From The Continental Amateur Baseball Association (CABA) 12u World Series Director
This was our first year running a CABA World Series, and we had a great time doing so! We had 20 teams from 5 states and 2 Countries! Although rain washed out 3 and a half days during the World Series, we were the only event that was able to finish the weekend in the area! We had a lot of great kids play many great games, and they all appeared to love the park CTC. The most memorable game of the World Series was the semi-final game between the eventual champion the Indiana Prospects Blue and Team British Columbia, who flew all the way across the country for this event! The Prospects got out to a big lead early, but Team BC came back to take the lead late in the game only to see the prospects close it out in the 6th and 7th innings. The game featured 10 home runs and multiple great plays in the field by both teams ! In the end, the Indiana Prospects Blue were able to hold off the local At The Yard Baseball Club to claim the CABA 12U World Series title! They went 6-0 across the entire World Series, including winning 3 games on Championship Monday! World Series Director:
