SMAT Clothing believes in showing love and kindness to others without expecting anything in return. Over the years, owners Sue and Steve Matthew have sponsored an outstanding number of events and supported numerous charity organisations. Members of the Loaves and Fishes Association for the poor, the previously disadvantaged and pensioners were made to feel loved and special when they were donated clothing by SMAT. The company once again showed its generous heart by sponsoring a suit to one lucky winner at the CANSA Awareness Fundraiser that took place in the form of an auction, at the Sheraton Hotel in Arcadia, Pretoria. Boxes of fabric were donated to the Association for the Physically Disabled (APD). Thanks to SMAT Clothing, APD made use of the material to make placemats, quilts, duvet covers and pillow cases, and scatter cushions to sell to the community in order to raise money to enrich their lives. Additionally, Eastleigh Breast Care Fund, was established to assist women with breast cancer who are unable to finance treatment for themselves. SMAT Clothing reached out and showed its loyal support by delivering a liberal donation as well as lucky draw prizes at the Lexus Lynnwood event held in Pretoria. Not only does SMAT Clothing have passion for the community, they also play an imperative role in supporting significant events at the forefront of the media. SMAT Clothing was the corporate wear sponsor of the annual Mrs South Africa competition and proud to be in association. A tailor-made official Mrs South Africa jacket was produced by SMAT Clothing and was presented to the new Mrs South Africa at the gala event. The company dressed the reigning beauty queen in corporate wear for her year of reign while representing South Africa. SMAT Clothing went live on television when Sue Matthew was invited to an interview by Africa Awakes (DSTV Chanel 114) exquisite breakfast show host Diana Akinlolu for an in depth interview about the company. Over the years, the company has been the chief sponsor of clothing, donations and prizes at a number of fashion shows and beauty pageants across South Africa. One such event is the Miss Port Alfred pageant that takes place at the Fish River Sun International. Hosts for the evening included Mr South Africa and well known television personality Liezel van der Westhuizen. In addition to this, SMAT Clothing has supported The Secretarial and Administrative Professional Symposium (SAPRO) where Mind Power Coach and guest speaker Robin Banks shared invaluable strategies and tips on how to work in partnership with executives. Moreover SMAT Clothing has triumphed in the field of arts and culture and has dressed Showtimes young and talented theatrical performers on stage to perfection. Sue and Steve Matthew have enjoyed the privilege of receiving personal invitations to performances such as ABBA Mania presented by the magnificent Centrestage group. SMAT Clothings dynamic owners have not only achieved success through hard work, diligence and dedication to the business, but they have opened their hearts and wallets to serving the community. In doing so, the couple have selflessly changed the lives of others and improved living conditions for many individuals. Compassionate Sue and Steve Matthew are living proof that SMAT Clothing truly brings out the best in all of us.

At SMAT we understand women! Not only are we not the same colour, but we are not the same size either. And we get that. By introducing our Perfect Plus range we acknowledge that not everyone is a Victoria Beckham. We know that there are Beyonces out there who are voluptuous, curvy stunning women who dont want to be squeezed into a tight fitting pair of pants or a short skirt. The fuller your figure is the less you want to show. In our Perfect Plus range we flaunt a womens assets while camouflaging her concerns. Special care has been taken to extend the length of blouses and remove darts on the larger sizes for that added comfort. We have added side vents on our blouses and slits on the cuffs, allowing you freedom of movement. We understand as you get older you no longer want to wear sleeveless blouses. At SMAT we overcome this by having short sleeve, sleeve and long sleeve blouses in our off the shelf core range. So you can choose which blouse you feel the most comfortable in. Our DKNY slax have elastic at the back and we know you want to look good so there is a flat front waistband creating a comfortable yet slim look. What makes SMAT Clothing a truly unique corporate wear company is we do size exchanges. So once you have received your garments and they are too big or too small, we will exchange. You will be assisted by a SMAT team member until you the client are happy with the size and fit of your garments.

As an added service, SMAT will, on request, produce our existing range in other fabrics or colours. You may choose from our range of styles and we will assist you in creating a wardrobe which better suits your Companys colour and fabric requirements. Production run commences every two months, which gives you time to make your selection. The Simply SMAT suiting range is available in many different colours in the existing fabric. We require a deposit of 50% of the order before the production run. Fabric other than the Simply SMAT additional colours, will be purchased on your behalf, and this is payable in full and in addition to the deposit. The balance of the invoice is payable before delivery. We suggest you order extras of each size for future staff and size exchanges. SMAT offers a range of suits, blazers, smart trousers and shirts for the more formal look. For a workplace with more emphasis on work-ability, we offer various options comprising shirts, jerseys, polar fleece tops, sports jackets, and chinos. Unlike the ladieswear, we use other suppliers for our menswear. There is about a two week turnaround depending on whether embroidery is included. The Client has accepted the SMAT pricing structure, whether quoted or not and agrees to pay the Invoice. The Client acknowledges that a fitting constitutes a confirmed order which may not be cancelled. The Invoice which follows the fitting, will be paid within 7 days from receipt thereof. Should there be items short delivered, the Client accepts, whether promised sooner or not, that unforeseen delays may occur and this constitutes no reason to cancel the delivery of these items. The Client may only accept alternatives to the short delivered items, as offered by SMAT. Should there be a reason for SMAT to cancel the order before delivery, but after payment of the invoice,we will refund, less 25% of the invoice value, as payment for the cost of the Fitting. Cancellations after delivery will be refunded on return of the clothing by your courier, less any items that have been worn, washed or altered and less the delivery charges. The 25% Fitting Fee will also apply. Any Cancellations Fees will be based on the original or total number of persons fitted. Terms and Conditions Prices are quoted excluding VAT and are valid for 2 months. There is a minimum of 3 garments per order, unless by prior arrangement. Any orders once delivered may not be cancelled and are non-refundable. Our garments are not tailor-made, but do conform to standard South African sizing. Suiting fabrics will have shade variances, which do however conform to accepted industry standards. A shade variance does not constitute a reason to approach us for cancellation of the order, however you are welcome to return the items, once, to allow us to re-match the colours on the order. Once we have re-matched the order, you may collect and the order is considered complete. The range will change from time to time and certain colours and styles will be discontinued. Goods will be couriered to you by our arrangement, for your account. SMAT recommends that you accept the insurance option as we cannot be held responsible for losses occurring during transport and handling or consequential loss as a result of courier delays. Exchanges must be communicated to Head Office within 7 days of receiving delivery. Style exchanges are not allowed. Only size exchanges will be permitted. We do not do alterations. The range is tailored to meet most requirements for a comfortable fit. Our Slax are manufactured with extra length and as such carry a loosely bound hem. We have an off-the-shelf range for your convenience. The range is available as a Special Order in other colours. The delivery dates will be communicated on request.
