Duties and Responsibilities: Perform Nursing assessments including vital signs, neurovascular check ups and whole body assessment. Plan, implement & evaluate nursing care as per priority basis. Observe & monitor the patients closely & report undue development to the physician as needed. Direct all efforts related to the medical treatment of the patients and delegates responsibilities to the appropriate person and authorities. Perform IV cannulation, IVF therapy & blood transfusion, administering medications orally, IV, IM or subcutaneously as per doctors order. Operation equipments used in the unit. Insertion of Foleys cathether/Condom cathether & Nasogastric tubes. Documents all the care rendered in brief, accurate & complete manner. Evaluate the patient progress to towards the expected outcomes. Give health education on discharge concerning medication regime, diet, exercise & follow-ups.

 Maintain current knowledge of clinical nursing practice & hospital related policies, procedures & practices.
