Bianca Dagga is queer multicultural burlesque performer based in NYC. She is member of Brooklyn based Drag alliance "Switch N Play." In 2010 she was awarded "Sexiest Burlesque performer" by GO Magazine. She is also an art muse, serial crafter, and spark of fire. Her performances are a platform for radical selfexpression & celebration of inner & outer beauty. Her work has been featured in conferences, pride events & Universities along the East Coast. She directed and produced THE CHICKAHOMINY FIGHT, (a story about her Tribe's struggle for federal recognition), for her master's thesis at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. This past summer, she moderated a panel discussion at the United Nations on Indigenous Media during World Indigenous Peoples Day; she is a HuffPost LIVE commentator; and, she was an on-air reporter for the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network National News in Canada. Her mission and primary reason for working in documentary film, is to give a voice to Native communities, as their stories are rarely covered by mainstream media. Through her work, she hopes to educate, inspire, and bring important stories to the forefront. Jamie Register is a gem of a musician hailing from Ann Arbor. She took the poly-genre group Cloud Nine Music to new heights, including cross country tours and multiple performances at the Telluride Jazz Festival. Her on-stage presence and soulful voice are often compared to Lauren Hill. In 2003 Jamie began playing bass and singing with the Afro-pop group NOMO. Her groovalicious bass lines and infectious voice helped NOMO earn a nomination for the 2007 BBC music awards Sakinah Iman is an Actress/Vocalist/Spoken Word Artist of Jamaican and Carib Indian decent, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Sakinah has performed in colleges around the country, such as Barnard College at Columbia University, Howard University, University at Albany, Syracuse, to name a few. Al Smith a.k.a ALjam: Aljam with a masters degree in Counseling and Psycho-Therapy is a guitarist, song-writer and vocalist. Aljam co-hosts, with First Lady of Tea, Victoria a weekly NYradio program "Greenzone Radio" on 93.5fm Wed. at midnight wvipfm.com.

Gaelle Voltaire graduated from Fordham in the Spring. She is currently working on becoming a better writer and is excited to have her debut on the "Rivers of Honey" stage!

Monica McIntyre is a gifted and impassioned lyricist, vocalist, and cellist. She combines: metaphor, bass lines, word-play, strummed chords, and powerful vocals to convey stories, emotions, and truth to her audience. Inspired by the need to express her personal stories as well as those of the people in her life and the world; she gives voice to tragedy, beauty, strength, healing, love, and loss. She has recently relocated to New Orleans, Louisiana and is pursuing her craft there.

Jeaninne "5"Kayembe is a 22 year-old Los Angeles / inland empire native whos been on the east coast for the past 5 years working on wholistic living through the arts. She has participated in brave new voices poetry slam since age 16 and has appeared on Russelle Simmionss Def Poetry Presents Brave New Voices in 2008. She is currently working on an educational farm with plans to revolutionize the food and restaurant industry while also perusing an artistic career. DJ Zena was born, raised, and still resides in Brooklyn, NY. Shes well versed in playing old and new school house music, electronica, hiphop, r&b, dancehall, even alternative, rock, and heavy metal. DJ Zena is that she is a writer who has a Bachelors in Creative Writing. Always feeling more timid about sharing her writings, shes found a second outlet for expression, creating, and connecting with people through making them dance.

Jaz Cruz is an Artist, Writer, Barber. She has been a member of WOW for eight years and a Producer and organizer of Rivers of Honey for six years. She single-handedly resurrected the Rivers of Honey framework to represent a spiritual artist space for women of color.

Shawn(ta) Smith, Your Rivers Co-producer & WebMistress. She is a lesbian separatist, writer, Archivist, Librarian, and Brooklyn native, whose work is focused on preserving the stories of women of color, particularly African ancestral lesbians.
