htm Corpus Juris Secundum about the Nature and Duty of Attorneys (vol 7, sec 4, pg 799-802) "An attorney is an officer of the court with an obligation to the courts and the public as well as to his clients, and his duty is to facilitate the administration of justice. An attorney does not hold an office of public trust, in the constitution of statutory sense of that term, and strictly speaking, he is not an officer of the state or of a government subdivision thereof. Rather, as held in many decisions, he is an officer of the court, before which he has been admitted to practice. An attorney is not the court or one of its ministerial officers, or a law enforcement officer. He is, however, in a sense an officer of the state, with an obligation to the courts, and to the public no less significant than his obligation to his clients. His first duty is to the courts and the public not to the client, and wherever the duties of the client conflict with those he owes as an officer of the court in the administration of justice, the former must yield to the latter." If someone cannot make the "Accepted for Value" work, then it is probably a weakness in the user, not the technology. "it is a poor craftsman who blames his tools" The other issue is that the "courts" , and I use that word "courts" tongue in cheek, are in anarchy. They are trying to create law from the bench. About the only hope for America is to rid us of the "courts" and the leach-yers (lawyers) like what was anticipated with the original 13th Amendment. Larry is a lawyer, and whatever his honorable intentions are, he is still a lawyer, plying his trade, which is lawyer-craft. I don't put a lot of confidence in a profession that was referred to by the Savior, Jesus Christ, in less than complimentary terms. Jesus said to "agree" quickly with your adversary... It is not the the advantage of any attorney to preach what Jesus taught, or their whole "other-world" will crumble. It is easy to see why Larry takes the position that he does. If Larry would repent and turn to God, I think there might be foregiveness. But to maintain lawyer-craft, I would think that there is no foregiveness in this world or the world to come.
