The 2014 introductions and enhancements are the result of Harley-Davidsons profound focus on customer-led design and our commitment to put those designs through rigorous testing and development. To build motorcycles the way no one else does. By riders. For riders. What we refer to as Project Rushmore. By sharing the riding experience with our customers, weve been able to make a remarkable ride even better. The results of our deep-rooted customer connection, collaboration and responsiveness are evident in the impressive 2014 news:

NEW IN 2014
New Fat Bob model is redesigned and more muscular  than ever, supporting its reputation as a riders motorcycle with new, blacked-out finishes front to back, new side profile with an aggressive bulldog stance, slash-cut rear fender, blunt-cut mufflers, and new minimalist features including a trimmed-down, improved-comfort seat and a low-mount console.  All-New Street Glide Special model takes the numberone Street Glide motorcycle and upgrades it with added style, function and performance including a gloss-black inner fairing, factory pinstriping, stylized matching air cleaner and tank panel inserts, colormatched fairing skirt, CVO-style, low-profile rear suspension, Boom! Box 6.5GT, new Reflex Linked Brakes with ABS standard, Smart Security System standard, and featuring Project RUSHMORE customer-led enhancements in confidence, comfort, convenience, style and power.  New CVO Road King motorcycle shows off its darker side with blacked-out components (handlebar, controls, mirrors, powertrain, covers), Project RUSHMORE improvements, new custom wheels, color-matched nacelle and beer cans, heavy breather air cleaner, two-piece seat with Tuck and Roll leather inserts, color-matched saddlebag support, Daymaker LED headlight, and three new premium paint schemes.  New CVO Limited model comes with the entire range of Project RUSHMORE enhancements and everything standard including new Reflex Linked Brakes with ABS, plus custom paint, hand-applied pinstriping, colormatched details, Slipstream Collection components, matching rider and passenger backrests, dual control heated seat, new wheels, Boom! Box 6.5GT, and a new Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110 engine.

New CVO Softail Deluxe motorcycle delivers top of-the-line features in a compact, easy-to-handle ride offering a lower center of gravity and ergonomics important to smaller-stature customers including a low seat height, compact rider triangle, smaller diameter grips, as well as nostalgic whitewall tires, mustache engine guard with foot pad, standard ABS, security and cruise, and a detachable windscreen with GPS, detachable passenger backrest and luggage rack, and detachable lockable saddlebags. The Sportster family gets important function and performance changes with a new brake system, new electrical system to support the updates, and a new exhaust system, adding up to a ride thats more confidence-inspiring while delivering reduced emissions. Hand controls are more ergonomic and include a new trip switch and start switch, plus a speedometer that displays gear and RPMs by using the trip switch. ABS is now an option on all Sportster models and a security option comes with new keyless ignition. Both the Super Glide Custom model and Street Bob  motorcycle have the Twin Cam 103 engine. Security and ABS are no longer bundled as a Security  Package, but are still available as separate options. ABS is now standard on V-Rod models, the Wide  Glide model and Switchback motorcycle, and nearly all 2014 Softail models with the exception of the Softail Slim model. The V-Rod Muscle motorcycle has a new two-tone paint choice Amber Whiskey with Flames.

 -D1 custom program gets a design update on the H 1200 Custom model with two new graphic packages, one geared to Young Adults and the other appealing to Womens Outreach.  New paint schemes, new colors, and new graphics across bike families. 28 color choices featuring 11 new paint schemes, 3 new Hard Candy Custom colors, and 2 new Custom colors. Additionally, the Breakout model is now offered in a Hard Candy Custom color.  The biggest changes for 2014? Project RUSHMORE! Harley-Davidson rolls out the most extensive feature changes in years. An epic, customer-focused journey, Project RUSHMORE fundamentally improves the riding experience for owners of Touring models making them better and bolder.  Harley-Davidson spent thousands of hours gaining information through customer events, demo rides, focus groups, and riding alongside our customers to respond like never before. The results are countless innovations and technology enhancements that collectively add up to one enormous transformation.
