rented out to groups. These groups share their POS with the password to the forcefield only known to them. For the increased safety of a POS, the groups have to pay POS rent. This has two reasons, one is that buying and maintaining a POS is expensive, a full setup POS costs multiple billion in ISK and more than 300m ISK per month in fuel alone. The other reason is that we want to keep a bit of pressure on the POS groups to take more Unistas into their group. The more people share one POS, the less every member has to pay. While not everybody can be part of one of these groups, it is our goal to make it as easy as possible for every group to find new members as well as making it easy for new participants in the WHC to find a POS group to join. RIght now every POS group is free to accept and reject any WHC participant into their group, whether the group assigns one person to handle this or by group vote (I think most if not all do the latter). This might change in the future if the groups are not permeable and lots of new people (who would form their own, bigger group) can't find access to a POS group. So this (stickied) thread is here for the POS groups to present themselves, their numbers and the criteria you need to fill to be able to join them. Please understand that some groups are established groups of friends that have been playing together for years now with a very high trust level, so it might not be easy to join everyone of them. Still, I would like the first posts (2-6) of this thread to be reserved for the POS groups so they can add a bit of information about their group. Stuff I find interesting: Who is the main contact (at best the person who posts), how many members you have (please keep this up to date), what you like to do in the WH, what special arrays/batteries your POS has (coming soon) and maybe even who the members of your POS group are (not mandatory). The rest of the thread I would like to be kept for people who want to join a POS group. If you don't want to contact one group directly, you can post in this thread about yourself, your goals in Eve, the Uni and the WHC and whatever you or others might find interesting. Please understand that sharing a POS, ships and hangars is a question of trust and trust needs to be earned. So I think your best bet in getting into a POS group is to fly in the WHC and become a valuable member first.

We are a closed group , the only way to join is if you become a staff member of the HR department. The most people there are from the PO department. Also the best department from the entire uni . We don't have any requirements on activity but it's normal that some activity in the WH is expected. We also have some donations from the members from the HR POS, with that money we buy ammo, modules, and other stuff. Method of application: Contact Ruges via ingame mail or forum PM. Your name will be put to vote in our mailing list. You need 75% yay's, with at least 50% voting after 1 week. Group: All UNI WHC'ers welcome Contact: Ruges Current Hardware for members: 2 SMA, 1 CHA, 3 AML, 1 ML, 1 PHA, 1 CAA Asset Rules: Alpha hanger is communal, Theta hangar is private. Asset Sharing Rules: Put more in the Alpha hanger then you take out, Only take out what you put into the Theta Hanger. SMA1 is communal, unless noted by the player, and if you loose it you replace it, and return it before you log out. Storage space: personal space is limited to 20,000,000 m3 / people in the group for that month for the SMA. and 1,400,000 m3 / people in the group for the CHA. Member Count: 12 Ideal member count: 10-20. This number may change over time as the hardware config changes. Payment Method: Straight split regardless of used volume. to be paid after the 10th of each month for that month. WHC POS 8-1 Team Rabbit Update Greetings, I am Pale Peril. This month the group transitioned to new leadership after the departure of Battiatus Varo to better Pew Pew Pastures and Media Assassin to the unavoidable priorities of that RL can toll. As Media will still be active in the Uni, abit reduced capacity, and for the sake of keeping a link to our prior leadership, he will remain on the mailing list if he wishes. [I actually found out after the fact I don't have a choice, as he's still the list owner. ] I have been playing EVE for little more than a year, mostly as a miner, PI, and exploring site sigs. IRL I tend to do call center technical support and customer service, other times I'm a barista at a coffee house. But currently I'm seeking a more fulfilling career and am active in community action in the state of Michigan in the US. I am also a staff member of the AMC, Ammar Mining Campus, for which I am still active. We are still in discussions concerning recruitment at POS 8-1, Thus I do not have a statement concerning new members at this time. Hi all, been around the WHC for a few weeks now and I've really enjoyed the campus spirit and the general activity. I mainly play EU TZ between 1800-0000 EVE time most days, at the moment while off RL Uni I can be found pottering about at various other times as well. Will be looking to store a BS (Neutgeddon most likely), a couple of BC's (Harby and Myrm or Brutix), a few cruisers (T1 logi Aug and/or Exeq and PvP cruisers, perhaps 4 at most) and frigates (scanning, Inty and SB). Hey guys, back here after treci apprenticeship and i thinking it'd be usefull to join a pos group i play pretty much in AU timezone, later in the day. i have a few t3's hacs sb's cloakies and a few faction ships that i probably don't want lying the in communal pos too much also.
