Each race is scored individually. LCCS points will be awarded to the riders appropriate category per LCCS rules. Races are open to all USA Cycling licensed riders, but championship medals will only be awarded to Louisiana/Mississippi riders. All USA Cycling, LAMBRA (LCCS) rules apply. Fees:

$35 pre registration on line at USA Cycling $40 day of registration $20 for Juniors No Refunds NO ADDITIONAL FEE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION. Fees include insurance surcharge of $3/day. Riders without USAC Road licenses purchase 1-day licenses at $10 additional and race Master 30+4/ 5 (or Junior-18 or Women). Distances/times approximate.

Registration: On line at USA Cycling Race day registration and number pick-up will take place at the race start, 13918 Hwy 421 St Francisville, La. - see map Opens at 7:30 am day of the event and Closes at 8:15 AM Racers (including children 10 and over) must have a valid USAC Road license or 1-day license to be eligible for ANY Race. $10 one day licenses are available for all races on line at USA Cycling and on Race day at registration Equipment: All USAC Rules Apply - Jerseys must have sleeves - Approved Helmets must be worn Numbers must be placed on the left side. - Number CAN NOT be folded. - Audio players, i.e. mp3 players, are NOT allowed.

Helmets:

Per USA Cycling rule 1K1, Riders are required to wear a securely fastened helmet at all times while mounted on a bicycle. 22 mile loop of smooth asphalt with some rolling hills.

Directions:

From St. Francisville go North on Hwy 61 approximately 8 miles, turn right on Hwy 421 then travel 3 miles, the entrance will be marked on the left. Free primitive camping is available on site please contact Chris LeMoine for more information.

ROAD RACE RULES


COURSE IS OPEN TO TRAFFIC A single following wheel truck will be provided for main groups. The large groups will have lead motorcycles and/or police vehicles. ABSOLUTELY NO PRIVATE VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED ON THE COURSE !!! FEEDING only in the area of the start/finish (see map), past the finish line. Feeding anywhere else, or from a vehicle will result in DISQUALIFICATION of the rider! We will try to have some volunteers to provide neutral feeds to riders without support. COURSE: Check the course map! Riders are responsible for staying on the course. The Road Race route includes right turns at three intersections. The course will be run clockwise. Riders must MAINTAIN LANE POSITIONS in the final 200 meters for a sprint finish. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE A CLEAR LEFT LANE. CROSSING THE CENTER LINE of the road is prohibited. We are VERY serious about this! All USAC rules will be enforced at all times. Riders in different races (separate starts) may not work together in the Road Race.
