IMPROVING YOUR STUDENT'S EMPLOYABILITY

Better placement E-cell, E-leader, campus companies, student startups & workshop producing more entrepreneurial students leading to better placements and faster career growth for the entrepreneurial in innovative & high growth jobs. E Leaders 5 leaders per year can attend 1-day leadership and e-ship skill-building workshops. They will be eligible to attend 1 regional networking activity annually.

FUNDING GENERATING NEW SOURCES OF FUNDING


Entrepreneur Education NEN members will be equipped to create and run workshops, special courses for entrepreneurs and mentoring sessions for community entrepreneurs providing them with new revenue sources. Scholarships Member faculty are eligible for scholarships to attend NEN FDPs up to a limit of Rs. 30,000 per year per institute. Scholarships are not guaranteed, may be partial, and are needs-based after faculty member has been admitted for the course.

ANNEXURE A: NEN MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS Special NEN Trust Resources


NEN Trust has developed several other resources that are highly specialized and fall outside the base benefits for a member. These resources include both fee-based and third-party sponsored free services that are spelled out below. Since these resources are highly specialized, they are matched to members that have the highest demonstrated commitment to developing entrepreneurship.

NEN Consulting Services

HELPING YOU TO DEFINE ANNUAL DELIVERABLES

Consultants from the NEN Trust will work with member institution's faculty and management to define specific annual deliverables and the action plan to achieve these based on the institution's goals. They will also help map any additional NEN resources for the year to achieve these to maximize impact for the member and NEN. The NEN trust raises and will continue to raise resources from corporate and other partners to partially or fully subsidize some of these resources for the benefit of our member institutes. Presently these NEN Trust consultant services are offered free to members due to the generous support of the Wadhwani Foundation.

NEN Paid Services ENABLING MEMBERS TO BUILD ADVANCED INSTITUTIONAL CAPACITY


Faculty Development Programs Throughout the academic year NEN offers a range of faculty development programs tailored for Indian faculty. These programs equip faculty to build a results-oriented entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus. Courses offered range from Basic Essentials including Practice Teaching through Advanced Topics such as Building Organizations, Raising Capital, Getting to Market and Mentor Development and High-Impact Infrastructure Design. NEN Members are charged are concessional rates and are eligible for scholarships. Innovation & Incubation Program Support NEN Trust offers its member institutes a paid service to qualify, prepare and apply successfully for funding from government and non-government sources. The AICTE EDC program, the Department of Science & Technology (DST) IEDC and Incubator programs are examples of such funding sources. For instance, for an IEDC funding application, NEN Trust will help institutes run an Innovative Ideas competition, have the ideas shortlisted by a panel of experts, run a technical entrepreneurship course for projects including industry interaction and patent search workshops and to shortlist projects by an expert panel. NEN also enable the creation of effective and relevant project proposals per funder guidelines and the preparation of the final presentation which is critical to get funded.
