There is a president and four vice-presidents, three of whom are directly elected by the members, one of whom is the chairperson of the league. Ten members are elected from the national list and 18 from the provincial list. Three are nominated by the National Soccer League. At least one is from the National First Division. Each regional association is entitled to three delegates, with four votes
The league is entitled to six delegates, with six votes
Each associate member is entitled to two delegates, with one vote
Delegates must be accredited by the member they represent
Only accredited delegates are entitled to vote. Voting by proxy or letter is not permitted
During their terms, members of the national executive committee may not be appointed as delegates for their regional associations or any other member of Safa
The CEO may participate in the congress but may not vote
