April Gibbs Milne is the Director of Programming & Marketing at Chesterfield Arts in West St. Louis
County. Since joining Chesterfield Arts in January 2007, she has curated a wide number of exhibits in
The Gallery at Chesterfield Arts and at the Sachs Branch of the St. Louis County Library.
Barbara Remley Martin – began teaching art classes more than ten years ago for the St. Louis Artists’
Guild and currently instructs pastel class for Chesterfield Arts in Chesterfield, MO. She has served as a
juror for many competitive exhibitions for several local and regional organizations.
Davide Weaver is the Executive Director at the St. Louis Artists’ Guild and is the co-founder and CEO of
ArtDimensions, a 501c-3 non-profit arts organization created to support the arts and artists in St. Louis.
Between the two organizations, he has juried and curated countless exhibits.
The Awards
This year’s panel of judges will conduct an on-site jury for the Art&Air 2009 awards on Saturday,
June 6th. Exhibits will be scored on the following criteria:
t Work is original and made by hand
t Work is produced in quantity or as an individual piece
t Work is well conceived and expertly executed without technical faults
t Work shows an identity of design
Winners will be presented with their awards made by YUCANDU during the fair on Saturday
immediately following the announcements at 2:00 pm on the Main Stage. Cash prizes will be
given to the winning artists at the Art&Air Artists’ Sunday Brunch.

Art&Air is rare among art fairs in that it is operated by a nonprofit
foundation, with a mission to celebrate and support community and
the arts. The fair, continually noted as an artist's favorite for
unmatched hospitality and amenities, showcases many kinds of
art,  while offering delectable food, top-notch music performances
and unique creative activities for the whole family.
