esta primeira edio de 2012 quero transmitir que o novo ano necessita de alma e esprito renovados para responder com muita coragem e determinao aos desafios que surgem e aos obstculos que se impem no dia a dia. precisamente de forma positiva e proativa que devemos encarar as dificuldades que parecem impossveis de resolver. Recentemente o presidente da Associao Nacional de Jovens Empresrios, Francisco Maria Balsemo, referiu que os negcios do futuro passam, em larga medida, pela converso do conhecimento em valor empresarial, o que se convencionou designar por inovao. certo que s com inteligncia, persistncia, sem perder o nimo e com uma nova imaginao, possvel ultrapassar esta fase e vencer. Mas tambm verdade que s ter vontade de fazer no suficiente. Para conseguir alcanar os objetivos traados necessrio tomar as medidas adequadas, reforar todos os meios sempre com a preocupao patente da otimizao dos recursos existentes e da reduo e controlo de custos. A experincia, o saber e o conhecimento adquiridos, potenciados pelas sinergias do Grupo e juntamente com a capacidade de inovar e de implementar so fatores determinantes para continuarmos a nossa caminhada em equipa e cada vez mais coesos.
In this first edition of 2012 I want to convey that this new year requires renewed soul and spirit in order to respond with great courage and determination to the challenges and the obstacles that arise every day. It is precisely in a positive and proactive way that we must face the difficulties that seem impossible to overcome. Francisco Maria Balsemo, chairman of the National Association of Young Entrepreneurs, recently mentioned that the businesses of the future consist mainly of the conversion of knowledge into corporate value, which has come to be designated by innovation. It is certain that only with intelligence, persistence, not loosing vitality and with new imagination is it possible to overcome this phase and prevail. However, it is also true that just wanting to do something is not enough. In order to achieve the outlined goals, it is necessary to take the necessary measures and reinforce all means with a constant concern for the optimization of the existing resources and cost control. The acquired experience, wisdom and knowledge, enhanced by the Groups synergies and along with the ability to innovate and implement are decisive factors for us to continue our journey as a team and ever more cohesive. Dans cette premire dition de 2012 je voudrais dire que la nouvelle anne a besoin dune me et dun esprit renouvels pour rpondre avec beaucoup de courage et de dtermination aux dfis qui surgissent et aux obstacles qui simposent dans le quotidien. Cest prcisment de faon positive et proactive que nous devons envisager les difficults qui semblent impossibles rsoudre. Rcemment, le prsident de lAssociation nationale des jeunes entrepreneurs, Francisco Maria Balsemo, a dclar qu lavenir les affaires passent dans une large mesure par la conversion des connaissances en des valeurs entrepreneuriales, ce est-ce que nous habituellement innovation . Il est vrai que ce nest quavec lintelligence, la persvrance, sans perdre le courage et avec une imagination nouvelle, quil est possible de surmonter cette tape et de gagner. Mais il est vrai galement que lenvie de faire elle seule ne suffit pas. Pour russir atteindre les objectifs tracs, il faut prendre les mesures appropries, renforcer tous les moyens en ayant toujours lesprit le souci de loptimisation des ressources existantes et de la rduction et du contrle des cots. Lexprience, le savoir et la connaissance acquis, renforcs par les synergies du Groupe et conjointement avec la capacit dinnover et de mettre en oeuvre sont des facteurs dterminants pour que nous puissions poursuivre notre randonne en quipe et de plus en plus unis.

METALLIC BRIDGE IN RGUA

PONT MTALLIQUE DE RGUA

omo um velho e robusto vinho do Porto, a Ponte Metlica da Rgua sobre o Rio Douro ganhou uma nova vida graas arrojada interveno de reabilitao estrutural e funcional levada a cabo pela CASAIS. A obra para a Estradas de Portugal, consignada a 16 de fevereiro deste ano foi concluda no passado dia 14 dezembro, tendo sido executada num prazo de 10 meses. A obra foi inaugurada inicialmente a 1 de dezembro de 1872 e manteve-se em funcionamento at 1949, ano em que foi desativada devido ao estado de degradao do tabuleiro de madeira, tendo sido nessa altura abandonada. Constituda por um tabuleiro metlico com seis tramos, que perfazem um total de 290,4 m tendo o maior vo cerca de 80ml. Cada vo constitudo por duas vigas principais independentes em sistema Schwedler (tramos 2 a 5) e tipo Pratt (tramo 1), sendo o afastamento entre o eixo das vigas de 6,75m. Cada tramo da estrutura independente estando simplesmente apoiados nos pilares/encontros. Os pilares so constitudos por alvenaria em granito, estando trs deles fundados no leito do rio Douro e outros dois na margem norte. Da mesma forma os encontros so constitudos por muros de alvenaria prolongados por muros ala no sentido longitudinal da obra de arte.

uch as an aged and robust Port wine, the Metallic Bridge over the Douro River in Rgua gained new life thanks to the bold structural and functional renovation carried out by CASAIS. The construction work for Estradas de Portugal, awarded on February 16th last year, was completed on December 14th, having been completed within the period of ten months. The work of art was first inaugurated on December 1st of 1872 and was operational until 1949, year in which it was deactivated due to the degree of degradation of the wooden bridge deck, having been abandoned then. It consists of a metallic deck with six spans, for a total of 290.4 m with the largest span being of about 80 m. Each span is composed of two main independent beams in Schwedler system (spans 2 to 5) and type Pratt (span 1), with a distance between the axis of the beams of 6.75 m. Each span of the structure is independent being simply supported on the pillars/abutments. The pillars are composed of granite masonry, with three of them being founded on the riverbed of the Douro River and another two founded on the north bank. In the same way, the abutments consist of masonry walls that continue into wing walls adjacent to the work of art.

Louvrage pour Estradas de Portugal, consign le 16 fvrier de cette anne a t conclu le 14 dcembre dernier, ayant t excut dans un dlai de 10 mois. Louvrage a t inaugur initialement le 1er dcembre 1872 et sest maintenu en fonctionnement jusquen 1949, anne o il a t dsamorc d ltat de dgradation du tablier en bois, et ayant, cette mme occasion, t abandonn . Constitu dun tablier mtallique six traves, qui parfont un total de 290,4 m, la plus grande porte ayant environ 80 ml. Chaque porte est constitue de deux linteaux principaux indpendants systme Schwedler (traves 2 5) et de type Pratt (trave 1), lloignement entre laxe des linteaux tant de 6,75 m. Chaque trave de la structure est indpendante et est simplement soutenue par des piliers/appuis. Les piliers sont constitus de maonnerie en granit, trois dentre eux tant btis dans le lit du fleuve Douro et deux autres dans la rive nord. De la mme manire, les appuis sont constitus de parois de maonnerie prolonges par des murs en aile dans le sens longitudinal de louvrage dart.

Os trabalhos desenvolvidos pela CASAIS incluram as seguintes fases principais: Montagem de 290 ml de andaime suspenso em tabuleiro; Hidrodecapagem de 6653 m2 de estrutura metlica existente com presses mdias a variar entre os 3000 e 2500 bar; Aplicao de 66 toneladas de ao em reforos estruturais; Pintura de 8007,40 m2 de estrutura metlica; Estabilizao de Encontros com recurso a tirantes no encontro Sul, desmonte parcial e posterior montagem do encontro Norte; Levantamento do tabuleiro com recurso a central hidrulica para tratamento dos aparelhos de apoio; Aplicao de 1300 m3 de tapete de enrocamento em pilares implantados na zona fluvial; Limpeza e refechamento de juntas em 6700m2 de pedra de alvenaria em encontros e pilares, dos quais 3400m2 foram executados com recurso a tcnicos de posicionamento por cordas; Aplicao de 1866m2 de pavimento de madeira com 7cm de espessura; Instalao de iluminao decorativa; Aplicao de 550 m2 de lajeado de granito; Aplicao de 600 ml de guarda corpos.

The work carried out by CASAIS included the following main stages: Assembly of 290 metres of suspended scaffold on deck; Hydroblasting of 6653m2 of existing metallic structure with average pressures ranging between 3000 and 2500 bar; Application of 66 tons of steel in structural reinforcements; Painting of 8007.40m2 of metallic structure; Stabilizing of Abutments using tie rods at the South abutment, partial dismantling and subsequent reassembling of the North abutment; Lifting of the deck using a hydraulic device in order to repair the bearings; Application of 1300m3 of falling apron on pillars embedded in the river area; Cleansing and resealing of joints in 6700m2 of stone masonry in abutments and pillars, 3400m2 of which were performed using rope positioning technicians; Installation of 1866m2 of 7cm thick wooden pavement; Installation of decorative lighting; Installation of 550m2 of granite pavement; Assembly of 600 meters of guardrails.

Les travaux dvelopps par CASAIS ont inclus les suivantes phases principales: Montage de 290 ml dchafaudage suspendu au tablier; Hydrodcapage de 6653 m2 de structure mtallique existante avec des pressions moyennes qui oscillent entre 3000 et 2500 bars; Application de 66 tonnes dacier dans des renforcements structurels; Peinture de 8007,40 m2 de structure mtallique; Stabilisation des appuis laide de tirants sur lappui sud, dmontage partiel puis remontage de lappui nord; Soulvement du tablier laide dune centrale hydraulique pour le traitement des appareils de soutien; Application de 1300 m3 de radier plongeant sur des piliers implants dans la zone fluviale; Nettoyage et impermabilisation des joints sur 6700 m2 de pierre de maonnerie sur des appuis et des piliers, dont 3400 m2 ont t effectus par des techniciens de positionnement par cordes; Application de 1866 m2 de plancher en bois de 7 cm dpaisseur; Installation de lclairage dcoratif; Application de 550 m2 de pave de granit; Application de 600 ml de gardes-corps.

Casais Engenharia e Construo recebeu o Trofu destinado ao Empreiteiro, no mbito do Prmio Secil Arquitetura 2010, pelo trabalho realizado na Casa das Histrias Paula Rego. Este galardo premeia o trabalho efetuado pela equipa Casais neste projeto emblemtico e, simultaneamente, comprova o excelente trabalho de equipa entre a nossa empresa e o arquiteto Eduardo Souto Moura. Na verdade, esta a segunda obra galardoada desta dupla, pois a primeira foi o Estdio Municipal de Braga, uma obra tambm da autoria do arquiteto Eduardo Souto Moura executada pela Casais.

asais Engenharia e Construo received the Trophy awarded to the Contractor, under the Secil Architecture Prize 2010, for the work carried out at Casa das Histrias Paula Rego. This prize rewards the work carried out by the Casais team in this emblematic project and simultaneously confirms the excellent teamwork between our team and the architect Eduardo Souto Moura. Actually, this is the second award-winning work carried out by this duo, having the first one been the Municipal Stadium of Braga, another project signed by the architect Eduardo Souto Moura and carried out by Casais.

Ce prix rcompense le travail accompli par lquipe Casais dans ce projet emblmatique et tmoigne, simultanment, de lexcellent travail dquipe entre notre socit et larchitecte Eduardo Souto Moura. En vrit, il sagit du second ouvrage rcompens de cette paire , car le premier a t le Stade Municipal de Braga, un ouvrage galement de la responsabilit de larchitecte Eduardo Souto Moura excut par Casais.

Presidente do Conselho Executivo da Casais Engenharia, Antnio Carlos Fernandes Rodrigues, participou enquanto orador no painel Oportunidades e Desafios nos Mercados Externos no mbito da conferncia A Construo em Portugal e no Mundo. A iniciativa promovida pela Associao dos Industriais da Construo Civil e Obras Pblicas (AICCOPN) decorreu na Sede do Porto, no dia 20 de janeiro.

he CEO of Casais Engenharia, Antnio Carlos Fernandes Rodrigues, participated as speaker in the panel Challenges and Opportunities in Foreign Markets within the conference Construction in Portugal and in the World. The initiative sponsored by the Association of Manufacturers of Construction and Public Works (AICCOPN) was held at their headquarters in Porto, on January 20th.

PLATAFORMA DAS ARTES RECEBE VISITA DE ESTUDO

o dia 4 de janeiro a obra da Plataforma das Artes acolheu uma visita de estudo de um grupo de 13 formandos da entidade Alamedas Office. A visita enquadrada no mdulo de Avaliao de Riscos Profissionais do curso de Tcnico Superior de Segurana e Higiene no Trabalho, teve como objetivos a realizao da avaliao de riscos profissionais num contexto real, a avaliao dos riscos associados empreitada, e a verificao da avaliao de riscos e respetiva gesto dos riscos efetuada na obra em curso.

E PROMOVE SIMULACRO DE SEGURANA E AMBIENTE


O simulacro decorreu no dia 5 de dezembro e o cenrio escolhido foi de uma queda em altura, no interior do edifcio, provocando o derrame de um produto qumico. Todos os objetivos foram cumpridos.

FIELD TRIP TO PLATAFORMA DAS ARTES PLATE-FORME DES ARTS REOIT (PLATFORM FOR THE ARTS) LA VISITE DTUDE

n January 4th, the construction site of Plataforma das Artes welcomed a field trip of a group of 13 trainees from the organization Alamedas Office. The trip, under the scope of the Occupational Risks Assessment module of the course for Advanced Technician of Safety and Health at Work, aimed to assess the occupational hazards in a real life context, the assessment of risks associated to the construction work, and the monitoring of the risk assessment and respective risk management carried out at the work in progress.

e 4 janvier louvrage de la Plate-forme des Arts a accueilli une visite dtude dun groupe de 13 personnes en formation de lentit Alamedas Office La visite qui sinscrivait dans le module dvaluation de risques professionnels du cursus de Technicien suprieur de scurit et dhygine dans le travail, a eu pour objectifs la ralisation de lvaluation de risques professionnels dans un contexte rel, lvaluation des risques associs louvrage, et la vrification de lvaluation des risques et de la gestion des risques respective effectue dans louvrage en cours.

AND CARRIES OUT A SIMULATION IN SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT


The simulation was carried out on December 5th and the chosen scenario was that of falling from heights inside a building, causing a spill of a chemical product. All goals were accomplished.

inaugurao do Four Seasons Resort Marrakech decorreu no dia 9 de novembro de 2011, numa cerimnia presidida por Sua Alteza Real, o Prncipe Moulay Rachid et S.A.R. o Prncipe Al-Walid Ibn Talal Ibn Abdelaziz Al- Saoud, na presena de Mr. Sarmad Zok Presidente da Kingdom Hotel Investments (KIH) e do Mr. Nabil Solaytine da EHC-Maroc. O resort um complexo turstico, num investimento global de 140M, situado no centro de Marrakech, junto aos mticos Jardins da Menara, ocupando uma rea de 16 hectares, albergando um hotel de 5* com de 141 quartos, 27 Suites Privadas Luxo construdas em redor das piscinas, um SPA com 15 Salas de tratamentos e Hammams, um SPA VIP especialmente preparado para receber celebridades, Fitness Club, Clube de Crianas, Centro Cultural Marroquino, Restaurantes, Piscinas e 2.6000 m2 de espaos verdes exteriores. Os trabalhos desenvolvidos pela Casais Maroc, atingiram os 48M, tendo sido iniciados em finais de 2007, com a realizao do loteamento dos 16 hectares de terreno, prosseguindo com a construo de estrutura do hotel, das 27 Suites Privadas Luxo , do Clube de Crianas, Fitness e concluindo-se com a entrega, em dezembro de 2010, das 43 Residncias Privadas de Luxo e dos dois SPAs construdos em regime de chave na mo.

he opening of Four Seasons Resort Marrakech took place on November 9th of 2011, with a ceremony presided by His Royal Highness the Prince Moulay Rachid et S.A.R., the Prince Al-Walid Ibn Talal Ibn Abdelaziz Al- Saoud, and with Mr. Sarmad Zok, President of Kingdom Hotel Investments (KIH), and Mr. Nabil Solaytine of EHC-Maroc also present. The resort is situated in the centre of Marrakech next to the historic Menara Gardens. With a global investment of 140M, it occupies an area of 16 hectares, including a 141-room fivestar hotel, 27 Private Luxury Suites built around the pools, a SPA with 15 treatment rooms and Hammams, a VIP SPA especially prepared to serve celebrities, Fitness Club, Childrens Club, Moroccan Cultural Centre, Restaurants, Pools and 2.6000 m2 of outdoor green areas. In addition to the Four Seasons Hotel, 43 Private Luxury Villas & Riads were constructed, having two to four rooms, all with private pool and garden and access to all services made available at the Hotel itself. The work carried out by Casais Maroc reached 48M, having commenced in late 2007 with the allotment of the 16 hectares of land, proceeding with the construction of the hotels structure, of the 27 Private Luxury Suites, the Childrens Club, Fitness and being completed with the handover, in December 2010, of the 43 Private Luxury Villas and the two Spas built under turnkey contract.

Les travaux dvelopps par Casais Maroc, ont atteint les 48 M, ayant t initis fin 2007, avec la ralisation du lotissement de 16 hectares de terrain, puis ensuite avec la construction de la structure de lhtel, des 27 suites prives de luxe, du club denfants, du fitness, est ayant t conclus avec la livraison en dcembre 2010 des 43 rsidences prives de luxe et des deux SPAs construits en rgime cl en main .

Mais uma agncia do Moza Banco terminada e pronta para abrir ao pblico.
Depois da concluso da agncia no Alto Ma, em Maputo, o Moza Banco abre agora na Beira, o segundo maior centro urbano e tambm a segunda maior zona econmica de Moambique. A primeira agncia do Moza Banco na Beira vai funcionar no prdio Arungua, um edifcio com quatro pisos que beneficiou tambm de obras de melhoramento no mbito desta empreitada. Esta nova agncia est dotada de condies adequadas para o atendimento seguro e personalizado dos seus clientes particulares e empresas. A Casais Moambique tem atualmente outras agncias Moza em curso: quatro em Maputo, uma em Nacala e outra no Chimoio.

Another Moza Bank branch completed and ready to be opened to the public. After the completion of the branches in Alto Ma and in Avenida Angola, both in Maputo, Moza Bank is now present in Beira, the second largest urban centre and also the second largest economic zone in Mozambique. The first branch of the Moza Bank in Beira will operate in the Arungua building, a four-storey building which also underwent renovation work included in this contract. This new branch has the ideal conditions to provide its private and corporate clients with a safe and personalized service. Casais Mozambique is currently building other Moza branches: two in Maputo Millennium Park and Sommerschield -, and one in Nacala.

Aprs la conclusion de lagence du Alto Ma, Maputo, le Moza Banco ouvre maintenant Beira, le deuxime plus grand centre urbain et aussi la seconde plus grande zone conomique de Mozambique. La premire agence du Moza Banco Beira va fonctionner dans limmeuble Arungua, un btiment de quatre tages qui a bnfici de travaux damlioration dans le contexte de cet ensemble douvrage. Cette nouvelle agence est dote de conditions appropries pour accueillir de manire sre et personnalise ses clients particuliers et des socits. participao da CNT Alemanha na construo deste edifcio de escritrios e comrcio situado em Munique foi concluda em novembro 2011. Trata-se de um edifcio retangular com dois ptios no interior e composto por nove pisos destinados a acolher mais de 200 lugares de estacionamento, armazns, um supermercado com cerca de 2.000m2, um restaurante de aproximadamente 350m2, duas lojas, um ATL e diversos escritrios. O Smarthouse um edifcio inteligente e ecolgico devido s caractersticas tcnicas previstas para economizar o consumo de energia. Ser utilizada energia geotrmica para o aquecimento e arrefecimento dos compartimentos com tetos radiantes, conforme a poca do ano. As fachadas so ventiladas e constitudas por grandes envidraados com lminas de sombra, que so comandadas por um sistema que controla a temperatura interior do edifcio. Neste edifcio, a estrutura de beto composta por elementos prefabricados (paredes, lajes e lanos de escadas) e elementos betonados in-situ (caixas de escadas e de elevadores, pilares interiores e de canto, lajes das caves e algumas paredes). Esta combinao pode ser vantajosa no sentido de se aproveitarem as principais mais valias de ambas as tcnicas: rapidez de execuo no caso da prefabricao e versatilidade de solues no caso da construo in-situ. No final, o mtodo construtivo utilizado foi bastante eficiente, sobretudo do ponto de vista da organizao e execuo dos trabalhos em obra, pois por comparao com o mtodo tradicional de cofragem, permitiu a eliminao da maior parte dos trabalhos de cofragem, uma reduo significativa do ferro a aplicar, bem como das quantidades de betonagem. Quanto aos trabalhos de acabamento de superfcie, limitaram-se ao tratamento das juntas. Adicionalmente, esta estrutura permite uma edificao mais rpida, pois os elementos estruturais podem receber carga de imediato permitindo tambm que todas as outras especialidades entrem em obra.

It is a rectangular building with two inner patios and composed of nine floors with over 200 parking spaces, warehouses, and a supermarket with about 2,000 m2, a restaurant with appro-

ximately 350 m2, two shops, a Day-care centre and several offices. The Smarthouse is an intelligent and ecological building thanks to its technical characteristics which aim to reduce the consumption of energy. Geothermal energy will be used to heat and cool the compartments with radiant panels, according to the season of the year. The facades are ventilated and composed of large glass windows with shadow blades, which are controlled by a system that controls the inner temperature of the building. The buildings concrete structure is composed of prefabricated elements (walls, slabs and staircases) and concrete applied in-situ (staircases and elevator pits, inner and corner pillars, basement slabs and some walls). This combination may be beneficial in the sense that we benefit from the main advantages of both techniques: quick execution in the case of prefabrication and versatile solutions in the case of in situ construction. In the end, the construction method used was quite efficient, mainly in terms of the organization and execution of the works. Compared to the traditional formwork method, it enabled the elimination of most of the formwork, a significant reduction of the steel to be applied, as well as the amount of concrete used. The only works for surface finishing performed were the treatment of joints. In addition, this structure enables a quixker building, since the structural elements can be loaded immediately also allowing all other specialties to begin work.

Il sagit dun btiment rectangulaire avec deux patios lintrieur et compos de neuf tages destins accueillir plus de 200 places de stationnement, des entrepts, un supermarch avec environ 2 000 m2, un restaurant de 350 m2

approximativement, deux magasins, un ATL et divers bureaux. Le Smarthouse est un btiment intelligent et cologique d aux caractristiques techniques prvues pour conomiser la consommation dnergie. Il sera utilis de lnergie gothermique pour le chauffage et le refroidissement des compartiments plafonds rayonnants, selon les poques de lanne. Les faades sont ares et constitues de grandes baies vitres avec des lames dombre commandes par un systme qui contrle la temprature intrieure du btiment. Dans ce btiment, la structure de bton est compose dlments prfabriqus (murs, dalles et tronons descaliers) et dlments btonns in situ (cages descaliers et dascenseurs, piliers intrieurs et coin, dalles des caves et certains murs). Cette combinaison peut tre avantageuse en raison de lexploitation des principales plus values des deux techniques : rapidit dexcution dans le cas de la prfabrication et versatilit de solutions dans le cas de la construction in situ . Au final, la mthode constructive utilise a t suffisamment efficace, surtout du point de vue de lorganisation et de lexcution des travaux sur le chantier, car par rapport la mthode traditionnelle de coffrage, celle-ci a permis llimination de la plupart des travaux de coffrage, une rduction significative du fer et des quantits de bton appliquer. Quant aux travaux de finition de surface, ils ont t limits au traitement des joints. Supplmentairement, cette structure permet une construction plus rapide, car les lments structurels peuvent recevoir immdiatement une charge permettant ainsi toutes les autres spcialits dentrer, galement, dans louvrage.

A participao da Casais Alemanha na construo deste edifcio situado em Bielefeld arrancou em dezembro 2011 e tem concluso prevista para junho do corrente ano. Trata-se de um edifcio pertencente universidade da cidade de Bielefeld com dimenses de implantao de aproximadamente 202x73m para auditrios e refeitrio central que est preparado para receber cerca de 2000 pessoas e servir at 7500 refeies por dia. composto por dois pisos subterrneos que acolhero cerca de 900 lugares de estacionamento e mais cinco pisos. Esta empreitada faz parte de um programa de investimento da regio Rennia do Norte-Vestflia de mais de 1000 milhes de euros at 2025 para promoo da formao e ensino superior da universidade de Bielefeld.

Casais Germanys participation in the construction of this building situated in Bielefeld began in December 2011 and is expected to be completed in June this year. The building belongs to the University of the City of Bielefeld; with a dimension of about 202m x 73m for auditoriums and central refectory with capacity for about 2000 people and able to serve up to 7500 meals per day. The building is composed of two underground floors with capacity for 900 parking spaces and five more floors above ground. This contract is a part of a North Rhine-Westphalia region investment program of over one thousand million Euros until 2025 to promote training and higher education in the University of Bielefeld.

ituado na cidade de Boom na regio de Anturpia, este projeto que arrancou no final de 2011, consiste essencialmente na reabilitao de um edifcio existente que aps renovao ir funcionar como complexo multifuncional, que poder congregar em si vrios servios municipais partilhados. O edifcio a reabilitar, o antigo hospital den Brandt que composto por um piso trreo e seis pisos superiores. No rs do cho e primeiro piso ficaro alocados um centro de emprego, um posto de polcia e um infantrio. Os restantes pisos, com exceo do sexto piso sero utilizados como lar snior, dotado de 63 apartamentos de alojamento com assistncia especial para o efeito. No exterior ser implementado um espao recreativo infantil como parte integrante do infantrio. O edifcio ir ser reabilitado estruturalmente e receber uma fachada nova, de acordo com os mais recentes critrios de eficincia energtica. Para o efeito, o edifcio foi numa primeira fase completamente desmantelado ficando apenas a estrutura. Esta empreitada foi realizada com recurso a um projeto de ao social, utilizando exclusivamente mo de obra desempregada e promovendo desta forma a (re)insero de desempregados no mercado laboral. A empreitada da CNT consiste no reforo estrutural do edifcio, incluindo entre outros a construo de caixas de elevador e de escadas, a execuo de todas as alvenarias e uma serie de trabalhos associados reabilitao geral do edifcio. Para alm destes trabalhos, faz parte da empreitada a execuo em beto armado de um novo bloco adjacente de dois pisos, que ir ser parte integrante do posto de polcia. Aos trabalhos j adjudicados poder-se-o ainda juntar as empreitadas de carpintarias, de paredes divisrias e tetos falsos e de pavimentos tcnicos, que se encontram em fase avanada de estudo oramental e negociao.

his project started in the end of 2011 and is situated in the city of Boom in the region of Antwerp. It consists essentially in the renovation of an existing building which will then operate as a multifunction complex, which in turn will be able to comprise several shared municipal services. The building that will be renovated is the old den Brandt hospital that is composed of a ground floor and six higher floors. On the ground and first floors there will be an employment centre, a police station and a kindergarten school. The other floors, with the exception of the sixth floor, will be used as a senior home with 63 apartments with special assistance for that effect. There will be a child recreation space on the outside as part of the kindergarten school. The buildings structure will be renovated and will have a new facade in compliance with the most recent energy efficiency criteria. For that, the building was completely dismantled down to its structure in a first phase. This contract was performed using a social action project, using exclusively unemployed labour thus promoting the (re)insertion of unemployed people in the labour market. The CNTs contract consists in the structural reinforcement of the building, including the construction of elevator shafts and staircases, the execution of all masonry and a series of works associated to the general renovation of the building, among others. In addition to these works, the construction of a new adjacent two-storey building in reinforced concrete, which will be part of the police station, is included in the contract. Besides the works already awarded under this contract, the carpentry work, dividing walls and false ceilings and technical flooring, which are at an advanced stage of budgeting and negotiation, can still be added to the contract.

Le btiment rhabiliter est lancien hpital den Brandt qui est compos dun rez-de-chausse et de six tages suprieurs. Un centre demploi, un poste de police et une crche seront allous au rez-de-chausse et au premier tage. Les autres tages lexception du sixime tage seront utiliss comme foyer snior, dot de 63 appartements de logement avec assistance spciale cet effet. Un espace rcratif pour enfants sera mis en place lextrieur comme faisant partie intgrante de la crche. Le btiment sera structurellement rhabilit et recevra une nouvelle faade conformment aux derniers critres defficacit nergtique. Pour cela, le btiment a t compltement dmantel dans une premire phase laissant seulement la structure. Ce travail a t effectu avec lutilisation dun projet daction sociale, en utilisant exclusivement du travail chmeurs promouvant ainsi, la (r)intgration de chmeurs dans le march du travail. Les ouvrages de CNT consistent en le renforcement de la structure du btiment, y compris entre autres la construction de cages dascenseur et descaliers, lexcution de toutes les maonneries et une srie de travaux lis la rhabilitation gnrale du btiment. En plus de ces travaux, on inclura dans ceux-ci lexcution en bton arm dun nouveau bloc adjacent deux tages qui fera partie du poste de police. Aux travaux dj adjugs pourront encore tre ajouts les travaux de menuiseries, les murs de sparation et les faux- plafonds et les planchers techniques, qui se trouvent dans une phase avance dtude budgtaire et de ngociation.

WINDFARM PROJECT

m fevereiro, arrancou uma nova obra cujo projeto de conceo/construo da responsabilidade da Jan De Nul, e que consiste na execuo e instalao em alto mar de 16 fundaes gravticas destinadas implantao de um parque elico offshore na Sucia. A cargo da CNT Blgica fica a execuo das fundaes no porto de Zeebrugge, sendo depois as mesmas transportadas por via martima para a Sucia onde sero depositadas no local definido, em Karehamn (Mar Bltico). As estruturas de beto sero executadas sobre dois bateles, distribuindo-se de acordo com a capacidade dos mesmos, sendo executadas 12 unidades no de maior dimenso e 4 unidades no de menor dimenso. A altura dos elementos a construir varia entre os 12 e os 24,5 metros. Trata-se de elementos de beto fortemente armados, onde sero utilizadas cofragens metlicas da RSB, desenhadas e concebidas especificamente para este projeto. O principal desafio desta empreitada prende-se com o prazo de execuo (cinco meses), considerando a sua conjugao com os fatores novidade, volume de trabalho e local de execuo - que estaro bem presentes ao longo de todo o projeto.

The project consists of the construction of 16 gravitational foundations and their installation in high sea to be used for the implantation of an offshore wind power plant in Switzerland. CNT Belgium is responsible for the construction of the foundations at the Zeebrugge Port, foundations which will then be transported by sea to Switzerland where they will be set in the specified place, in Karehamn (Baltic Sea). The concrete structures will be built on two barges, distributed among them according to their capacities, with 12 units being built on the largest barge and 4 units on the smallest. The height of those elements varies from 12 to 24.5 metres. They are heavily reinforced concrete elements, in which RSB metallic formwork will be used, designed and conceived specifically for this project. The main challenge posed by this contract was its time for completion (five months), taking into consideration its combination with the factors of it being new, the workload and site for execution, which will all be felt throughout the duration of the whole project.

ambm em fevereiro, a CNT Blgica atravs do Grupo Ghelamco, iniciou a construo do Zoute Wellness Hotel implantado numa rea de 2.759m2. Este hotel de cinco estrelas est localizado no centro de uma das cidades mais conhecidas da costa belga, Knokke, e nas proximidades da reserva natural de Zoute. O exterior do Wellness Hotel apresenta um design bem caraterstico da edificao nesta zona, sendo o seu interior sustentado por espaos amplos e luminosos numa envolvente de veraneio, dada a sua estreita proximidade ao mar. Dos trs pisos enterrados, dois destinam-se sobretudo ao parqueamento e arrecadaes, e o outro servir um ginsio, SPA e piscinas interior e exterior. Os quatro pisos superiores contaro com 45 quartos, sala de conferncias, restaurante e bar. Com uma viso de desenvolvimento no mercado hoteleiro este hotel voltado para o mercado superior e pretende promover a arte de bem-estar. Paralelamente, este projeto responde s necessidades de quartos adicionais identificadas na regio de Knokke.

Departamento de Preveno e Segurana (DPS) da Casais promoveu para toda a equipa uma iniciativa de formao e sensibilizao atravs de uma visita de estudo empreitada de Reforo de Potncia da Barragem de Venda Nova, que decorreu no dia 22 de dezembro. Trata-se de uma obra em curso de caratersticas especiais promovida pela EDP - Gesto de Produo de Energia, SA e que est a ser executada pelo ACE constitudo pelas empresas MSF/Somague/Mota-Engil e Spie Batignolles, com previso de concluso dos trabalhos para 15 de agosto de 2015.

A obra visa aumentar a capacidade de produo de energia no aproveitamento hidroeltrico de Venda Nova, construdo na dcada de 50 junto confluncia do rio Cavado com o rio Rabago, no concelho de Vieira do Minho e distrito de Braga, j com um reforo de potncia em servio industrial desde 2005. Este reforo de potncia consiste na construo de uma nova central subterrnea com dimenses de 103,0 x 25,0m2 onde sero instalados diversos equipamentos, nomeadamente, dois grupos reversveis de 2x 375,5 MW / 410 MV e de uma caverna contgua de menores dimenses onde sero instalados dois transformadores que elevam a tenso de produo de 21 kv para 400 kv. o circuito hidrulico ser constitudo por uma tomada de gua composta por um bocal e uma torre de menobra dos equipamentos hidromecnicos, um tnel em carga com cerca de 13,8% de inclinao, uma chamin de equilbrio superior constituda por dois poos verticais e uma chamin de equilbrio inferior constituda por um poo vertical, um tnel de restituio com um trecho subhorizontal e um trecho final com inclinao ascendente a 15% no revestida, uma restituio composta por um bocal e dotada dos respetivos equipamentos hidromecnicos e, ainda, a escavao de um canal no leito do rio Rabago destinado a garantir as adequadas condies de alimentao em bombagem.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKS:


The Project aims to increase the capacity for energy production in the hydroelectric exploitation in Venda Nova, built in the 50s at the confluence of the Cvado River and Rabago River in the municipality of Vieira do Minho and District of Braga, already with power reinforcement in industrial service since 2005. This power reinforcement consists of the construction of a new underground plant with the dimensions of 103.0 x 25.0 m2 in which several equipments will be installed, namely two reversible units of 2x 375.5 MW / 410 MV and of a smaller contiguous cave in which two transformers will be installed that will increase the voltage production from 21 kV to 400 kV. The hydraulic circuit will consist of a water intake composed by a nozzle and a tower to control the hydro mechanic equipment, a charged tunnel with about 13.8% inclination, a higher balance chimney composed by two vertical wells and a lower balance chimney composed of one vertical well, a restoration tunnel with a sub horizontal reach and a final reach with an upward inclination of 15%, a restoration composed by a nozzle and with the respective hydro mechanical equipment, and the excavation of a canal at the waterbed of the Rabago River meant to ensure the adequate conditions for energy supply during pumping.

Ce renforcement de puissance consiste en la construction dune nouvelle centrale souterraine avec des dimensions de 103,0 x 25,0 m2 o seront installs divers quipements, notamment, deux groupes rversibles de 2x 375,5 MW/410 MV et dune caverne contigu de moindres dimensions o seront installs deux transformateurs qui lvent la tension de production de 21 kV 400 kV le circuit hydraulique sera constitu dune prise deau compose dun embout et une tour de manoeuvre des quipements hydromcaniques, un tunnel de chargement denviron 13,8 % dinclinaison, une chemine dquilibre suprieur constitue de deux puits verticaux et dune chemine dquilibre infrieur constitue dun puits vertical, dun tunnel de restitution avec un tronon sous-horizontal et dun tronon final avec inclinaison ascendante 15 % non revtue, dune restitution compose par un embout et dote des quipements hydromcaniques respectifs et, aussi, de lexcavation dun canal dans le lit du fleuve Rabago destin garantir les conditions dalimentation adquates lors du pompage.

The first retail Park of the city of Lobito, in Benguela, is a project with an area of 15 thousand square meters that results from an investment of around 22 million dollars. At this phase, 50% of the commercialization is already guaranteed, being that 40% of those are detained by Kero brand insignia of the entirely Angolan society of capitals, Zahara Comrcio S.A., which targets for national coverage and intends to broaden the concept to three formats: hypermarket, supermarket and convenience stores. Estratgia Nacional para a Energia 2020 (ENE 2020) prev uma panplia de iniciativas e medidas consideradas fundamentais para alcanar as metas da eficincia na utilizao final de energia e dos servios energticos. A eficincia energtica na Iluminao Pblica (IP) constitui uma dessas iniciativas, sendo que a regulao de fluxo na IP representa uma das medidas essenciais para alcanar tais objetivos de eficincia. De um modo geral, podemos afirmar que a necessidade de aumentar a eficincia energtica nos mais diversos sistemas consumidores de energia est diretamente relacionada com o facto de esses sistemas serem os responsveis pelo aumento das emisses de gases com efeito de estufa (GEE). Tomemos, como exemplo, o caso da na Unio Europeia (UE), em que o consumo de energia est na origem de 80% das emisses deste tipo de gases. Consequentemente, reduzir estas emisses implica um menor consumo de energia e uma maior utilizao de energia limpa.

The National Strategy for Energy 2020 (ENE 2020) includes an array of initiatives and measures considered to be vital to reach the goals of efficiency in the final use of energy and of the energy services. The energy efficiency in Public Lighting (PL) constitutes one of these initiatives, being that the flux regulation in the PL represents one of the essential measures to accomplish such efficiency goals. In general, we can say that the need to increase energy efficiency in the most diverse energy consuming systems is directly related with the fact that these systems are responsible for the increase of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). Let us take the case of the European Union (EU) as an example, in which the energy consumption is the origin of 80% of the emissions of this type of gases. Consequently, to reduce these emissions implies a lesser consumption of energy and a bigger use of clean energy.

La Stratgie nationale pour lnergie 2020 (ENE 2020) prvoit une panoplie dinitiatives et des mesures considres fondamentales pour atteindre les objectifs de lefficacit lors de lutilisation finale de lnergie et des services nergtiques. Lefficacit nergtique dans lclairage public (EP) constitue lune de ces initiatives, le rglage du flux de lEP reprsentant une des mesures essentielles pour atteindre de tels objectifs defficacit. Dune manire gnrale, nous pouvons affirmer que la ncessit daugmenter lefficacit nergtique dans les systmes consommateurs dnergie les plus divers est directement lie au fait que ces systmes sont les responsables de laugmentation des missions de gaz effet de serre (GES). Prenons, par exemple, le cas de lUnion Europenne (UE), o la consommation dnergie est lorigine de 80 % des missions provenant de ce type de gaz. neste contexto que surge a Estratgia 20-20-20 para 2020 para a UE, cujas trs principais metas passam pela reduo de 20% do consumo de energia e das emisses de GEE e pelo compromisso de que 20% da energia consumida seja proveniente de fontes renovveis. No que diz respeito a Portugal, a ENE 2020 enquadra as linhas de rumo para a competitividade, o crescimento e a independncia energtica do pas, atravs da aposta nas energias renovveis e da promoo integrada da eficincia energtica. Com estas medidas pretende-se garantir a segurana de abastecimento e a sustentabilidade econmica e ambiental do modelo energtico. Por outro lado, na sequncia do Plano Nacional de Ao para a Eficincia Energtica (PNAEE) e da ENE 2020, o Programa de Eficincia Energtica na Administrao Pblica ECO.AP visa obter at 2020, nos servios pblicos e nos organismos da Administrao Pblica, um nvel de eficincia energtica na ordem dos 20% em face dos atuais valores. Para se concretizarem tais objetivos, ser necessrio utilizar racionalmente a energia, melhorar a eficincia energtica das instalaes semafricas, aumentar a eficincia energtico-ambiental dos equipamentos de IP, e paralelamente e como consequncia dos objetivos anteriores, proceder diminuio das emisses de CO2, indo desta forma ao encontro das metas designadas no Protocolo de Quioto. Cabe aos Municpios, atravs do seu relacionamento com a entidade distribuidora de energia, a responsabilidade de assegurar o bom funcionamento e avaliar o desempenho da IP. Este ltimo aspeto revelase particularmente importante no contexto das finanas autrquicas, pelo que as nossas cidades pretendem, atualmente, encontrar solues para a reduo do consumo de energia e custos manuteno associados s instalaes de IP. Atualmente estima-se que 20% do consumo total de energia mundial esteja relacionado com os parques de iluminao, ou seja, uma parte considervel da fatura de energia eltrica no setor pblico e privado vai para iluminao exterior. Por outro lado, os nmeros correntes relacionados com consumos energticos revelam que a IP representa, a nvel global, cerca de 8% do consumo total de energia com iluminao. Contudo, este valor reduzido esconde um uso de energia intensivo, j que 79% dos custos com este servio so energia e que os restantes 21% representam os custos do equipamento, instalao e manuteno. Em Portugal, a IP responsvel por 3% do consumo eltrico total, sendo que os respetivos custos energticos representam, em alguns casos, mais de 50% nas despesas dos Municpios com energia, verificando-se nos ltimos anos uma tendncia de aumento anloga melhoria dos nveis de iluminao da regio (cerca de 4 a 5% por ano). Neste contacto, afigura-se imperativa e estratgica a implementao de solues para medir, analisar e reduzir o consumo de energia eltrica nas rede de IP, assim como, identificar falhas nos elementos que as compem, controlar remotamente a IP e recolher dados sobre o seu funcionamento, de forma a reduzir as despesas com os gastos de eletricidade e de manuteno, contribuindo para a reduo das emisses de CO2.

It is in this context that the Strategy 20-20-20 for 2020 appears for the EU. Its three main goals consist of the reduction of 20% of the energy consumption and of the GHG emissions and for the commitment that 20% of the consumed energy be originated from renewable sources. In what concerns Portugal, ENE 2020 sets out the guidelines for the competitiveness, the growth and the energy independence of the country, by betting on renewable energies and on the integrated promotion of energy efficiency. These measures aim to guarantee the security of provision and the economic and environmental sustainability of the energy model. On the other hand, in line with the National Plan of Action for Energy Efficiency (PNAEE) and with ENE 2020, the Program for Energy Efficiency in Public Administration ECO.AP aims to obtain a level of energy efficiency of about 20% in light of the current values until 2020 in the public services and in the Public Administration Bodies. In order for such objectives to be accomplished, it will be necessary to use the energy rationally, to improve the energy efficiency of the traffic lighting installations, to increase the energetic and environmental efficiency of the PL equipment, and in parallel and as a consequence of the previous objectives, to proceed with the reduction of the emissions of CO2, thus fulfilling the goals assigned in the Kyoto Protocol. It is the municipalities responsibility to ensure the proper operation and to evaluate the performance of the PL through their relationship with the energy distribution entity. This last thing is of particular importance in the context of the municipal finances, which is why our cities currently intend to find solutions for the reduction of energy consumption and maintenance costs associate to the PL installations. Currently, it is estimated that 20% of the total world-wide consumption of energy be related with the illumination parks, in other words, a considerable part of the electric energy bill in the public and private sectors goes to outdoor lighting. On the other hand, the current numbers related with energy consumptions show that PL represents globally about 8% of the total energy consumption with lighting. However, this low value hides an intensive use of energy, since 79% of the costs with this service are energy and that the remaining 21% represent the costs of the equipment, installation and maintenance. In Portugal, PL is responsible for 3% of the total electric consumption, being that the respective energy costs represent, in some cases, more than 50% in the expenditures of the Municipalities with energy, there having been a trend of increase analogous to the improvement of the levels of lighting in the region in the past years (about 4 to 5% per year). In this contact, the implementation of solutions to measure, analyze and reduce the consumption of electric energy in the PL networks is considered to be imperative and strategic, as well as it is to identify flaws in the elements that compose them, to remotely control the PL and to collect data about its functioning, in order to reduce the expenses with the costs of electricity and maintenance, contributing for the reduction of the emissions of CO2.

Cest dans ce contexte que surgit une Stratgie 20-20-20 pour 2020 pour lUE, dont les trois principaux objectifs passent par la rduction de 20 % de la consommation dnergie et dmissions de GES et par lengagement que 20 % de la consommation dnergie proviennent de sources renouvelables. Dans le cas du Portugal, lENE 2020 encadre les lignes dorientation pour la comptitivit, la croissance et lindpendance nergtique du pays, grce au pari sur les nergies renouvelables et la promotion intgre de lefficacit nergtique. Ces mesures visent garantir la scurit de lapprovisionnement et la durabilit conomique et lenvironnementale du modle nergtique. Dautre part, faisant suite au Plan national daction pour lefficacit nergtique (PNAEE) et lENE 2020, le Programme de lefficacit nergtique dans ladministration publique - ECO.AP vise obtenir jusquen 2020, dans le secteur des services publics et des organes de ladministration publique, un niveau defficacit nergtique de lordre de 20 % par rapport aux valeurs actuelles. Afin datteindre ces objectifs, il sera ncessaire, dutiliser de manire rationnelle lnergie, damliorer lefficacit nergtique des installations des feux de circulation, daccrotre lefficacit nergtique environnementale des quipements de lEP, et paralllement et en consquence des objectifs prcdents, de procder la diminution des missions de CO2, respectant ainsi les objectifs dsigns par le Protocole de Kyoto. Il incombe aux municipalits, au travers de leur relation avec lentit distributrice dnergie, la responsabilit dassurer le bon fonctionnement et dvaluer les performances de lEP. Ce dernier aspect est particulirement important dans le contexte des finances municipales, raison pour laquelle nos villes souhaitent, actuellement, trouver des solutions pour la rduction de la consommation dnergie et pour les cots dentretien lis aux installations de lEP. Actuellement, on estime que 20 % de la consommation totale de lnergie mondiale est lie aux parcs dclairage, cest--dire quune partie considrable de la facture dlectricit dans le secteur public et dans le secteur priv va lclairage extrieur. Dautre part, les chiffres courants lis la consommation dnergie montrent que lEP reprsente, lchelle mondiale, environ 8 % de la consommation totale dnergie avec lclairage. Toutefois, cette valeur rduite cache une utilisation de lnergie intensive, tant donn que 79 % des cots avec ce service proviennent de lnergie et que les 21 % restants reprsentent les cots dquipement, dinstallation et dentretien. Au Portugal, lEP est responsable de 3 % de la consommation lectrique totale, les cots nergtiques respectifs reprsentant, dans certains cas, plus de 50 % des dpenses des municipalits avec lnergie, on constate nanmoins une tendance laugmentation ces dernires annes semblable lamlioration des niveaux dclairages de la rgion (environ 4 5 % par an). Dans ce contact, la mise en uvre de solutions pour mesurer, analyser et rduire la consommation dnergie lectrique des rseaux de lEP savre imprative et stratgique, ainsi que, pour identifier les dfauts dans les lments qui les composent, pour contrler lEP distance et pour collecter des donnes sur son fonctionnement, afin de rduire les frais avec les dpenses en lectricit et entretien, contribuant ainsi la rduction des missions de CO2.

Grupo Casais tem vindo a desempenhar um papel muito proativo no apoio e implementao de solues consideradas de eficincia energtica, sendo a regulao de fluxo, uma das reas onde tem vindo a evidenciar-se. As solues de regulao de fluxo encontram-se, atualmente, perfeitamente identificadas, com resultados muito positivos e benefcios imediatos para as instalaes de IP. Perspetivamos que o futuro da eficincia energtica na IP passe pela implementao de um misto destas solues, sendo que cada uma dever ser devidamente estudada e valorizada, de modo a ir de encontro das necessidade dos Municpios e consequentemente, de todos ns. do conhecimento corrente que a IP, em alguns dos casos, se encontra sobredimensionada, no necessitando de estar ligada potncia nominal durante o perodo normal e total de funcionamento. A possibilidade de se reduzir o fluxo luminoso durante determinados perodos noturnos garante economias no consumo de energia eltrica, conservando-se sempre um nvel de segurana para os utentes. Neste contexto, surgem as solues de regulao de fluxo como fundamentais na gesto de uma rede de IP, que se pretende que seja eficiente, passvel de ser gerida e devidamente monitorizada. The Casais Group has come to play a very proactive role in the support and implementation of what are considered to be energy efficiency solutions, being the flux regulation one of the areas in which it has come to prove itself. The flux regulation solutions are currently perfectly identified, with very positive results and immediate benefits for the PL installations. We believe that the future of energy efficiency in PL lay in the application of a combination of these solutions, being that each one should be duly studied and valued in order to meet the needs of the Municipalities and, consequently, of all of us. It is of general knowledge that PL, in some of the cases, is over-scaled, not needing to be connected to the nominal capacity during the normal and total period of functioning. The possibility of reducing the luminous flux during certain night periods ensures saving in the consumption of electric energy, maintaining a level of security for the users at all times. In this context, the solutions for flux regulation appear as fundamental in the management of PL networks, which is intended to be efficient, able to be managed and duly monitored. On the other hand, and as a consequence, the regulation of the flux also contributes for an increase of the interval of time for substitution of the light bulbs in about 50% (called relamping), thus reducing the maintenance costs.

They are devices that enable the regulation of the light bulbs flux through the dimming function. This could be carried out by the variation by platforms or in a continuous form. In general, we can relate this function with the density of traffic, the local atmospheric conditions, the adaptability to the local parameters of the lighting project, the factor of maintenance of the light bulbs luminous flow (LLMF) and certain time programming (predetermined or programmable). The savings results obtained can be of 16% after dimming to 70% (with double level ballasts) or savings of 22% after dimming to 60% (in the case of electronic ballasts).

Ce sont des dispositifs qui permettent deffectuer lajustement du flux de la lampe travers la fonction dimming. Cette fonction pourra tre effectue par la variation par tapes ou de faon continue. Os reguladores de fluxo so equipamentos instalados cabeceira de um sistema de IP, em local adjacente ao respetivo posto de transformao. Tem como principal funo fazer baixar o nvel de luminncia associado a esse sistema, em horas de menor trfego ou de menor afluncia e circulao de pessoas. So perfeitamente programveis, j que esto normalmente associados a um relgio astronmico. Complementarmente, e de modo a potenciar a utilizao destes equipamentos, esta soluo dever estar interligada a um sistema de telegesto. Os reguladores de fluxo podem ser eletrnicos ou utilizar autotransformadores. Nestes ltimos a comutao realizada por: Circuitos eletromecnicos (rels e contactores), que por sua vez so acionados eletronicamente; Circuitos estticos eletrnicos (triacs, IGBTs, alternistor e tirstores) controlados pelo mdulo eletrnico de controlo; Autotransformadores motorizados que regulam a tenso necessria a injetar no secundrio do autotransformador principal (booster), de modo a fornecer a tenso necessria para subtrair ou adicionar tenso do primrio (tenso de sada).

A CASAIS - Engenharia e Construo tem vindo, nos ltimos anos, a acompanhar o mercado da regulao de fluxo (na IP e outras aplicaes de iluminao exterior), tendo neste momento, implementadas j diversas instalaes com reguladores de fluxo (em 4 empreitadas, num total de 72 reguladores instalados e a funcionar). Entretanto, j nos foram adjudicados mais 99 reguladores, em dois Municpios distintos e concorremos a mais 282 reguladores, distribudos por quatro concursos pblicos. Os resultados tm sido muito gratificantes e vindo a comprovar, no s a eficincia desta soluo, como a robustez dos equipamentos instalados. A estabilizao da tenso aplicada instalao, a reduo dos consumos de energia (entre os 30 e os 40%), a facilidade no controlo e gesto dos equipamentos e o aumento da longevidade dos consumveis (lmpadas e balastros) tm sido os principais benefcios reconhecidos por quem est, entretanto, a explorar estes sistemas.

CASAIS - Engenharia e Construo has monitored the market of flux regulation in the past years (in PL and other applications of outdoor lighting), having at this moment already installed flux regulators in several facilities (in 4 contracts, in a total of 72 regulators installed and functioning). However, 99 more regulators have already been awarded to us in two distinct Municipalities, and we have applied to tenders for 282 more regulators, distributed throughout 4 public tenders. The results have been very rewarding and have come to prove, not only the efficiency of this solution, but also the robustness of the equipment installed. The stabilization of the voltage applied to the installation, the reduction of the energy consumptions (between 30 and 40%), the easiness in the control and management of the equipment and the increase of the longevity of the consumables (light bulbs and ballasts) have been the main benefits recognized by those who are, meanwhile, exploiting these systems.

Os sistemas ponto a ponto podem ser via PLC (Power Line Carrier ou correntes portadoras) ou RF (Radio frequency - wireless, ZigBee, Mesh Network). A implementao desta soluo passa por colocar, no interior do posto de transformao, um controlador de segmento (CS), alojado num quadro eltrico, conjuntamente com um modem de comunicao. Em cada poste (luminria) colocado, por troca do existente, um balastro eletrnico regulvel (1-10V ou DALI) e um controlador de luminria (OLC), que lhe dar o endereo respetivo de modo a fazer-se uma gesto luminria a luminria, da a designao ponto a ponto. De modo a podermos gerir convenientemente a nossa soluo, todo este sistema passvel de ser monitorizado e supervisionado via Web portal.

Resumidamente o sistema ponto a ponto constitudo por: Controlador exterior da Luminria (OLC Outdoor Luminaire Controler) o aparelho que faz o controlo do balastro/driver programvel da fonte de luz e de todos os sensores existentes na luminria, proporcionando um sistema de iluminao dinmico. O n de comunicao baseado em tecnologias e protocolos normalizados, recebe os comandos de ligar/desligar a luminria e permite o dimming da lmpada, previso e identificao de falhas, aquisio e medida de dados. Atualmente, este controlador poder fazer parte integrante da luminria. Controlador de segmento de iluminao (SC Segment Controler) colocado em cada armrio de controlo, comunica com os ns de comunicao e permite vrias funcionalidades incluindo um relgio astronmico, a calendarizao do dim das lmpadas durante a noite, a aquisio de dados locais, a gesto da comunicao de dados sobre a rede TCP/IP com o portal web do sistema de monitorizao remoto. Sistema central de gesto (GW/CMS Central Management Sistem) agrega e filtra os dados dos pontos de iluminao atravs do(s) controlador(es) de segmento de iluminao, transformando-os em informao valiosa, entregue aos operadores do sistema atravs de um portal web.

In sum, the point-to-point system is composed by: The OLC - Outdoor Luminaire Controller is the device that controls the programmable ballast/ driver of the source of light and all the existing sensors in the luminaire, providing a dynamic lighting system. The communication node is based on standardized technologies and protocols, receives the commands to turn the luminaire on/off and enables the dimming of the light bulb, the anticipation and identification of glitches, the collection and measurement of data. Nowadays, this controller can be an integrant part of the luminaire. SC - Segment Controller is placed in each control cabinet, it communicates with the communication nodes and enables several functions including an astronomical clock, the scheduling of the dimming of the light bulbs during the night, the collection of local data, the management of data communication on the TCP/IP network with the remote monitoring systems web portal. The GW/CMS - Central Management System gathers and filters the data from the points of illumination through the segment controller(s), transforming them into valuable information, which is delivered to the system operators through a web portal.

En somme, le systme point point est compos de: Le contrleur extrieur du Luminiare (OLC Outdoor Luminaire Controler) qui est lappareil qui fait le contrle du ballast/driver programmable de la source de lumire et de tous les capteurs existants dans le luminaire, offrant un systme dclairage dynamique. Le noeud de la communication est bas sur des technologies et des protocoles normaliss, il reoit lordre dallumer/teindre le luminaire et permet le dimming de lampoule, la prvision et lidentification des failles, lacquisition et la mesure des donnes. Actuellement, ce contrleur peut faire partie intgrante du luminaire. Making the best use of all the controllers (of luminaire and of segment) and of the communication systems, the dynamic remote management platform should allow to interact and to configure all the services, as well as to collect data on the state of operation of the luminaire itself and of the segments, allowing for example: To monitor and to configure the state of all the parameters of the luminaire, namely the parameters for configuration of the sensors and its state of performance; To configure the timing of the variations of the luminous flux in functions of the state of the sensors; To establish communities of luminaires by streets, municipalities, districts, etc. In these communities the luminaires should be configured by group; To react to the information of the sensors in group or individually; To manage the information of the sensors in group or individually; To adjust flux levels in function of the data from the sensors in group or individually; To gather all the information considered to be useful from the luminaire (identification, power, network address, group to which it belongs, current configuration of the sensors, type of management (in group or individual), configuration of the sensitivity of the sensors, logical relations of the state of the sensors, relations of the information from the sensors with the configuration of the luminous flux); Gathering of alarms and their correlation. There should be an application to present the lists of alarms. No mbito desta soluo de regulao de fluxo, e fundamentalmente, de gesto de redes de IP, a CASAIS Engenharia e Construo alm de ter realizado uma instalao piloto com 17 pontos de iluminao que est a funcionar, desde 2009, no Municpio de Vila Nova de Gaia, implementou tambm, uma soluo similar para 176 pontos de iluminao na autoestrada A28.

A Carpincasais tem em curso uma estratgia de internacionalizao integrada com abordagens efectivas aos mercados francs, brasileiro e angolano, onde j operam as filiais (algumas em parceria com a Socimorcasal) RMCasais, Casa Pronta e Carpinangola, respetivamente. Nas infraestruturas e equipamentos houve um elevado investimento na Carpincasais.

Fulfilling the requests concerning the needs for outsourcing in due time, and thus fulfilling the end clients needs. We select qualified suppliers and promote strategic partnerships. Carpincasais has a strategy for integrated internationalization underway with effective approaches to the French, Brazilian and Angolan markets, in which its branches RMCasais, Casa Pronta and Carpinangola already operate (some in partnership with Socimorcasal). There was a large investment made in Carpincasais infrastructures and equipment.

Rpondre en temps voulu aux demandes relatives aux besoins en rgime de sous-traitance, et par ce biais, ceux du client final. Nous avons slectionn des fournisseurs qualifis et nous avons promu des partenariats stratgiques.

Carpincasais est en train dlaborer une stratgie dinternationalisation intgre avec des approches effectives pour les marchs franais, brsilien et angolais, o les filiales oprent dj (certaines en partenariat avec Socimorcasal) RMCasais, Casa Pronta et Carpinangola, respectivement. Carpincasais a beaucoup investi en infrastructures et quipements.
