I believe that there is beauty in simplicity. With every project I take on, I focus on nding a creative solution that e ectively combines functionality, feasibility, and aesthetic appeal. Ive found that simple and logical designs can harness these qualities with less material and more e cient manufacturing techniques. I feel that my strengths are in CAD modeling, concept rendering, modelmaking, and maintaining a clear and thoughtful concept direction throughout the design process.

Modular phone case series

The Crafted cases began as a personal side project while working at Case-Mate, but rapidly evolved to be the most ubiquitous platform in the company The two-part snap case provides excellent protection for the phone and features a modular back that can accomodate any number of materials and graphics While managing this project, I worked with suppliers in China and the US to grant exclusive use of several materials including wood, pearl, and gemstones Case-Mates recent rebranding was centralized around the Crafted series

Avalanche survival jacket

The jacket incorporates two systems designed to provide immediate aid to avalanche victims buried under densely packed snow A collar-mounted breathing system uses two uni-directional valves to ensure a continuous ow of clean oxygen to the victim Additionally, the solar-charged radio beacon transmits 2 hours of proximity-amplied radio location after only 10 minutes in the sun The Thirdlung jacket is also a durable alpine hard shell, featuring a 2.5 layer breathable waterproof construction

Through intensive market research, I found that my target market wanted a practice guitar to be durable and unique Alivio is modular, allowing the user to tailor specic tones with di erent soundboards and body shapes Carbon ber construction makes the Alivio guitar more durable and resistant to aging e ects, without sacricing acoustics

Multipurpose phone case

The concept for the Sling case originated during my junior year at Georgia Tech as a way to combine my iPod case and the contents of my wallet The idea resurfaced at Case-Mate when we were looking to combine our popular Pop! ID and stand stand cases without sacricing functionality The Sling case uses low-durometer TPE bands co-molded with a rigid polycarbonate frame to protect the phone, hold a stand, and store cards, cash, and cables
