wedding guest ! Through water turned to wine the feast was blessed. Christ be our joy ; your glory let us see, as your disciples did in Galilee.

Leith Fisher (b. 1941) Communion - Past - Present - Future Mission Praise 723 We come as guests invited 1 We come as guests invited when Jesus bids us dine, His friends on earth united to share the bread and wine; the bread of life is broken, the wine is freely poured for us, in solemn token of Christ our dying Lord. We eat and drink, receiving from Christ the grace we need, and in our hearts believing on Him by faith we feed; with wonder and thanksgiving for love that knows no end, we find in Jesus living our ever-present friend.

One bread is ours for sharing, one single fruitful vine, our fellowship declaring renewed in bread and wine: renewed, sustained and given by token, sign and word, the pledge and seal of heaven, the love of Christ our Lord. Timothy Dudley-Smith

The sacrament - The Minister People invited forward - ( Background Music Behold the Lamb ) CH4 659 Put peace in each others hands 1 Put peace into each others hands and like a treasure hold it ; protect it like a candle flame, with tenderness enfold it. Put peace into each others hands with loving expectation ; be gentle in your words and ways, in touch with Gods creation.

Put peace into each others hands, like bread we break for sharing ; look people warmly in the eye : our life is meant for caring.

And at communion, shape your hands into a waiting cradle ; the gift of Christ, receive, revere, united round the table. 5 Put Christ into each others hands, he is loves deepest measure ; in love make peace, give peace a chance and share it like a treasure. Fred Kaan (b. 1929) Offering and Dedication Prayers for Ourselves and Others CH4 559 There is a Redeemer 1 There is a Redeemer, Jesus, Gods own Son, precious Lamb of God, Messiah, Holy One. Thank you, O my Father, for giving us your Son, and leaving us your Spirit till your work on earth is done. Jesus, my Redeemer, name above all names, precious Lamb of God, Messiah, once for sinners slain :

When I stand in glory I will see his face, and there Ill serve my King for ever in that holy place. Melody Green (b. 1946) Benediction CCL Licence No 6258
