To: Xavier University Community Re: Temporary leave of absence for the ASEACCU Conference _______________________________________________________________________

On August 21 26, 2013, I will be on leave to represent Xavier University in the Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU) Conference with the theme New Ardor, New Method, New Expression: The Mission of Catholic Higher Education for New Evangelization. This event will take place in the Catholic University of Korea, Seoul, South Korea. ASEACCU is a regional association of Catholic Universities in countries within this geographical area. The purpose of the organization is to promote Catholic higher education and to be a support for the local Churches. ASEACCU also aims to contribute to educational dialogue on an international level beyond the Southeast and East Asian region. It is my hope to represent Xavier University well in this prestigious conference. I hope that my attendance in the said event would contribute, in any way, to the preservation of Catholic faith among the youth in Cagayan de Oro City which is integral to our spiritual formation. In my absence, Mr. Harold John Laborte, CSG Vice-President, will act as the officer-incharge of the Central Student Government on the abovementioned dates.
