FOCUS: UNDERSTANDING THE PURPOSE OF EMPOWERMENT (Part I- IV)

GENERAL INTRO: Understanding the purpose of a thing enhances ones value and motivates ones quest for it. The ministry of the Holy Spirit is an indispensable factor in the adventure of every believer. Life remains helplessly vulnerable without the supernatural empowerment of the Holy Spirit. (Lk. 10:17-19, Is. 59:19). The Holy Spirit is the custodian of the whole armour of God because He is our access to every one of them. (Eph. 6:10-18). It is also interesting to note that the advancement of the church herself will be stalled without the power of God in operation I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matt. 16:18). Therefore, to fully realize the multiple grace agenda requires that we actively engage the ministry of the Holy Spirit through intense prayers and intercessions for the power of God to destroy all the barriers on the way. WEEK 2 .PART 1 A. - THE HOLY SPIRIT EMPOWERS US TO FULFIL OUR MISSION ON EARTH To accomplish our mission on earth requires much more than natural effort. It requires divine empowerment to accomplish every vision. (I Sam 2:9, Rms. 9:16, Zech. 4:6) It will take divine enablement to accomplish any divine mission (Ex. 4:1-9; Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8; Acts 10:38).

Life is a risk without the power of God at work in us. (II Cor. 10:3-5,
Lk. 10:19)

You cannot recover your seized goods without over powering the
strong man. (Lk. 11:21-22, Matt. 17:20-21) B. IT ALSO TAKES POWER FOR THE CHURCH OF CHRIST TO FULFILL HER MISSION ON THE EARTH. No church grows without

the power of God at work there. Every valid move of the spirit leads to supernatural church growth (Matt. 16:18, Ps. 66: 3, Ps.110: 1-3)

WEEK 3 PART 2: A. THE HOLY SPIRIT EMPOWERS US TO OVERCOME ALL THE BATTLES OF LIFE Recognise that your redemptive rights are ever contested by Satan. (Eph. 6:10-12; Luke 10:19.

You need to engage the power of God to destroy every yoke. (Is.10:
27, 59:19, Ps. 66:3)

You need to be strengthened in the inner man to overcome. (Eph.

3:16, Pr. 24:5,10) B. REMEMBER, IT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT DRAWS PEOPLE INTO THE CHURCH. We must therefore engage the ministry of the Holy Spirit to fully realize the manifestation agenda of the year. (Acts.2: 1-7, 41, Acts.10: 1-44, Acts 8:26-33, John10: 16, 6:44 I John 5:7, John 1:1-3) WEEK 4 .PART 3:A. THE HOLY SPIRIT EMPOWERS OUR SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING The Holy Spirit empowers the believer for spiritual understanding (John 16:12-13, Eph. 1:17-18). The Holy Spirit divinely illuminates the understanding of the saints. (I Cor. 2:9, 12-13, John 14:26) The Holy Spirit also quickens our mind (Isa. 11:1-3, Job 32:8.Gen. 41:38-39). B. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE ONE THAT CONVICTS MEN OF SIN AND BRINGS THEM INTO THE KINGDOM. (John 16:7-9, Acts. 2:37-38) PART C:A. THE HOLY SPIRIT EMPOWERS OUR PRAYER LIFE The Holy Spirit strengthens us in prayer (Zech 12:10; Rom 8:26) The Holy Spirit guides us in prayers (Rms. 8:27, I Cor. 14:2,14-15) The Holy Spirit boost the growth of our faith in prayer.(Jude 20) D. WE MUST RECOGNISE AND ENGAGE THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT AS THE LORD OF THE HARVEST. ( Matt. 9:38, Lk. 10:2, Acts. 2:1-7,37-41(Num.11: 31, Acts 4:4)

Note We must keep emphasising that our dual goal for the month of august is: 1. The personal empowerment of Gods people for the realization of everyones full multiple grace agenda. 2. To be believe that the present attendance of our church double by the end of September 2013. We know that the Holy Spirit; Lord of the harvest himself is up to the task particularly with our cooperation. It is done in Jesus name. Amen
