BEFOREYOUSTARTUnpacksystem&allcomponents,checkingallitemsarecompleteaspertheenclosedpacking list. 2. THENAVGARDCONTROLPANELIdentifyalocationonthebridgeconsidereasyaccessforwiringandoperation 2.1 ForbulkheadmountingPlaceenclosureagainstbulkhead&markfourdrillingpositionsusingtheenclosureholesor themountingbrackets.Refertodrawingno001C1 2.1 ForconsolemountingRefertodrawing001D1forcorrectsizeofcutoutrequired.Fitthecollarsuppliedto Navgardcontrolpanelandsecuretoconsole. 2.3 Identifythenumberofcableentriesrequireddependingonthenumberandconfigurationoftheperipheralstobe installedandanyexternalsignalstobeused.Oneentryisrequiredforeachofthefollowing: 1x24VDCpowersupply 1xforstage3(CommunalArea)alarmloop

1xforeachpushbuttonresetloop(Internal&External) 1xforoutputtoVDR 1xforPIRResetloop(ifinstalled) 1xforeachstage2(Cabin)alarm 1xfortrackcontrolsignal 1xstandbypowersupply(24VDCifconnected)

2.4 KnockoutsarelocatedintheNavgardcontrolpanelbase.Openthecorrectnumberofknockoutsbyusingablunt punchandtappingwithahammeruntiltheypushthrough,andinstalltherequirednumberofM20glandssupplied (partnumber:101249) 2.5 MounttheNavgardcontrolpaneltotheidentifiedlocationusingthesuppliedbracketsandfittings. 3. MOUNTING RESET DEVICES In accordance with performance standards MSC.128 (75) & IEC 62616, motion sensors and reset buttons should be easily accessible from the conning position, the workstation for navigating and manoeuvring, the workstation for monitoring and the bridge wings.
