Auto-Drive* Auto-Drives bottom sensing and detection technology delivers the strongest possible hold. It automatically powers the spike into the bottom with three successive hits, using increasing force on each hit.
Rough Water Mode* For an even stronger hold, activate Rough Water Mode, which performs three Auto-Drive sequences at ten second intervals. In addition to tracing exact contours, you can use Contour Offset to stay at a set distance from a depth contour or the shoreline. Just select the contour and how far away from it you want to stay. Link will handle the navigation so you can cast to that contour again and again.

Stay on any bearing you choose with GPS accuracy. Just set a heading by using your Humminbird cursor or pointing the motor head in the direction you want to travel. Then push a button and let i-Pilot Link keep you on that heading.

A full-color LCD screen on the i-Pilot Link remote displays your current function, user menus, GPS signal strength, prop status and battery state. The remote is waterproof and floats, and the i-Pilot Link system can learn multiple remotes for added flexibility.
The i-Pilot Link remote is powered by a rechargeable battery, that you plug in and charge just like a cell phone.

Spot-Lock
Spot-Lock helps keep you within five feet of a fishing spot, like an electronic anchor. When your boat begins to drift away, Link tells your trolling motor to take you back automatically. Go To Waypoint Return to your favorite existing waypoints or new ones you create and store with Go To.

Never lose another successful trolling path. iTracks are paths on the water (up to two miles long) that you can store and retrace whenever you want. Go To iTrack Return to your stored iTracks automatically with Go To. It takes you to the closest waypoint of your selected track, then lets you retrace the path in either direction.

Do You Need an Adapter Bracket?

This depends on whether you have a flat or curved transom. If you have a flat transom, we recommend mounting Talon directly to it (all hardware is included for this) without an adapter bracket. If you have a curved transom, youll need an adapter bracket.

That means you can easily adapt Talon to fit any boat, and any situation. You can also easily remove it when not in use for added security.

Using the Universal Modular Adapter Bracket, easily rotate Talon to your required orientation based on your transom style, outboard location and other factors. Once youve got Talon where you want it, interlocking teeth clamp down to keep it permanently in place.

There are two types of Talon adapter brackets: Jack Plate and Sandwich-Style.
