Incident: Homicide Location: 1300 block of N. 7th Date/Time: 8/14/13 @ 23:34 Victim #1: John Gorman, 27-year old black male of the 900 block of Cass Victim #2: 25-year old black male (critical/unstable) Victim #3: 23-year old black female Victim # 4: 3-year old black female Victim # 5: 5-year old black female Victim # 6: 7-year old black female Suspect: 25-year old black male Officers responded to the above location for a shooting and upon arrival, located Victim #1 and Victim #2 lying in various locations within the residence suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were conveyed to local hospitals. Victim #1 suffered gunshot wounds to his head and chest and was pronounced deceased. Victim #2 suffered a gunshot wound to his head and was listed in critical/unstable condition. Victim #3 suffered from abrasion-type injuries to her face and was listed in serious/stable condition. An investigation revealed the suspect shattered a front window of the residence and entered through the window. After entering the residence, the suspect struck Victim #3 with his fists and the firearm and then fired shots at Victim #1 and Victim #2. Victim #4, Victim #5 and Victim #6, who are children of Victim #3 and the suspect, were in the residence at the time but were not injured. The suspect fled the residence on foot. The investigation is ongoing. Incident: Assault 1st (Shooting) Location: 4400 block of Lee Date: 8/14/13 @ 14:50 Victim: 32-year old black male Suspect(s): Unknown The victim stated he was at the above location when a white vehicle passed him. The victim thought the vehicle was occupied by a friend and yelled for it to stop. When the victim approached the vehicle, an unknown person fired shots at him. The victim was conveyed to a local hospital and treated for a gunshot wound to the leg and listed in serious/stable condition. Investigation revealed the victim gave conflicting information about what occurred. The investigation is ongoing. Incident: Assault 1st (Shooting) Location: 4900 block of West Florissant Date/Time: 8/15/13 @ 01:00 Victim: #1: 16-year old black male Victim #2: 18-year old black male Victim #3: 26-year old black male Suspect(s): Unknown

Victim #1 and Victim #2 stated they were driving west on West Florissant at Union when a vehicle passed them and unknown occupants fired multiple shots at them. Victim #2 was struck in the back and was conveyed to a local hospital and listed in serious/stable condition. Investigation revealed Victim #3 was driving east on West Florissant and while observing the incident, his vehicle was struck by gunfire, which broke his vehicles window. Investigation revealed the victims gave conflicting information about what occurred. The investigation is ongoing. Incident: Assault 1st (Shooting) Location: 5600 block of Highland Date/Time: 8/14/13 @ 18:00 Victim: 19-year old black male Suspect (s): 2 unknown black males Officers responded to a call for a shooting and upon arrival, located the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the leg and shoulder. The victim reported the above suspects shot him before fleeing on foot north toward Kennerly. The victim was conveyed to a hospital and listed in serious/stable condition. The investigation is ongoing. Incident: Assault 1st (Shooting) Location: 5900 block of Lotus Date/Time: 8/15/13 @ 00:50 Victim: 44-year old black female Suspect(s): 2 unknown black males Officers responded to a call for a shooting at the above location and upon arrival, located the victim sitting on the front porch suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot. The victim stated the suspects exited a green, older model Chrysler and approached her on the porch and asked to use her phone. When she turned to retrieve her phone, one of the suspects fired a shot, striking her in the foot. The subjects then fled the scene north on the foot and the vehicle fled the scene west on Lotus. The victim refused medical treatment at the time but was later conveyed to the hospital. The investigation is ongoing. Incident: Assault 1st (Cutting) Location: 5200 block of Wilson Date/Time: 8/13/13 @ 19:15 Victim: 23-year old black male Suspect: 19-year old black female The victim stated the suspect, who is his ex-girlfriend, responded to his place of employment at the above address and initiated an argument. When the victim attempted to ignore the conflict, the suspect grabbed a tool with a small razor attached and swung it at him. The victim suffered a laceration to the face. An officer responded to the scene and apprehended the offender, who was still in possession of the cutting utensil. The investigation is ongoing.
