1. NO REQUEST FOR CHANGE IN EXAMINATION CENTRE WILL BE CONSIDERED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. 2. The candidate must bring this Admit Card at the Examination Centre. No candidate will be allowed entry without this Admit Card. 3. The candidate is also required to bring one of the photo identification card in original viz. Voter Identity Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Unique ID Card / Aadhar Card or Passport along with this Admit Card. The identity of the candidate will be matched from the proof. In case the photograph is missing in your Admit Card, please bring two recent passport size photographs in the examination centre. 4. The written examination for the post of LDC will be held on 25th August, 2013 (Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon (Single Session only). 5. The candidate is requested to reach /Report Examination Centre as per reporting time given above. The reporting time for examination is 9.30 A.M. Bring Two Black Ball Point pens for the Examination. Answers of questions are to be given by the candidate in the computerized Carbonless OMR Answer Sheet with Black Ball Point pen only by darkening the circles. 6. No candidate will be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after the scheduled time of commencement of examination i.e. 10.00 A.M. No late coming is allowed. 7. Possession and Use of electronic devices such as Mobile Phone, Micro Phone or any other Associated Accessories, Calculator, Log Tables, pager, Digital Diary, Book/ Notes etc. are strictly prohibited in the Examination Hall. If any candidate is found in possession of any of these devices / documents his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled. As such the Candidate should not bring Mobile Phone/Micro Phone etc. at the Examination Centre. UGC will not be responsible for its safe custody / loss. 8. Any candidate, who is found copying, receiving, giving assistance or using unfair means during the exam, will be disqualified and UGC will not be responsible for cancellation of his/her candidature. 9. The Written Examination shall consist of 200 objective type questions on General Awareness, General Intelligence, Numerical Ability and General English. Each question carries one mark. 10. There is a negative marking in written test i.e. mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer @ 1/4 (0.25) of the allotted mark for each question. 11. Please retain this Admit Card for future records and to be produced at the time/stage of checking of documents after qualifying in the written test. 12. The Candidates appearing in the written test should, in their own interest, check their eligibility in all respects so as to avoid disappointment at any later stage. Your candidature for the written test is "PURELY PROVISIONAL" pending detailed scrutiny of your fulfilling the eligibility conditions as mentioned in the advertisement for the post you have applied. In case, it is found at any stage that the candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria, the candidature of such candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process or even after joining if any information provided by the candidate is found false or is not in conformity with the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement including Caste Certificate. 13. The details printed on this admit card must be checked by the candidate. In case your admit cad is without photograph, then candidate is advised to personally report, one day before the conduct of examination at the 'Facilitation Counter' from 1000 hrs to 1200 hrs with 2 passport size photographs along with documentary evidence/proof so that necessary corrections are made and Duplicate admit card is issued accordingly. The address of the 'Facilitation Counter' will be made available at UGC website www.ugc.ac.in. No request for change in name, category, date of birth, etc. shall be entertained since the candidates were advised to check their details in the online application before submission. 14. Visually impaired or orthopedic handicapped candidates whose writing speed is affected by Cerebral Palsy may be given a scribe at the examination centre to facilitate the candidate in order to write the written examination. Only those candidates will be given a scribe who have opted for the same while filling in the application form. Such visually/orthopedic handicapped candidates have to bring certified copy of medical certificate issued by the Competent Authority. Such candidates will be eligible for extra time of 20 minutes for every hour of the examination. 15. No candidate shall be allowed to leave the Exam Hall before the conclusion of the Written Exam. The candidate shall hand over the complete OMR Answer Sheet to the invigilator, who will give 2nd copy of the OMR to the candidate. The candidate is allowed to take his/her question paper. 16 Any query / concerns of the candidates related to Question paper should be submitted to Deputy Secretary (Administration) UGC within 7 days from the conduct of the examination, thereafter any representation in this regard will not be entertained.
