o The package SAPK-462COINVIRSA for SAP Compliance Calibrator by

Virsa Systems contains the below mentioned objects in customer
namespace.

in the system you are going to import the package. If any object
exists, then you should not import the package and contact SAP
Support or the existing objects will be overwritten.

o Required release
SAP R/3 Release 4.7 must be installed on your system prior to
installing SAP Compliance Calibrator 4.0 by Virsa Systems for R/3
4.7.

o Import the latest SPAM/SAINT update

Make sure that you have imported the latest SPAM/SAINT update in
your system from SAP Service Marketplace.

o NOTE: The installation procedure is carried out using only SAINT

(SAP Add-on Installation Tool).

o Notes that you should obtain before the installation:

Add-ons: If you need more information on the operation of Add-ons

o Prerequisites:
Check whether the following prerequisites are met in your system:

o There are no specific support packages required for the

installation of SAP Compliance Calibrator 4.0 by Virsa Systems on
R/3 4.7. The installation will work with any release of R/3 4.7.

3. Preparing for SAP Compliance Calibrator 4.0 by Virsa

Systems Installation

o Making SAP Compliance Calibrator by Virsa Systems available:

The installation of SAP Compliance Calibrator 4.0 by Virsa Systems
is available in SAP Service Marketplace only. After downloading the
package from SAP Service Marketplace proceed as follows:

o Log on as user
<sid>adm for UNIX
<SID>OFR for AS/400

<SID>adm for Windows

Switch to the directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT> of your R/3 system (usually

/usr/sap/trans/EPS). You can also display the directory
<DIR_EPS_ROOT> by executing the report RSPFPAR under DIR_EPS_ROOT.

- Switch into the directory one level higher than <DIR_EPS_ROOT>.

- Unpack the SAR archive K-462COINVIRSA.CAR with the following

command:
SAPCAR -xvf /<PATH>/K-462COINVIRSA.CAR for UNIX
SAPCAR '-xvf /<PATH>/K-462COINVIRSA.CAR' for AS/400
SAPCAR -xvf <DRIVE>:\<PATH>\K-462COINVIRSA.CAR with Windows

o The file called DUX0020131547_0000019.PAT should now be in the

directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in.

4. Installing SAP Compliance Calibrator 4.0 by Virsa Systems

o User to be used:
Log on to your R/3 system in Client 000 as a user with SAP_ALL
rights. Do not use the users SAP* or DDIC.

o Making the SAP Compliance Calibrator by Virsa Systems installation

package visible:
Call Transaction SAINT and select the button 'Load'. When the list
of uploaded packages is displayed, use F3 or the 'Back' button to
return to the initial screen of Transaction SAINT.

o Starting the installation:

Call Transaction SAINT, select "VIRSA 400_620 SAP Compliance
Calibrator by Virsa Systems" and then 'Continue'. If all necessary
conditions are fulfilled for importing SAP Compliance Calibrator by
Virsa Systems, the corresponding queue is now displayed. To start
the installation process, select 'Continue' (we recommend to use
the "start installation in background" option). For more
information, call Transaction SAINT and select the information
button in the application toolbar.
You will be asked to enter a password. You will find the password
further on in this note.

5. After Installing SAP Compliance Calibrator 4. 0 by Virsa

Systems

o Importing Support Packages after the installation

The Add-on does not modify other Software components. Hence it is
possible to apply Support Packages without restrictions. The
Support Packages for VIRSA 400_620 can be downloaded from SAP
Service Marketplace. Please make sure you download and install all
of the Support Packages related to the SAP Compliance Calibrator.

o Delivery Customizing:
On installation, data is imported into 000 clients. Once imported,
data may be copied into other clients if required. For more
information, see Note 337623.
