Wisdom----A matter of perception

As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.
The development of a child is a very important milestone in a rapidly progressing society. These children will become responsible citizens of the country and this is possible only when a child learns different skills and feels comfortable in solving his own problems. The children of the age group 9 to 12 start with an abstract thinking and learn to extend their reasoning beyond their personal experiences and knowledge which further take them to view the world outside as an absolute black- white/right-wrong perspective. The educational dynamics in todays world ensure the development of emotional intelligence, a positive psychology and the promotion of problem solving and lateral thinking techniques. Various skills enable children to realize their holistic potential in the process of learning which is a joyful experience and allow the learner to find the meaning & significance of life, through which the curiosity, the sense of entrepreneurship, adventurism, the desire for creativity, cooperation and co-existence is magnified. These skills help them to discover the unfathomable oceans of knowledge & nurture the latent & creative potential of the child to be assertive and also help in effective communication. Children of the above mentioned age range are able to answer who, what and where questions but still may have problems with why questions. Therefore to resolve this issue we must develop the reasoning power and let them be able to make all intellectual leaps, such as inferring a motive or reasoning hypothetically.

Dont let the odds scare you from even trying Today there is too much of time-table in a childs life---too much structure that a child cannot escape from. We as adults must identify their potential in different areas and nurture a particular skill. Explore their potential: Children develop necessary physical and mental skills and attitudes in themselves at this age. Refining brain connections: A child continuously changes into rates of maturity and eventually the heart gets connected to mind. Developing a sense of wisdom: Gradually a child of this age category knows the difference between right and wrong and is usually assertive. Our duty is to manifest the thought process and guide them. Problem solving initiative: Let the child take the first step to solve his or her problem which later on will give a fine definition of self respect and confidence. It is much easier to be critical than correct Significantly we also open up the possibility that we can teach our children the fundamentals of wisdom---the mind set which encourages them to search out and balance different perspectives in any given situation. Our only aim is to impart values and skills to our children that make a positive impact towards helping them to have a successful and enriching life in future which also includes integrity, innovative intelligence, involvement and inspiration. The right perception establishes under the heavy loaded umbrella of Wisdom and under the guidance of correct principles.
