Directions
1.

Moving left to right each WC5711 3 1/4 x W.O.F. stripe moves the color position up one block (see photo). Each completed strip is cut 3 1/4 x 56 before stitching together. Cut apart each strip as needed (adding 1/4 seam allowance and piece back together to move the color positions. Three extra 3 1/4 x W.O.F. strips are provided for this process). The first WC5711 3 1/2 x 56 is the only strip not pieced. Make twelve strips total. Sew together (3) WC5711 56 strips maintaining the checkerboard pattern. Sew one PC5709 Lagoon 3 1/2 strip to the right side of the checkerboard unit. Repeat step #2. Maintain checkerboard pattern. Repeat step #3 using PC5709 Sun Repeat step #2 Repeat step #3 using PC5709 Lagoon Repeat step #2 to make 42 x 56 quilt top. Layer backing, batting, and quilt top. Baste. Quilt as desired. Bind quilt using PC5708 Rainbow 2 1/2 bias strips pieced together along the stripes to maintain the color sequence for the necessary length.
