especially Margaret Hunt, Peter Rouble and Barbara Donnelly.
PRAYERS FOR THE SICK AND SHUT-IN: “Let us raise up in prayer those who seek
God’s healing love, those at the hospital, hospice and at home. May your struggle
be consoled by Christ’s love“.

PARISH SUPPER – VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED!!!!

We are still looking for approximately 20 – 25 more volunteers to help out with
various duties for the day. Areas of need are: take out, hostessing, kitchen duties
(dishes and someone to help make gravy) to name a few. If you can help out,
please contact Louise Neville 432-7698. THANK YOU!

CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU, SISTER SHEILA

T he Grey Sisters of the Immaculate Conception have chosen Sister Sheila Whelan to
be a member of their Leadership Team. Her many talents will be a gift to her
community. After eight years as part of our Parish team we will miss her generous and
committed ministry. Sister Sheila will begin her new position in September. Let us
show our appreciation and support as she enjoys the summer months with us.

SACRAMENTAL CELEBRATIONS: We have welcomed many young people to the

forgiving love of God in Reconciliation and to the Spirit of God in Confirmation, as well as
to the Table of Eucharist. We congratulate their families for their commitment to their
children and our Church. To all of our parish catechists, I express our gratitude for your
commitment.
ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CEMETERY: We extend gratitude to Rose Bresee for again this
year being so kind in volunteering to care for the plants at our
cemetery. We all benefit from this labour of generosity.
